I've been learnng Tunisian crochet by watching your videos and it's like learning with a friend. I look forward to settling down in an evening with my hooks and yarn for one of our sessions. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge and making it so easy and a pleasure x
I must say that I seen your tutorial on turnisan crochet and found them in sightful as well as enjoyable to watch. There is joy in your voice which I noticed that listening to other tutorials is lacking. You are very inspiring.
I just found you tonight and I'm working my way , ALL the way through each video. I don't normally watch crochet tutorials all the way through because I get bored so easily. Not yours! You annunciate properly and your speed is great! I have recommended you to a family member who asked me to teach them, but I feel you are much better. Thank you for your easygoing learning techniques. You are doing fantastic!!
You really are amazing at teaching, and camera work is flawless. Thanks for being so awesome. You don't repeat yourself unnecessarily, you point to other vids on skills that you've already covered (a pet peeve of mine), your instructions are clear and to the point. Thanks for being awesome!
You make it so easy to get the hang of this! I learned how to crochet when I was 10 and after not being able to understand how to do a double stitch, I GAVE UP! But picking this back up again has been so smooth with your help! I truly appreciate you and I am about to spam your account with likes and comments!!!!! 🩵🩵🩵
I have been crocheting for 50 years and never come across this stitch (I know where have I been ). I love this stitch and have now ordered a long hook and will be making a blanket throw for my son and daughter-in=law for Christmas. This tutorial is excellent and so glad I fouind it. Well done. Love her voice
The camera makes it look like UT Longhorn burnt orange! Your tutorials are some of the most clear and detailed I've watched on TH-cam! Most kind of mumble or don't do many repeats to make sure we get it, but you do and it's helped me so much! I taught myself how to knit by watching TH-cam, but got tired of how long it took and how none of my projects looked anywhere NEAR the photos no matter what I did, so I switched to Tunisian and am doing my very first TSS blanket. My trial TKS and TPS look so much cleaner than the pure knit and purl stitches did I'm never going back!
I also want to add, u teach so well. You're very relaxed & don't talk fast or try to rush thru it, your very thorough in explaining what to do, showing everything so we understand. Thank you for u sharing ❤.
You are amazing! Im a swedish woman struggling with concentrationproblems due to chronic pain so I have a difficulties understanding instructions but you I understand, I never write comments and I dont use social media but I really wanted you to hear this so thank you again!
I enjoy knitting and crochet and am just trying my hand at Tunisian Crochet, my beloved Mother in law has done amazing blankets for years with images in them. I have been admiring the Turkish room slippers, (Patik I think is what the word for slipper is) and they have such beautiful images in them.
I've been crocheting for 40 years, but only recently discovered Tunisian crochet. I'm in love with it! I've watched several videos by various people, but your's are by far the best. Thank you for being such a great instructor! Looking forward to learning through your videos!
I want to thank you for taking the time to post your video on how to do color changes for tunisian crochet. I have started and re-started a tunisian blanket project several times because I just could not understand how to change colors. Your directions are crystal clear! Thank you!!
Thank you so much! Your instructions are so clear and concise and your camera really shows everything so I can clearly understand what you're saying. Great vids on Tunisian!!
I love, love, love you! I have been crocheting graphgans, and I HATE the jagged lines/edges. I was loosing interest because of the disappointingly unclean lines, well you just sparked a new flame. I will post my Monopoly Blanket as soon as it is complete. Thank you, your instructions were clear!!
You are my go to crochet instructor. I have been crocheting on an off for years. Looked at your beginning Tunisian video years ago and was overjoyed. Bought corded hooks, bamboo hooks, and metal. You are truly the best most calming voice to learn. I don't ever have to speed up or skip in your video. Love the new book that is why I'm back for refressher.
I have never seen a video instructor who makes this crochet technique as easy-as you do---I was able to teach tunisian crochet to our ladies fellowship meeting this past saturday--It is so much easier to teach than regular crochet--Those who were brave enough to give it a try--loved it--thanks for all your wonderful teaching videos--
I'm just now learning tunisian crochet after crocheting for 10 years. I've been loving your videos and how you show and explain everything 🤩🤩 Thank you!!
Thanks for creating these easy to follow tutorials for Tunision Crochet. My knitting/crochet group just became interested in doing this style of crochet. We are trying out samples of different stitches in 8 inch blocks to be sewn together later for charity items. The gals have trouble remembering the instructions once at home. I will tell them about your wonderful videos so they will have them to watch between group meetings. Well done and easy to follow video instructions, as yours are, are a rare and wonderful find. Several of the gals in this group have only knitted, never picked up crochet, and are delighted to learn a new crochet technique.
Thank You! I did that transition 3 times before I realized what I was doing wrong and all you had to say was last two and I shook my head because it was so simple. I love your videos.
What I love most about your videos is that you always use amazing colors. You open our eyes to a world of colors that is normally closed to us when we watch videos on other channels. You are a wonderful teacher! Thank you for your time and your inspiration!
I have been searching for a way to make color changes carried up a row stay tight and your video is the first I've found that actually fixes the problem! (The part starting just before the 12th minute) Thank you so much! Everybody else just says to make sure the tension is correct but I tried the tension every which way to no avail. The "locking" of the color being dropped with the color being picked up is perfect and saved me from giving up on a project.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I subscribed, liked and saved this video for future reference! I thought I was already subscribed because I have enjoyed your beginner's Tunisian crochet tutorials and was surprised to see I wasn't, not sure what happened but definitely subscribed now. You are such a blessing to newbies like me!
Good morning , love ur videos , I enjoy how you explain everything. I'm a croche beginner and just listening to you makes my learning easier. Thank you
You get all the likes. I am so stoked to try these things out just bought two new patterns. Gonna make that ear wrap for my bf, we live in Finland where it gets to be about -22F here sometimes during the winter. So this is going to be extra cozy knitted in wool!
Hi, I have just found your channel and followed your basic tutorial and have now done this one. I am going on to do the tutorial where you show different stitches, these tutorials are so informative and easy to follow, thank you.x
Thank you, Toni. I feel like you're a patient friend. Your videos take the mystery and difficulty out of crochet and turn it into a relaxing, fun hobby for those of us who are not crocheting professionally. I truly admire your skills and videography! I added ribbing to a waist on a pair of baby pants from your video on adding ribbing to a baby cap. They turned out amazing! Your gorgeous and I love your smile!
Great great great videos! I appreciate a lot the "tricks" that you suggest (like "lock the colors" here)! I've rarely found them in other videos, so: thank you so much!!
As i had many colours of yarn leftover from my earlier projects,i found this video very interesting, with simple instructions that were easy to follow.Thank you.Stay blessed.
Hi Tony I seen your video on TH-cam of Tunisian crochet I watched your video I've watched him more than once so I tried the Tunisian crochet stitching I really like it so I found one of your other videos of Tunisian crochet of changing colors with the yarn I really like your show on TH-cam I like to learn more about your TH-cam videos cuz I really easy and simple to learn than others.
Thank you...this was very helpful and a good learn....my sister bought your book...beginners Tunisian for me....Christmas gift... love it beautifully patt and will be a good learn...thanks....MERRY CHRISTMAS
I love your videos! I am new to all crochet and found your videos. I am now completely hooked!!! Thank you for your videos. As others have said, you are amazing
I absolutely love your videos! You explain everything so well and make it fun to watch! I've learned so much from you and look forward to seeing more tutorials from you!
I love your videos, you explain everything very well. I've been never tried Tunisian crochet before. In the color change, when your going the to the left with your color is it possible to do your return pass in a different color, and if so does that make the backside of the blanket a different color. I hope that made sense. Thank you for your time and sharing your videos.
Hi Toni! Thank you for this video! How do you go about cutting your yarn at the end to change rows rather than carrying the yarn and creating a float without worrying about the piece unraveling?
I love this video, as was reminded to come back to after having just watched your guest appearance on Marly Bird's recent video. Anyways, I have been doing mid-row color changes and even with the locking the yarn it was looser than I wanted. However, if instead of the Tss, you do a modified Tss, the color changes seem to be a lot crisper (more like what you show which I was struggling to get with plain Tss)
I enjoy your tutorials. They are the best and i am learning this great stitch. I need HELP though.... i am making the gingham baby blanket but the string that is connecting from color to color break is unruly and a hazard for baby toes. I can’t imagine snipping them and then knitting them without ruining the smooth knit.
Hi there, thank you for your wonderful tutorials. I've been crocheting for years, but only doing tunisian crochet a few weeks now and your videos have really helped me. Can I request a tutorial on how to frog a project? The reason I resisted tunisian crochet for so long is because I liked traditional crochet because I could frog it back one stitch at a time when I'd made a mistake. Please help! Is it even possible to frog a tunisian crochet project?
Would really love to know how you finish this. What do you do with the various color ends when you're done? How to do weave in the yarn? I couldn't find a video of yours that shows what to do to finish the project, but maybe I'm missing it?
I absolutely love the 2nd technique with the color change. I do have a question, what hook size do you recommend for a 4ply yarn? I have heard that you always want to go up 2/3 hook sizes than recommended on the label with Tunisian stitches 💜
Thank you~ If you're doing the lamia wrap, does it matter that there is honeycomb and simple stitch? Would you do it the same way to make the border in solid and the simple stitch in variegated?
Just wondering how would you get nice and even selvedge ends? Basic crochet maybe?! I’ll check on TH-cam search to get answers, cuz I noticed in the comment section that you don’t answer questions! 🤔
I just found you yesterday and have devouring your Tunisian crochet videos. I haven't done tunisian since I was a teenager. I only did the simple stitch back then. I've done some knitting since then and my question is can you weave in the ends as you're working in tunisian crochet like you can in knitting and normal crochet? Also, is there away to carry your color B up along the edge of your project till you need it again like in knitting? Also, can you crochet a border around tunsian crochet like when you make an afghan? Sorry I'm asking so many questions.
I've been learnng Tunisian crochet by watching your videos and it's like learning with a friend. I look forward to settling down in an evening with my hooks and yarn for one of our sessions. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge and making it so easy and a pleasure x

Great tip - crossing yarns to eliminate holes!!
Thank you for the tutorial. You were so clear and easy to follow, at a great pace. Thank you for sharing. ♥
Hi Toni! Thank you for this video! How do you go about cutting your yarn at the end to change rows rather than carrying the yarn and creating a float without worrying about the piece unraveling?
The way you hold the new color really helps me. I struggle with that.
Thanks so much for this tutorial! So appreciated.
You are an excellent instructor!

I’m curious about the back of the project where the float stitches are in the middle. Very interesting work, looking forward to trying it.
fantastic, clear and concise video. please do more tutorials!
Thanks for the great tutorials!
💕Thank you! Awesome teacher!💕
Such a great video! Getting ready to do my first Tunisian project. This video was so helpful and gives me confidence to tackle something new. :-)
Can you please make a video showing how to do increases and decreases in different tunisian stitches, especially this one?
I enjoy your tutorials. They are the best and i am learning this great stitch.
