    absolute dream to have the 400 f2.8. Dont know if ill ever be able to afford it but hopefully one day ill get lucky

    So how close are you actually allowed to be to lions ?

      It depends on the lions, we approach at a distance and based on their behavior will reach a comfortable position. If the animals are relaxed, they will visibly show signs of their mood. If they get up and come towards us, it's an indication that they are chilled, curious, and don't mind our presence. At any point if there are visual cues in their body language that they are not happy, we make a plan to move or leave entirely to not disturb them further. Rarely is it ever the case where we encounter issues with wildlife if there is respect established from the get-go.
