I've bought myself today , the Marshall Major IV , out of scrapmarket ,for 20 Euros , they were in mint condition, as unused, and the vendor said they cannot be started for BT, but they work on cable. After dissasembling , I've noticed one joystick pin being green, full off cupper oxide. I've resoldered the joystick , and now it works like a charm. Carry big attention on pushing back the joystick board on place, as it will tend to tension the joystick on his board. For those whom might be interesed , the joystick is a MICRO-JOY-A brand NINIGI type, wich will cost 0.94 GBP .
hello, I have a problem With Marshall major 4, When I have it connected to the power source, it turns on and when I don't, I can't turn it on, can you help me?
@@TechscrewDIY of course, the only connection between the button and the motherboard that does not give a signal is the next. The voltage is present in the battery and on the motherboard but the LEDs don't light up even if connected to the charging cable and I can't turn on the headphones
@@gabrielechiapperino3467 strange, you can try unsoldering the wires on both sides and then test them with a multimeter. But you have to remember where to solder them back. Or just install new wire - th-cam.com/video/uuyne0sAygo/w-d-xo.html
I ripped the joystick out and replaced it by inserting a "Mini Round Momentary Push Button" directly on to the board with a couple of wires. There are two test pads, that you can solder the wires to. Of course you'll lose volume up/down and track next/prev... but personally I found those options annoying anyway :-D
would you mind telling me where you ordered yours? i have to replace my button too and can't find the joystick either but i don't mind losing the functions i just want my bluetooth back :) @@timusius
@@TechscrewDIYwhere in Europe? I'm in Germany, have the same problem and Marshall won't help as the warranty has expired. They also don't have licensed repair shops where the headphones could be fixed.

Hi, bluetooth has stopped working on my Marshall Monitors. Do you know where I can find a spare part or how to fix them?
first check all wires with multimeter.

Hello! How about marshall major 4 joystick replacement? There is no information on whole internet😧
open headphones and check wires with multimeter.

@@oleksandrderkach9006 It's a standard electronic item. Simply google for "PBS-110" and you will find plenty of places to buy them.

"Easy FIX". Oh yeah, 'cause everyone have soldering tools at home..
soldering kit cost around $10, and how much cost new Marshall headphones ?
This is supposed to be an easy fix???
it's really easy if you have two hands and a head.
Could I pay you to fix my on/off button??? They are 3 months old and can’t find anywhere to fix them and don’t have my receipt 🥲🥲🥲
I am live in Europe, shipping both way will be too expensive.
