    Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! It's 2025 so it's time to leave the old group name behind. You can now find our community on Facebook as Ginell's Crochet Therapy. That way it matches the channel and blog name. I have also added top contributor shout outs to the banner on the FB group. Come check it out! Maybe your future projects will be featured in the months to come. Thanks for participating in this journey with me.

    I love the fact that you use measurements instead of stitch counts. For the same reasons that you stated we don’t all crochet the same and this way I know it will fit whoever I’m making it for.

    Thank you! for a very good explanation, my first Tunisian in the round and did pretty good following your instruction, it took me a while to catch on but i did it and made two. Looking forward to make a cowl to match.

      Hi, yes eventually I will upload more videos. I recently moved to a new state where we have a small farm and that keeps me so busy. My husband and I are about to retire and start traveling so the logistics of creating crochet videos while traveling may be challenging but I plan to figure it out. Meanwhile, there are over 100 videos currently on my channel so I am hoping that will keep y'all occupied while I get used to my new normal 😊

    What a beautiful project! I love it in all the color combos you described and showed. Thanks for the detailed tutorial and for all the extra effort in getting a written pattern made for us, it's really appreciated Ginell!

    I’ve been reviewing this tutorial to plan my project! I now have my Denice connecting hooks w cables. I guess I can go all the way around if there’s enough space between the hooks?

    • @GinellCooper
      @GinellCooper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes if you connect two hooks with one of the longer cords or use the connector to put two cords together, it should work great.

    How to do with 1 sided needle?

    • @GinellCooper
      @GinellCooper  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As far as I know, you can't do it in the round with a one sided hook, but you can instead just make a flat rectangle just going back and forth with a one sided hook and then sew it together. It will have a seam but if you do a mattress stitch it should be pretty hidden.

      I'm not sure, this project was done a few years ago. It may show in the video. I know it was only one skein of each color, I just don't remember how much was left over

  • @heatherking9224

    I must be missing something. And to be fair this is my first tunision project. How are you joining the first rounds? I was at the first part where you add the honeycomb shape and realized none of my stitches were lined up. I'm 100% sure it's me.

    • @GinellCooper
      @GinellCooper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Okay give me a second to rewatch the video. I made quite a few videos back and can't remember the exact details but we'll figure it out together. I'm thinking there is no join, and making sure the honeycomb is offset has to do with the number of stitches being uneven but let me double check that and I'll get right back to you. 🧡

    • @heatherking9224
      @heatherking9224 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GinellCooper ok thank you so much. I cant remember that happening right after you do the first round of the fake tunisian or the first row

    • @GinellCooper
      @GinellCooper  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@heatherking9224 okay I'm watching it now but I can already tell that it is in the row of single crochets you do before you start the fake knit stitch with the Tunisian hook. All you need to do is make sure it's an odd number of stitches. Then when you get to the smock stitch, you'll be all set. When you get done with the first row of the smock stitch and you are starting the second row, you don't join them you just continue around in a spiral up. If your stitches are an odd number, the honeycombs should be offset. Even I mess it up in the video, so I show you how to fix it without having to undo it all. Let me know if that helps or not so we concur this project 😁
