That's true with the Rumble alone WWE made a new star next to Roman in Drew but Drew deserved his moment in front of fans tbh he still deserves that for being one of the pillars of the pandemic era.
This rumble had some of the most interesting stories going into a rumble in a long time. Brock starting at #1 , Drew , Ricochet , Keith Lee , Edge returning , everything was fantastic from beginning to end.

He communicated with Edge knowing he is a veteran and knows how to handle the situation. After that, Edge eliminated AJ earlier than expected. Good communication and improvisation by both wrestlers.
One of the best in the industry, hearing his interview where he was talking about his neck surgery, he said he was worried when his arm started to atrophy incase he dropped someone and put them in the same position as him, that’s what made him decide to get it, true champion and superstar ®️♾

I don't know about perfectly booked. Lesnar dominating superstar after superstar got pretty stale. The whole excitement factor about the Rumble is anticipating the entrances but after a while the crowd started to realize it didn't even matter cause Lesnar was going to dominate them in the most uninteresting fashion. It wasn't a bad rumble though. Got a lot better from Keith Lee entrance onward

Corbin likely told Edge too and set him up in the corner to be closer to AJ. Kudos to Corbin, guy is a known safe worker and has saved a lot of wrestlers too a bunch of times. Great performer and heel character.
I feel Corbin doesn't get enough credit for that. People have a lot of complaints about him, but he can put on pretty good matches and his work is solid in the ring. He can talk, and he has the awareness in the ring to look out for his opponent too. Like when he caught Ziggler from a bad spill up to two times, his matches with Dominic as of recent, and seen here when he checked on A.J. Corbin is probably one of the safest workers in WWE.

The first 30 minutes of this match is one of the best booked rumble matches. WWE did an amazing job to put so many people go over by making Lesnar seem unstoppable. This Rumble was good. I know a lot of people felt that “BROCK SMASH” went too long, but it was worth the wait. Of course, Edge had one of the best Rumble entrances ever.

The first 30 minutes was the most entertaining part Lesnar tossing everyone out of the ring dancing to MVP theme and hugging Shelton Benjamin. It got boring in the middle wirh midcard jobbers but final 10 minutes was entertaining af. I remember i had no idea whos gonna win at those final moments. This was the best Royal Rumble of 2020s.
This was really one of the best modern Royal Rumbles. The way Lesnar was booked, the Keith Lee interaction, McIntyre eliminating him, Edge's emotional return, Rated RKo reunion & the drama filled final minutes leading to McIntyre winning and instantly becoming main event status.
It’s crazy how nostalgia works, because as a kid I HATED RatedRKO and I mean HATED them but when I saw them talking I had the biggest dumbest smile on my face😭
I LOVE that they redid the camera scenes for Edge’s entrance. They used the right camera angles that they should have done last year, and have redeemed themselves

When Edge comes through the smoke, you can tell from the look on his face that he's finally realizing that his whole career was worth it.

This Rumble is up there however 2001 has got to be the pinnacle of Rumbles.

The first 30 minutes of this match is one of the best booked rumble matches. WWE did an amazing job to put so many people go over by making Lesnar seem unstoppable. That reaction when Drew claymore kicked him was amazing to watch. Kieth Lee was so over i hate the WWE didn't do nothing with him after. He should have got a big push

The first 30 minutes was the most entertaining part Lesnar tossing everyone out of the ring dancing to MVP theme and hugging Shelton Benjamin.
It got boring in the middle wirh midcard jobbers but final 10 minutes was entertaining af.

This was really one of the best modern Royal Rumbles. The way Lesnar was booked, the Keith Lee interaction, McIntyre eliminating him, Edge's emotional return, Rated RKo reunion & the drama filled final minutes leading to McIntyre winning and instantly becoming main event status.
This Royal Rumble match last year was great 💯.
Only downside is they didn't have a Kofi save.
