I have enjoyed watching your reviews. Unfortunately, with my current financial situation I cannot watch them on Patreon. I am old enough to be your grandmother. And when these started coming out I watched them with my grandson who was about 7or8. After we watched the first one there was a brew haha about the fact that they were wizarding movies. So, I spoke to my grandson at the time after watching the first movie. And, the answer he gave me was the one at the top of my mind. He actually did not say anything about the wizarding aspect. What he spoke about was the friendships that developed between Harry, Ron and Hermione. That is also what I see in you. The only criticism I have is words you are saying that if/when you become a father you won't want coming out of your child's mouth. I am a red head by nature, but I learned many years ago how to make someone feel an inch tall without one 'dirty' word coming out of my mouth. Something to think about. I enjoy your reactions so well that I generally watch all of the Harry Potter series a couple times a week. ;-) My intention with this 'reply' was to actually give you the definition of a word that Ron spoke to Fleur. The word was 'Merci" which is the French word for Thank You. Ron was thanking her for the kiss she gave him due to his helping to save her sister. ;-)

in the book it starts at the Dursley's house when the weasley's comes through floo powder which leads to the most hilarious scenes of the whole franchise. ive read the book at least 15 times and i cracked up laughing every time
Ravenclaw, wand=elm/unicorn hair/10"/pliant flexability, patronus is a unicorn. Ron's insecurities reared their ugly head in this one. He's always been overshadowed by 5 older, very accomplished or popular brothers, one friend is the smartest kid at school and the other is the most famous. Harry becoming a champion just pushed him over the edge for a bit. The dragon didn't break the chain and chase Harry all over Hogwarts in the book. That's just the screenwriter and director's need for gratuitous movie action.
That bird looking statue that you see outside of Dumbledore's office that protects the staircase is a griffin as in gryffindor, Buckbeak is a hippogriff
Important removed scenes are as follows - Cedric used a Transfiguration spell to change a rock into a dog to distract the dragon. He was partially successful; the dragon took the bait, and Cedric went for the Golden egg. Halfway through, the dragon turned its attention back to Cedric, and burned his face. Cedric retrieved the egg, however, and passed the task. Second was Fleur Delacour, who faced a Common Welsh Green. She enchanted the dragon to sleep, but while retrieving the golden egg, the dragon snored and let out a jet of flame that set her skirt alight. She extinguished the flames, and retrieved her egg. Viktor Krum was third, facing a Chinese Fireball. He used the Conjunctivitis Curse to blind the dragon and retrieve his egg. However, he was docked points when the dragon stumbled around and smashed half of the real eggs. Harry Potter drew the fiercest of them all, the Hungarian Horntail. On the advice of Crouch Jr. (disguised as Professor Moody), he used a Summoning Charm to bring his Firebolt broomstick to him, and manoeuvred past the dragon to retrieve his egg. After the First Task, Harry and Viktor were tied for first place, with Cedric in second, and Fleur in third. The champions were told that, the Golden egg they retrieved contained a clue on how to pass the Second Task. Without it, they had little chance of succeeding. I hope you watch the extended edition for the final films ahead. (Especially the last one part one and two which has some stuff that puts some things into full circle.)
The Draco-ferret bit, as done in the film, is a nod to Scottish actor Sylvester McCoy, who was the Seventh Doctor on the science fiction show 'Doctor Who'. J.K. Rowling did put the ferret sequence in the book. However, early in his career, McCoy did a stage show that included several stunts. One was to pretend to stuff a live ferret into his pants, while having it actually crawl up his sleeve, The ferret didn't want to cooperate, though, so they wound up sewing a special pocket into Sylvester's trousers, where the ferret would curl up and go to sleep. (There's also an episode of 'Babylon 5' in which Ivanova is trying to get Sheridan's attention, rattling off an increasingly bizarre list of unlikely events, ending with 'And did I mention i have fifteen wild badgers down my trousers?' When Sheridan looks up confused, she adds 'You would prefer ferrets?') During Harry's portion of the first task, they deliberately blurred the dragon in the background when it's chasing him, making it all the more menacing.
I know you said that you liked that he didn't start off at the dursley and wasn't being abused their, and well yes I agree that is nice. In the book though however the Weasleys came to pick him up for the for the Quidditch Champion Cup and when Fred and George came through the fireplace they decided to try out some of their special candies and cause Dudley's tongue to swell up it was a funny scene and well deserved after all the crap they put Harry through

He’s actually in the shadow of his entire family and all the attention and love goes to the sister and the older brothers. That and he only ever gets hand me downs (not always the good kind) even his wand that broke in the second one was from Bill or Charley….
@@Makkaru112There’s also the fact that Mrs Weasley picked out Harry’s more fashionable dress robes, while she admitted she had to buy Ron’s secondhand. Ron complained about how everything he owned was rubbish. It must’ve sucked 😢
The book for Goblet Of Fire was amazing. Especially when The Weasleys came to get HP for the World Cup and the World Cup itself, not to mention the Maze.
Cool thing about the maze that isn’t explained in the movies is that they took down the quidditch stadium and Hagrid grew the maze for the competition through the school year (in the book each task was months apart with plenty of time to prepare not back to back in the movie)
HI SUNNY! lol im glad you like my babbling cause i honestly cant help myself. ill start off by saying an easy way to remember harrys age is by sticking a 1 at the start of which ever movie youre watching, excluding the last movie cause its a part 2 and not a stand alone. for example in the first movie hes 11, second movie hes 12, 3rd hes 13 so on and so forth. thats part of what makes all of harrys magical feets so impressive, hes barely even a teenager when he learns to cast a patronus. in our world thats basically like learning collage math when in middle school, its a spell not even required to learn to graduate from hogwarts. Another tid-bit of info is that Robert Pattinson ("the twilight guy") landed his role in harry potter before getting the twilight contract, many believe it was his performance in this movie that landed him in the twilight role that kicked off his career. some gripes about this film that i have are that they CUT the quidditch world cup, a true crime! theres multipole chapters in the book just revolving around the quidditch world cup and the events before and after. and yes, very much yes, there are wizards all over the world. Africa's magic school, Uagadou, is known for teaching wandless magic, learning and preforming their version of transformation magic, allowing their students to become animagus taking the forms of animals that can be found in the african wilds. The United States of America even has a school too, Ilvermorny. founded by a woman and her muggle husband (kinda wild to think a muggle helped found one of the greatest schools of magic in the world). i could go on and on. J.k. Rowling expanded her IP a handful of years ago when she wanted to tell more stories from the wizarding world than just what happens in Britain. the official site for all extended lore and quizzes is called WizardingWorld.com. while on the topic of the wizarding world, id like to make note that the French school of magic is NOT an all girls school and the Bulgarian school is NOT and all boys school. i have no clue why they made that change but they did. the 2 schools are basically their country's versions of hogwarts. once again sunny, i had a blast watching and babbling about HP, literally any questions ill do my best to answer. take care!
Salazar The Great also was good friends with the fellows of Dermstrang. He confounded it after leaving Hogwarts or it was before… but still! And the true shame is the maze and the dragons. The sphinx too. And not even proper build up to the rise of Voldemort which had so much juicy stuff and a lot of death eater stuff that didn’t include the main characters… not even in some sort of extended scene where it’s in news papers spoken by other characters Ike say by Seamus, Dean or Angelina or something. Funny thing is even from JK apparently Dean actually ended up with Seamus romantically.
All we can hope for is that the TV show will include everything the movies had to cut. The quidditch world cup, winkey, the creatures in the maze. And id love to see harry out fly, and out smart a dragon...ya knw.. without the thing getting loose on the grounds. As if dumbledores in the croud going "ah yes, good... its gone" hahaha"what u mean it got onto ravenclaw tower?" Lol
@@SylvariRayne I should note we don't have Middle School in the UK where Harry Potter is set . due to the fact the age of majority to leave home is 16 over here. by our laws Harry would already be in high school at age 13 14 . college starts at 16 in the uk x
Based on your success with this HP franchise, you should consider way more movie reactions going forward. Your channel will grow even more. Tackle any big or classic fim series/franchises you haven't seen. LoTR, Back to the Future, Star Wars content, Godfather and other mob films, etc. You're made for these types of film reactions.
@@YoSunnyP Definitely LOTR and The Hobbit. I would even suggest doing Hobbit before LOTR, since technically the Hobbit is the story before LOTR even though LOTR movies came out 1st.
Not very into sports so I don't have favorites.. I love it too! Dumbledore at least has a whole chapter at the end of every book just dropping gems! ❤ you're so perceptive you catch onto so much I love it! your reactions are always the best❤ Btw at the end Dumbledore said the name of the magic happened when Harry's and Voldemort's wands connected "Priori Incantatem" is what he said, it was an effect that happens whenever two wands that have the same core connects in a duel "remember in movie 1 when the wand maker told Harry that his wand has the same core as Voldemort's wand, two magical feathers from the same Phoenix "actually it was Dumbledore's Phoenix, Fawkes" anyway, this effect forces the losing wand "which was Voldemort's, you saw Harry pushing him you noticed" to regurgitate its last spells in reverse order, so in Voldemort's case they were all killings so a kind pf phantom or an echo of his last victims appeared! Cedric, the old man from the beginning and Harry's parents!💔 They can only linger for a few minutes before they disappear again, and so because they were all people who either knew Harry and loved him like his parents and Cedric or just innocents whom Voldemort killed like the old man, they chose to help Harry by advancing on Voldemort, confusing him for a minute so Harry could escape.👌 They didn't have time to explain that in the movie but in that scene at the end Dumbledore made sure to make Harry understand that you can never bring anyone from the dead by any means of magic EVER, That's very important for you to remember for later! so just keep it in mind.👌
Films 3 through 5 are the best of the franchise, along with the final film. But really I don't even see any of them as separate. This is just one long story. It's literally life-changing for people.
Goblet of fire is regarded by some as one of the worst. The director cut so much out from the book and the mystery aspect of the book he revealed early on with revealing who Barty crouch was and the tongue thing
Over time six has grown on me. And there are even things I appreciate about movie seven now that I have seen them all so many times. Eight is awesome tho--resolves so many things in a very satisfying way.
Both Ron and Harry are acting like horses' asses by ignoring and not dancing with their respective dates. They're just not "in the spirit of the evening."
@@YoSunnyP Interesting fact. The animal or magical creature is said to link to a person's secret self, so the specific Patronus represents something deep inside the personality inside the conjurer. The animal could be recognizable or a complete surprise.
@@YoSunnyP In the Prisoner of Azkaban you saw that Harry's Patronus is a Stag, his father's was also a Stag and his father was also an Animagus (Wizard/Witch that can turn into an animal at will like Sirius Black) that turned into a Stag.
You keep asking how old they are: each movie is a school year, and they started at 11, so they are 12 in the second movie, 13 in the third, 14 in this one, 15 in the Order of the Phoenix, 16 in the Half Blood Prince, and 17 in both parts of Deathly Hallows.
Some facts about this part: 1) The twins' birthday is April 1 (what day could've brought such pranksters?), and as of the selection moment they were 16, so they had no right to enter. However, in the book it is mentioned that their classmate Angelina Johnson added her name to the Goblet because she turned 17 a week before the selection. 2) The names of the foreign champions are meaningful, just like most of the characters. Fleur Delacour got her name after a French idiom, which literally means "flower of the yard", and figuratively "the fairest one of all". And Viktor Krum got his surname after the Bulgarian khan Krum (should be pronounced with an OO sound)
Absolutely loving your reactions! Looking forward to seeing what other films you do. I didn't comment this on the 2nd film because you hadn't learnt about the killing curse yet but if you go back to the confrontation at the end of Chamber of Secrets between Harry and Lucious you hear Lucious start to say Avada Kadavra to Harry when Dobby steps in and sends Lucious flying. He was literally going to kill a 12 year old outside Dumbledore's office and Dobby saved him! The film doesn't actually explain the maze scene properly. Barty Jr as Moody used the Imperius Curse on Krum (that took him out of the running) and used him to try and take out Fleur and Cedric to ensure Harry was the one to get to the cup and end up at the graveyard. That's why Krum ignores Harry in the maze and walks past him. I'm a mess every single time I hear Cedric's dad shout, it's absolutely heartbreaking!
Thank you for this! I never really stopped and thought about what exactly caused Krum to act like that. But thank you for your kind words and awesome information! 🙏🏼
In the book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Dumbledore explained to Harry that Priori Incantatem is what happened when their two wands with matching wand core connected. If you recall from the very first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone or Philosopher's Stone when Harry got his wand Mr. Olivander said that the phoenix feather in Harry's wand had a matching feather in another wand that came from the same exact phoenix. The person that has the other feather in his wand is Voldemort. Harry found out in the book version of Goblet of Fire that the phoenix was Dumbledore's bird, Fawks. Because Harry and Voldemort has matching wand cores it means the wands are equal in power and relation. The wands really are brothers. As Harry's wand began to slowly beat Voldemort's wand it caused the Piori Incantatem spell to happen. That means the last few spells that a wand made reveals itself. So in this case not only did the last few murders that Voldemort's wand made expose itself to everyone in the graveyard, in the book version it also showed Wormtail's new silvery hand first as well. 🪄💥⚡️🪄
I love when the Dursley's don't make an appearance but they do in the book. It was a favorite part because Mr. Weasley, Ron, and the twins come to 4 Privet Drive to collect Harry before the World Cup. Things don't go smoothly and it is a very funny part of the book.
The actress who plays Reeta Skeeter was also in an incredible movie: The Crying Game. If you react to it, NO SPOILERS. Don’t read or watch anything about it.
Love your account and love your reactions. Took me about 6 times to finish it because the way the edit was cut triggered my ocd bad 😂🤦🏼♂️ but love the authentic reaction none the less

Draco is NOT part Veela. There is absolutely nothing in the books or movies that indicate Draco is anything but a Pureblood wizard. The “Draco Is Part Veela” nonsense started with a fanfiction story where Draco & Harry were romantically involved. To explain why Harry was attracted to Draco the fanfic the writer said Draco was part Veela. Rowling has never said Draco is part Veela. Not once. I wish people would stop repeating fanfiction rubbish as if it’s canon.
The snake in the zoo was a Burmese Python. Nagini is a Reticulated Python. The only snake that get bigger than a Reticulated Python is an Anaconda. And they don't get longer, just heavier.
Yeah actually the mermaid song had another line. I don't know why they cut it. Maybe the actor couldn't hold his breath that long. I don't know but the final line is the entire reason. Harry thought the kids who weren't gathered up from down there might be left to die. Hence the reason he got there first but waited for everyone else to show up just in case... The final line was after that the prospects black too late. It's gone. It won't be back meaning they'd be left down there forever to rot. They would not receive their loved one back
@@Asa...S Not really. He never said he intends on reading the books and even if he did it's a minor detail. Plus it will help him make more sense when he watches future movie as to why 2 people just showed up out of nowhere.
Krum caught the snitch but the Irish won as they had more points I think, I’m still mad we didn’t get The Quidditch World Cup in the movie 😔 *Dumbledore asked calmly* Dumbledore was so angry because this tournament could very easily kill 14 year old Harry, and he can’t get out of it People have probably explained, but Bill Weasley works as a Curse-Breaker for Gringotts, Charlie Weasley works with dragons, Percy Weasley was head boy and works in the Ministry, Fred and George Weasley are charismatic and very popular at school, and Ginny is the only girl child that Molly Weasley tried to have- on top of that being best friends with Harry Potter the Chosen one, Ron Weasley feels extremely insecure, so Harry being selected to take part in the Triwizard Tournament to win even more fame and glory-and money that he and his family would benefit from, was the straw that broke the camels back. That, and raging teenage hormones, makes Ron’s upset make a little more sense 😅 But he was still a piece of trash to Hermione at the Yule ball 😭 Harry tried to give his winnings to Cedric’s father in the end but he refused to take the money, so instead Harry gave it to Fred and George to start their joke shop
Hey Sunny 🙋...the name fits you well... I enjoyed the reaction and you were very quick to recognize the Crouch Jr character..most don't until the end... I'll be here for your next installment of the series... 🌿🌿🌿
1) you’re cute 2) you’re the only reactor who ever displayed the same reaction I have every time I see this movie, when Voldemort is stroking wormtail. Of everything, that has to be the most obscene.
You should watch Doctor Who. David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr) is a very big time actor and plays the tenth Doctor. A lot of people think it's funny that he shows up in the Harry Potter movie where things are bigger in the inside when the whole thing about the TARDIS from Doctor Who is that its also bigger in the inside.
I wish I could tell you there wouldn't be more difficult moments, but... just keep watching. Stay well friend! Editing to answer your question: hockey and baseball!
YY recommend your Order of the Phoenix video. So I came to watch this reaction first just to see your reaction to the graveyard scene. I’ll watch the other videos after 😅
By the way, I highly recommend you react to The Hunger Games movies if you have never seen them. They're truly amazing, and this way you'll be ready just in time to watch the newest Hunger Games film in theaters which comes out next week! That film is based on the fourth book in the series which is actually a prequel, so it's a back story to the villain of The Hunger Games. Please watch them if you haven't already! I subscribed to your channel 🙂

Ron is such a jerk at the ball. He treats Hermione so bad. I understand that he is fourteen years old and in this context it is somehow "okay". But Hermione did nothing wrong. Someone asked her, to go to the ball, and she said yes. She owes nothing to Ron, especially not when we treats her like this. I'm sorry for Padma Patil (the girl Ron went on the ball with) too. She wanted to have a nice evening, but again: Ron is such a jerk in the situation. For me there is a difference between "having no filter" and being an asshole, being disrespectful. :( Neither Hermione nor Padma are to blame for how he feels. Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my native language. :)
The evolution of your reaction to voldemort returning is hilarious. Oh, he's like back back now. Great. This is gross. This is disgusting. What is that?

Gotcha! Thank you brother!
@@YoSunnyP Definitely LOTR and The Hobbit. I would even suggest doing Hobbit before LOTR, since technically the Hobbit is the story before LOTR even though LOTR movies came out 1st.
@@YoSunnyPthe hunger games series
Not very into sports so I don't have favorites..
I love it too! Dumbledore at least has a whole chapter at the end of every book just dropping gems! ❤
you're so perceptive you catch onto so much I love it! your reactions are always the best❤
Btw at the end Dumbledore said the name of the magic happened when Harry's and Voldemort's wands connected "Priori Incantatem" is what he said, it was an effect that happens whenever two wands that have the same core connects in a duel "remember in movie 1 when the wand maker told Harry that his wand has the same core as Voldemort's wand, two magical feathers from the same Phoenix "actually it was Dumbledore's Phoenix, Fawkes"
anyway, this effect forces the losing wand "which was Voldemort's, you saw Harry pushing him you noticed" to regurgitate its last spells in reverse order, so in Voldemort's case they were all killings so a kind pf phantom or an echo of his last victims appeared!
Cedric, the old man from the beginning and Harry's parents!💔
They can only linger for a few minutes before they disappear again, and so because they were all people who either knew Harry and loved him like his parents and Cedric or just innocents whom Voldemort killed like the old man, they chose to help Harry by advancing on Voldemort, confusing him for a minute so Harry could escape.👌
They didn't have time to explain that in the movie but in that scene at the end Dumbledore made sure to make Harry understand that you can never bring anyone from the dead by any means of magic EVER, That's very important for you to remember for later! so just keep it in mind.👌
Films 3 through 5 are the best of the franchise, along with the final film. But really I don't even see any of them as separate. This is just one long story. It's literally life-changing for people.
6 and 7pt1 never get any love, but I see them as just as good. For me it's like the first 2 are together, and then the rest are together.
This one was the most dense book. There was so much build up and ALOT of Voldemort stuff long before he even came back.
Goblet Of Fire is 130 pages shorter than Order Of The Phoenix if you mean length. If you mean denseness in info you're right.
@@toodlescaeyes. Denseness in info exactly !
@@Makkaru112 the only one that might give it competition in that respect is Half-Blood Prince.
Both Ron and Harry are acting like horses' asses by ignoring and not dancing with their respective dates. They're just not "in the spirit of the evening."
Don't know why you want Harry to cast 'expecto patronum' because it's only effective against dementors. However you can use it to send messages.
You don’t know why? Maybe because I didn’t know?
@@YoSunnyP Expecto Patronum will be used more though.
Thank you for educating me on this! Now I know!
You keep asking how old they are: each movie is a school year, and they started at 11, so they are 12 in the second movie, 13 in the third, 14 in this one, 15 in the Order of the Phoenix, 16 in the Half Blood Prince, and 17 in both parts of Deathly Hallows.
Some facts about this part:
1) The twins' birthday is April 1 (what day could've brought such pranksters?), and as of the selection moment they were 16, so they had no right to enter.
Flower of the valley. ;)
She’s also full or part Veela which is a humanoid species that’s super irresistible and Draco is also part Veela.

Dude your reactions to the movies are great man, love watching em! keep em coming !
There actually was quite a bit of Dobby scenes also removed from the story. He worked with and or replaced Neville etc.
the guy with the long hair and goetee that went into the hall put harry's name into the flame and was talking to mad eye moody, works for Voldemort
I’m sad they removed the whole sneaking into the prefect bathroom scene. It was epic and funny.
My wand is walnut wood, 10 and three quarter inches, unicorn core. I'm Slytherin and my paronus is a black mamba... yes i know the irony haha it's a deadly snake i get it. Shush. Blame the official pottermore quiz. it made the decision. I didn't even know what a black mamba was i had to look it up.
Hahahah that’s awesome
Cedric was the Hufflepuff seeker in the Hufflepuff Gryffindor Quidditch match in Prisoner of Azkaban.
Really excited you're enjoying these so much. Would love to see what you think of the Avatar movies, and the hunger games series. Awesome videos man, much love. ❤
I'll have to look into those!
Cedric’s dad when he sees his body 😢😢
16:17 Fleur Delacour is a fourth of a human-like species called Veela, exclusively female and are essentially irresistible.
Draco actually is part Veela through his mother and I think also Luna. Draco definitely is
Draco is NOT part Veela.
I use to think it was called "Inspector patronum"

oh interesting thanks
@@McStick7 You're welcome.

Movies left out a lot about Fleur Delacour.
She actually ends up marrying Ron Weasley's older brother Bill Weasley.

Krum caught the snitch but the Irish won as they had more points I think, I’m still mad we didn’t get The Quidditch World Cup in the movie 😔
*Dumbledore asked calmly*
Dumbledore was so angry because this tournament could very easily kill 14 year old Harry, and he can’t get out of it
People have probably explained, but Bill Weasley works as a Curse-Breaker for Gringotts, Charlie Weasley works with dragons, Percy Weasley was head boy and works in the Ministry, Fred and George Weasley are charismatic and very popular at school, and Ginny is the only girl child that Molly Weasley tried to have- on top of that being best friends with Harry Potter the Chosen one, Ron Weasley feels extremely insecure, so Harry being selected to take part in the Triwizard Tournament to win even more fame and glory-and money that he and his family would benefit from, was the straw that broke the camels back. That, and raging teenage hormones, makes Ron’s upset make a little more sense 😅 But he was still a piece of trash to Hermione at the Yule ball 😭
Harry tried to give his winnings to Cedric’s father in the end but he refused to take the money, so instead Harry gave it to Fred and George to start their joke shop
Malfoy have crushed on harry since first episode even the end he still secretly likes harry
i mean idk if he likes him
Expecto patronum only works on dementors

I'll be here for your next installment of the series...

1) you’re cute 2) you’re the only reactor who ever displayed the same reaction I have every time I see this movie, when Voldemort is stroking wormtail. Of everything, that has to be the most obscene.
Thank you so much for the compliment! And right!!!!!
You should watch Doctor Who. David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr) is a very big time actor and plays the tenth Doctor. A lot of people think it's funny that he shows up in the Harry Potter movie where things are bigger in the inside when the whole thing about the TARDIS from Doctor Who is that its also bigger in the inside.
good reaction sunny
