He's such a magnificent specimen. His mane is so gorgeous and full. It looks like he has a jacket on. Gabby is a beautiful lioness, they both inherited good genes.
Both are the epitome of panthera leo perfection! 🦁
And the lion ain't too bad either
If you notice and look at the bodies you see they haven't been fighting in the wild with those killer lions and lionesses. Their skin is clear and their face is not scared up. A sign they have not been in vicious fights.

Darwin was a mere 26 year old with little scientific knowledge, when he came out with some erratic ideas, based only on theory. He was also a complete atheist into the bargin and turned many away from a spiritual understanding.
What a gift you have and what a gift these lions are.
And what a gift Kevin and his team are to all the creatures in their care.
I have to admit. I would like for just once to not watch Kevin’s videos while on the edge of my chair. I still worry about his safety. However, I am so glad he’s been blessed with this task to care for abused/abandoned animals.
It still absolutely blows my mind to see these cats acting just like domestic moggies and how incredible your relationship with them is. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful moments with us

How precious is that giant paw resting on Kevin's knee? That last moment of Bobcat resting in the shade was more effective than any meditation exercise I could attempt. Such a feeling of contentment, awe, and peace. Thank you for the ultra-closeup shots. Almost like burying my nose in Bobcat's mane. What a treat. And Gabby....she's my idol...full of mischief like all old girls should be.
It is intensely relaxing to see Kevin resting in the shade with these beautiful cats somewhere in Africa. I get so much peace out of it. Thank you so much for sharing these moments with us! 😊

True. We are heading for a 4 th lockdown I am sure because.....ok Let's not get political here but I know we are. When eveb Health personel working with ICU patients are forced to be vaxxinated......what do they expect.....
I was alone 23 hours a day for almost 2 years now and my health hit a low I never knew and even if I politely ask people to keep their distance ( 2feet max) I get mocked and shouted at because people will suddenly stop and stay 5 feet away ....though I'm high risk at 41....
These videos keep me somehow sane.

It can weigh very heavily on you, especially when you’re just trying to go about your day. Praying for you, and you found a great place to find some solace. I’ve been following Kevin Richardson for a long time.

I love Gabby, playful and mischievous, just waiting for any chance to pounce Kevin. But Bobcat is so handsome. Beautiful main, lovely swagger and dark legs, lovely shaped eyes and face. Thank you as always for these great videos so full of info.
It's sad to know that without kevin that alot of these animals would not have a good quality of life or worse would be killed. He is truly an amazing person that the world need more people like

@@HkFinn83 I have seen a lot of people said that but rarely try to find out why they are here with Kevin. Some of them are in difficult physical condition, most are born in captive and rescued from hunters and can hunting and etc. so it's hard to release them back into the wild where others packs are already there. Kevin tries as much as he can to help these lions, walking them into wild areas, providing food and medicine for over two decades with love and care. If you are thinking what Kevin's doing is wrong, I would suggest watching his other videos and researching on the topic with open mind and heart. I apologize because my writing is horrible since I am not a native who use English in daily basic but hope you understand what I mean. Have a nice day 🦁💕

The lions are all beautiful and special. Truly a special calling to understand them and interact with them. Kevin Richardson makes it look effortless but it's taken a lot of time and patience to know the cats, leopards and hyenas. My praise is very high!

What a fantastic relationship. I have loved Big cats since I was little and I am in awe of the bond you have with these stunning animals.
The girls loves you as a play partner and their Man. Bobcat, it's more like a brother or a father. The emotions in their eyes is very different from each other when they come for a rub or a cuddle.
This might have been the longest time between the beginning of a Gabs and Bobcat video and the inevitable 'NO GABBY!' yell.

@@rachelschwebach7566 Lion litters aren't very far apart since they take the cubs from the Mom in captivity to be petted. She goes back into estrus and gets pregnant again. In Bobcat and Gabby's case, Kevin has said they are siblings. They don't have to be from the same litter, just the same Mom and Dad.

Dear Kevin Richardson, let me say, in the worst and trying times, of the pandemic, looking at the your videos, of the animals in your care, especially the Lions, including my favorites, Bobcat and Gabby, helped me, many a day, when I couldn't leave my house, due to my underlying conditions, because of the Coronavirus. I would watch your videos, for hours on end, and they would bring tears to my eyes, because they were so beautiful. I'm sure millions of people around the world, felt the same way. You, Kevin Richardson, are the closest thing, to a angel on Earth. Thank You for the extraordinary love, and kindness, you show to those magnificent, animals in your care. Thank you. Kevin said in this video that modern lion experts disagree with Darwin's assertion that the male's mane was there to protect the vulnerable neck area from jaws or claws in a fight. But rather, that the actual purpose of the mane is to show maturity, health, and good genes to anyone looking at him--particularly lionesses. But, regardless of purpose, are Kevin and the modern lion experts he cites and agrees with saying that the mane does NOT offer any significant protection to the vulnerable neck are from jaws and claws in a fight? Have they determined, either from watching fights occur, or even just from handling/petting the mane, that it is not much of a protection as one might think? Or, are Kevin and the modern experts of the belief that, no, the purpose of the mane is not protection of the neck, but as a side benefit, the mane does provide significant protection to that vulnerable area?

Love these animals so much. Every Friday I can't wait to watch a new video. The level of affection they show for Kevin is wonderful. Animals can feel and express love too and I wish humanity treated them like Kevin does. It would be a sin against nature for these cats to go extinct!

I had told a friend of mine just yesterday that I wish I could pet a Lion or a Tiger. My friend and I went to a big zoo in September 2019. And it was a thrill of a lifetime to see Tigers and a Lion in person. I got some nice pictures. No fence. Just natural barriers. Oh, and the Lion roared as it walked. It was a thrill! Got that on video. Trying to get back to that zoo as a Lion Pride is there with 3 cubs about 9 months old.

Just beautiful I love to watch the part at the end when Kev is sitting in the shade with his lions, almost spiritual, so special could watch for hours in fasvination the way they accept key and groom him. The information you share about these lions that you know so well is just fascinating. I love when you take them for a walk. They remind me of excited kids when they pile into your truck. Then when they settle down with you and show their affection for you, I'm in awe. Bobcat is beautiful! His mane is gorgeous! Yes he walks casually by them but doesn't stop to pet or overly photograph them. They are used to him. He is aware of the boundaries with these animals.
That is what I love about Gabby. Bobcat is just a Handsome Lion. Hugs and kisses Bobcat. Look at Bobcat's paw...it is larger than Kevin's hand. Wow!!
Bobcat is so handsome and he ate so much of what seemed to look like poop in the first part then lemongrass in the second part so that really made him "high" so he could chill with Kevin at the end. And Gabby was just being Gabby and Kevin was always on the watch for one of her surprise love tackles. Great video! Thanks Kevin
You may he concentrating on speaking about Bobcat, but you are still having to keep a sharp eye out for Gabby; she knows exactly how to keep attention on her!

Actually he looks over his shoulder periodically when on enrichment walks with any of them, not just Gabby. I think the walks are out in "no man's land" and he's keeping aware of any animal that may come in the vicinity. Please correct me if I am wrong.
These video's make my morning. I love watching how Kevin interacts with the animals and how they interact with him, but I also love watching their walks. It's calming.
