No, that's actually really dangerous. When driving backwards, the wheels of the car that turn are in the back, and that makes it really unstable; even the slightest adjustment of the wheel at high speed can cause it to roll.

When you get a Tesla model S the 0-60 in 4.3 seconds edition, you end up more than what you’d pay for a comparable car at BMW. Electric cars are a great concept,but up to a certain point. Some of this it boils down to whether you’re in it for the fuel economy or that of performance. In the end when you buy a Tesla you’re also paying for the brand, and if you’re looking for prestigious branding then it would cost you more to own a Tesla Model S than it would cost to own a BMW 6 series. With breakthroughs in nanotechnology being utilized in batteries soon cars like the Model S would cost less and outpace all of its competitors. Till that time, unfortunately gas reigns in as the most cost effective means of owning a luxury vehicle.

Jesse Collins I’m sure the new Tesla’s Roadster can beat this Lambo but at what price? Meaning we would have to compare its specs to that of a car of the same cost.Also it’s not out till 2020,so we can’t really go by what Tesla said until we get a production car’s real world specs.
