Pro Tip: Put the ear pads back on AFTER putting on the heat shrink tubing or risk burning/distorting the rubber covering of the earpads.

I didn't understand the part about the white cable, what is it that is done with that part? I have the 4-polarity cable, I understood to make the bridge with the mic to ground, but what is it done with the white cable? the mic +

What version of HyperX Cloud Stinger is this? It has a mesh fabric headband and a volume wheel.
Both the Cloud Stinger S and Cloud Stinger have leatherette headband and a volume slider.
I don't remember, but the principle of this instruction can be used for any Stinger headphones.
nice video dude. Do you know how to open soundcard 7.1? old jack broke the half inside and i need to remove it.
it is probably glued and will need to be carefully pried open
Maybe you could grab a toothpick or half sharpened pencil and super-glue it to the end of the jack to pull it out?

why do you need it ? hide ir just by flipping it vertically against the head Make detachable mic for stinger is too complicated, there's a mic MUTE button makes everything complicated.
@@TechscrewDIY Sorry I forgot about this. But My mic died. I guess the tinny driver inside the mic is dead. Now that i think about it. I could probably just buy a mic and remove the driver and solder it on my mic.
@@TechscrewDIY There is also one more solution.Where the flip is little bit above the flip, the rubber actually cracked. I could cut it there and just solder the socket on it. It would be above the mute switch rotation. I guess would still have the function for mute when i flip it vertically ? Since i wouldnt touch that mechanism. If you get what im saying. Since its just 2 wires positive and negative ? Thats what i see from the pictures. I dont have any HD pictures. But on the pcb of the headset it says mic_gnd and mic+ I just need 3.5mm female 2 pole pin jack
I have a hyperx cloud stinger but it is a little different than this and i am confuse at the jumper part.
do i jump solder the copper to it place and then jump it with the green?
if your replacement cable dont have 5 wires, then the jumper is needed to connect speaker ground with mic ground.
I stretched them for 8 years now the wire is fucked up and the right earphone only works when i hold the wire lol but for like 50$ USD they 100% did their job just bought the Cloud core HyperX wireless this time at the same price of 50$ USD think it
