I always love to see when the mother runs to make sure the father isnt doing anything too aggressive when asserting himself as king over his cubs. Her calmness proves that the father isnt being overly aggressive towards the cubs in his assertion of dominance as king

The male lion shown in this video has no competition from other male lions. There is just one adult male lion, one adult female lion and few cubs of varying ages. That's it. A lion pride is much more diverse and much larger with lots of lion families, competition for territory, natural hunting behaviour by lionesses and so on. This video shows one lion family surviving in a zoo and not an entire lion pride living their lives in their natural habitat. First, see the video properly.

It's unbelievable how healthy these lions look. You hardly ever see lions and cubs this big and healthy in the wild when they have to struggle to survive. The people who are against captivity have no idea the nice life these lions have compared to being in the wild.
true but wild is where they belong. If you keep them captive for millennia, evolution will fuq everything up. Injured or disabled animals in captivity is fine. But healthy, fully capable ones in captivity is wrong against nature.
