- Found this at the scrapyard a while ago, and thought it was time I do it. It so happens to be a product that our sponsor keeps stock of, I had a lot of fun bringing this one back to life, and it works pretty well too!

Beautiful restoration job you did restoring that oil pump. It not only works like a charm but it also looks much better as well. Excellent work.
Hanging out with you and sipping a nice cup of French pressed coffee.
Hope you enjoyed the video as much as the French pressed coffee?
@@AJRestoration most definitely
Dang, that's a great idea. I'll be right back.
Something different, never seen one taken apart before.just keep doing what you do best.good little video.be safe 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Its such a simple design, not a lot can go wrong here haha. Thank you for the comment buddy!😎👍
Nice job as always 👏👏
Amazing work, jealous of your super clean sand blaster. :)
Looks like it had a run-in with water before you rescued it from its trip to the scrapheap. Nicely done. 👍
Absolutely, I think the previous owner pumped water and let it sit. It got rust seized and they junked it. And that's where I got it at the metal recycling yard.
Very nice restoration. And at the end the pump is working as new ! Congrats !😊
I was surprised at how smooth it worked.
Good job AJ beautiful restoration well done
@@vinceianni4026 Thank you buddy!
Nice looking pump for pumping oil out of A 5 pail to a 55 gallon drum or pumping diesel fuel and gasoline
You could use Permatex Gasket Maker instead of the paper.
That is a good idea!
It looked like a smiley Lego head!!!! 😂😂😂
That is what I thought when I sandblasted it, was pretty damn cool
Well done 😊
Absolutely diletan
Show 🎉🎉🎉
mas super videa libi se mi ze je slyset i ten ambientni zvuk
Does Adendorff own MacAfric or vice versa? For that matter, is MacAfric related to Mac Tools in the USA? Beautiful restoration, is there something that's supposed to go on the end of the metal tube, so pumping isn't as messy?
Mac MacAfric is Adendorff's brand. I am not sure if its related to Mac tools in USA.
I think a rubber hose can be fitted over the outlet to make the spilling better, I just could not keep it still enough for the small inlet of the container.
what happened to the oil seal
This brings back memories of refuelling earth moving machines on a butter cold mornings.
Mistype. bitter
I can imagine that must have been bad with the cold mornings!
Ants were all, "yoooooo!!!! WTF!" 😅
Like "NOOOOOOOOO" haha
Looks like an Lego head!
Absolutely haha
13:52 you can use a bearing ball to make the holes on the paper, just put it in place and give a little hit with the hammer
Damn that's some good advice, thank you Ill remember that.
Where did get the seal ?
You could put the ants outside your house instead of taking them by the vacuum.
How did you clean the interior of that pipe and the rotor?
Sandblasted the hell out of it.
