I heard a while ago, that was an intention. But, the game failed so spectacularly they had to dial back a lot of content. Deathstroke was gonna have his own season followed by another season where the League returned. There are many voice lines in the data files that show this as an intention. But, due to lack of sales and interest, they had to rush to end the game. So, the Deathstroke season and the final season got chopped together. @@randomoreoaddictor6712 yeah. Idk. Stefton Hill told everyone back in 2015 their next game was gonna be a third person shooter. I always find these "bad guy tries to conquer the multiverse" inherently flawed because the multiverse is inherently unconquerable. This is because as soon as the bad guy decides to conquer the multiverse they create an entire duplicate variation branch of the multiverse where they decided not to conquer the multiverse. Even if they can invade other universes, that just creates variations where they didn't invade. Then there's the variations where, at infinite points for infinite reasons, the conquering failed or it succeeded then they undid it for an infinite number of reasons. At best they can conquer the universes where it's possible to conquer the multiverse but that feels like a cop-out hollow victory, like saying you conquered America but you only actually conquered Alaska. And then there all the parts of the multiverse completely divergent from the prime multiverse like other fictional property's multiverses or our own real life multiverse. In short conquering the multiverse is a goal doomed at inception.
Tell me about it. The worst part is that the justifications aren't even solid. Like, the Flash's finger grew back. Uh, duh? He's a Speedster, they have healing factors. Superman's immune to green kryptonite? That could just be a modification Braniac made to his body, it's not clear foreshadowing he's a clone. Clear foreshadowing would be the clones acting differently or not possessing information the real hero did, but Clone!Flash acts identically to the real Flash, so what's the point?
@@spartanc173 there actually was a moment where "clone" Flash broke away from mind control to tell Diana that she has to kill him to save the world. @@malcolm4737 Because if Braniac had an army of Supermen and Flashes, or hell, even just an army of Flashes, the game would be OVER. How do you fight something like that? Anti-Speed-Force technology? Because sooner or later, it won't work. Braniac is meant to be the smartest person in the universe, but his invasion of Earth is complete shit because the writers couldn't think of... I mean, they just couldn't think. I can't think of a better word to describe it than that.
@spartanc173 speaking of this invasion they never said why branaic never went to any other planet instead or how he access the multiverse infact it would had made more sense if each of the brains used different universes of the league to take over

This game should have been about Batman fighting against his own mind control and then trying to save the mind controlled league with the choice to either kill or save them.
Eh... Look, if fuckin' Superman can't resist the mind control, Batman stands no chance. I get that he's resisted Scarecrow's fear gas, but Braniac is literally on a different level to him.

But we can rest now and not think about this game again. And remember Kevin Conroy( hopefully Roger Craig can do more early Arkham days(hopefully in game consoles again)
It's not that they were "replaced by clones all along", you're treating this game as if it's canon. In a few years from now it won't be canon anymore, and none of this will have ever happened

@lolbitandftfoxysayhello6262 yeah but when the fans are like 5% of the Arkham fanbase, he can generalize and say they had next to no support, because they really didn't. The game died this quick because of that lack of support.
It's actually the opposite, they were never intending to clone the league at all and wonder woman was the only one who got an honourable death and was actually respected in the game, but they realised how much fans hated the Justice league dying in the most ridiculous way possible so they came up with the "Clone" card to bail themselves out and wonder woman ironically ended up having the worst fate, honestly couldn't write this shit 😭😭😭🙏🙏

Sefton Hill left and the Arkham games is his vision that ended with Knight. We should get a completely new Batman game with alot more potential, new ideas and preferably not from rocksteady after this mess
Between this destroying Arkham’s legacy and Shadow, which was made by a different studio, rebuilding it, I doubt Rocksteady’s gonna be allowed near the franchise anymore
It’s weak as fuck to bring the whole league back and have them teaming up with the suicide squad in a comic and no cutscenes and have these not be the missions.
Batman and most of the Justice League are alive. Brainiac has been dealt with at last. The Squad don't bring the League back to Waller and they all escape from her clutches. It is, for the most part, a happy ending. Rest in peace, Wonder Woman.
The game's final story... Can't even get the high quality 3D cutscene with everyone's voice acting... just the usual cheap comic book motion with Harley's yapping... What an ending, Rocksteady... What an ending.
Wonder Woman can’t really ever die permanently. So long as Zeus is alive and the Amazons or Hippolyta sculpt her out of magic clay again. If there ever is another Arkhamverse game, expect that to be the way she returns. She’s actually one of the most overpowered leaguers there is. I just wish this game would have been about the league.

I still refuse to believe the clone thing was planned from the start. Giving the "clone" Batman death an Arkham motif and having it be a bit more dramatic than the other League deaths felt intentional. The course correcting for this game was insane. If it SOMEHOW was actually the end goal, they had a very bizarre way of getting there. EDIT: And giving the "they were all actually clones" thing in some slideshow as opposed to a cutscene or anything (whatever happened to those unused lines Kevin recorded??) and it's just over now is so deflating. But hey that's SSKTJL for ya
Great, now can we get an actual justice league game where we play as the good guys and they act like actual heroes? Y’know, like we have been asking for years…
It's just wild to me that like.. people were really interested to see the justice league in the arkhamverse. people wanted a superman game!! and so ofc they.. blew metropolis to hell. and killed wonder woman. and also killed robin, just to really salt the earth. and even once the game was out, they waited until the 4th new character to add someone that people were actually interested in and would have wanted to see. like why was mr. freeze here in any form?? why was deadshot's daughter so high in the list of priorities?? such a baffling string of decisions and mismanagement. no doubt in my mind that in a few years, people will have forgotten this game ever came out at all. very unfortunate outcome, tragic to see.
Wow so they really just threw that together at the last minute didn't they? It all just boiled down to "lol just kidding. Justice League is fine....please stop being mad....they are all fine....except Wonder Woman...but everyone else is totally fine. Are we all better now?"
What a mess of a year for rocksteady. Even with them coming back, batman triumphantly punching Braniac, they still murdered THOUSANDS of people. Rocksteady’s Justice League is such a disappointment
@@KaizerSozaye 100%. I think with the team they had in 2015, they could have pulled off a great Justice League game.
Wow, so Wonder Woman just did nothing but watch clones get killed and then died. This story has more holes than a sponge.
