Same. People would rush to lvl 70 just to buy it. Hell people would steal it from the military base too. Only thing low level people had was C4 and even then it was kinda useless. Good times

I wouldn't ditch the Stromberg yet. I haven't seen many Toreadores in Online, I think most people think its exactly like the Stromberg but without the trade price.

a good team hunter can still counter a mk2 "easy" and is skillful... but its annoying since its such a small fast target. And since skill isnt the gta communities strenght, i see mostly only friends using the hunter correctly. Only sometimes used by noobs/casuals, getting shot down in most cases... luckily, jets with the meme cannons are still a easy counter to the mk2s.

When the OG Heists were added, I saved up for a Hydra. Air combat was no longer ruled by Buzzards or stolen Lazers. However, the Armored Kuruma was the best thing in those days. No one wanted to pay insurance and end up in bad sport, so you had a car that you could drive without getting killed.
@@danielmuntean9688 lol even a stromberg cant blow me up when i use the mk2. I always destroy strombergs. The only vehicle in the game that can stop the mk2, is the ruiner 2000 ONLY if they launch fully loaded. That blocks the missle lock-on which makes it impossible to blow the ruiner up.

I use the Deluxo to this day. It's one of my favorite vehicles to use for a majority of gunrunning resupply missions. I prefer it over the thought of the oppressor mk2 because I can have a passenger, and people don't immediately look at me as hostile the moment they see me on the map. Plus the style points it gets from me for literally being a flying DeLorean lookalike. As a huge back to the future fan, this car isn't getting sold any time soon
It's my primary as well. Sure it's slow but I would rather cruise around with my friends in the car then speed around on my lonely Jet bike. Also nice bonus that it counts as a land vehicle for the missions and challenges that don't allow flying vehicles.
In my opinion it's the best vehicle there's so many times when a jet or oppressor MK2 griefer have tried to kill me and their missile completely misses and I can kill them easily

Sadly the one added in the doomsday heist is better in everyway essentially, due to the mines, grenades, and machine guns the passengers could use. However the rhino with a cargo bob not only is great at moving it. But it can fly and shoot a lot of targets
The oppressor is definitely what ruined Gta, Mk1 was alright Mk 2 would’ve been fine without the missiles, and it could’ve just had it’s slow explosive round option
It has insane missiles and 2 seats and you can get out while over water it’s also good for dodging missiles also it’s nostalgic and sounds great also looks great too
I most recently just unlocked the mk2 ammo types and doing some personal testing, 90% of the ammo is useless. The only one I recommend is explosive shotgun cause the sniper can't 1shot anymore and the generic mk2 sniper can 1shot players and has more ammo
Zentorno will always have a special space for my heart. 5-6 years ago me and my friends would hop on to gta after school and played stuntraces for hours. I miss those days.
I still use the Zentorno... It looks nice. Also I remember how I used to cheese my way into wining over 100 races or something to unlock car upgrades. Yeah. Haven’t played in 4 years. I still remember the day when the Buzzard was the most powerful vehicle. Now I return to the game and there are orbital cannons, flying motorcycles with rockets. Like wtf?
Buzzard is still a really good vehicle, you can call it in trough CEO and spawns right infront of you. I'm an ace with it and is deadly against ground targets, i'm not sure if you know but they nerfed the hitbox on the Buzzard and it's able to dodge homing missiles.

Again, I mentioned it was deadly at ground if you know how to use it, miniguns will take a while to shoot a pilot because they take aim, homing launcher missiles can easily be dodged and, RPG's take a lot of precision depending on your altitude. You are almost invincible, and close to the power of a tank, you just have to learn how to fly it. Why people be hating on the Mk II, it’s much more reliable and it’s easier to use/more effective, the Mk I is more fun, but if u prefer the Mk I then just use it, who cares what others choose
Amount of times I have been griefed by people flying around with OPressors Mk 2 makes the game unplayable sometimes. I generally end playing in passive mode now.
I usually activate fully loaded if i see agressive opressors. Its a vip work mission that requires you to have ruiner 2000 vehicle for 4.2-5.7 mil. When you start fully loaded you get an op ruiner that cant be locked on with missiles, can witstand a shit ton of rockets, also you have a parachute and a jump boost which normal ruiner has anyways. The mission lasts for 20 minutes in which you basically become unkillable and the opressor is a joke since you have op missiles aswell. The only disadvantage is that you can get shot out of it by a rifle. There is a cooldown of 1 hour but you can avoid it by restarting the game. So i guess that is the only good counter to opressors these days

Austin A Facts... I stopped playing after ill gotten gains 2, after which all DLC would not support PS3/Xbox. I had 57 days played in summer 2015 at level 315 or so... I played once every few months or so and just got overwhelmed with how behind I was after i got a PS4. Only recently did I decide to try to catch up, after 4 years I only accumulated 2 days played total and am now level 355. Damn I miss the classic GTA online.

Rockstar really has a very, very bad strategy at releasing these stuff. It's all centered on milkin the cash cow as much as possible. * Homing Launcher was released to "stop jet griefers" BUT it proved useless against it, and killed Buzzard/Savage pro piloting in the process (Cuz there were no countermeasures back then) * Explosive bullets was also released to "stop jet Griefers" BUT it killed ground PVP (while combined with/without BST) instead. * Just as we thought Oppressor MK1 was the last nail on the coffin, MK2 basically f**ked both ground & sky PVP while threatening all unarmored vehicle drivers. It forced GTAonline to become a total warzone and push the casual players out. Just think of the last time you drove a non-weaponized or unarmored vehicle without getting blown up for more than 3-4 minutes. Yeah.
It's gta, What do you expect? This isn't carebears, There's gonna be PVP in a PVP focused game. Why do you think the game tells you to destroy cargo or kill people with bounties or kill people who are aggerisive?
AOCLIVE EXACTLY. Free aim lobbies do not have these try hard oppressors or explosive bullets shooting at you, they’re almost always pretty chill. It’s the assisted aim lobbies that tryhards claim they’re good and when they get mad they use explosives bullets ex.
People also prefer the mk2 because you don't have to do research for the missles unlike the mk1 you can just get passed the paywalls and buy the missles

The Oppressor is hands down my favorite vehicle in the game. If I need to get into tighter areas I just use my Deluxo. I don‘t even want to own an Oppressor Mk II
Its because it's grippy and pretty fast on city environments, you get the "bulletproof" rear but the T20 is the only car that is faster than the zentorno, besides both are fast enough to outrun Missiles going In a straight line, pretty useful when a tryhard is out for kills, I have yet to find a way to counter the savage tho, that explosive cannon is deadly.
@@glowing6635 Did I say that it can? If you time the jump and boost JUST before the rocket is about to hit you, it will hit the ground and you will kill the Mk II. It just requires a lot of skill and practise, but it is possible defending tool against it.
I use my Sparrow all the time. It can be upgraded to be more durable than the buzzard, makes crate/cargo missions on the ocean a cinch, and the infinite lock-on rocket spam is so good for clearing hostile AI from an area. However, using it effectively for grinding requires map knowledge of spawn points, and wise property purchases that have said spawn points nearby.

I use the oppressor, deluxo and oppressor mk2 equally, but recently I’ve found myself using the mk2 more because of the feature in the game where you regen passively on your most ridden bike, I might start using the oppressor mk1 again because its fun to use and I’ll stand out in lobbies filled with everyone pretending to be in quidditch on their broomsticks.

i use sea sparrow regularly because sometimes my friends drip into the sea or i have to pick up air cargo dropped into the sea, and it is a superior war machine salvage dive in an air transport mission while playing as a solo. in addition, it is compact in size so it can land anywhere, unlike larger combat helicopters.

Sadly the one added in the doomsday heist is better in everyway essentially, due to the mines, grenades, and machine guns the passengers could use. However the rhino with a cargo bob not only is great at moving it. But it can fly and shoot a lot of targets

I most recently just unlocked the mk2 ammo types and doing some personal testing, 90% of the ammo is useless. The only one I recommend is explosive shotgun cause the sniper can't 1shot anymore and the generic mk2 sniper can 1shot players and has more ammo

Buzzard is still a really good vehicle, you can call it in trough CEO and spawns right infront of you. I'm an ace with it and is deadly against ground targets, i'm not sure if you know but they nerfed the hitbox on the Buzzard and it's able to dodge homing missiles.

Again, I mentioned it was deadly at ground if you know how to use it, miniguns will take a while to shoot a pilot because they take aim, homing launcher missiles can easily be dodged and, RPG's take a lot of precision depending on your altitude. You are almost invincible, and close to the power of a tank, you just have to learn how to fly it. The opressor mk2 either needs to be nerfed or just straight up removed because is ruining the game.
Amount of times I have been griefed by people flying around with OPressors Mk 2 makes the game unplayable sometimes. I generally end playing in passive mode now.
I usually activate fully loaded if i see agressive opressors. Its a vip work mission that requires you to have ruiner 2000 vehicle for 4.2-5.7 mil. When you start fully loaded you get an op ruiner that cant be locked on with missiles, can witstand a shit ton of rockets, also you have a parachute and a jump boost which normal ruiner has anyways. The mission lasts for 20 minutes in which you basically become unkillable and the opressor is a joke since you have op missiles aswell. The only disadvantage is that you can get shot out of it by a rifle. There is a cooldown of 1 hour but you can avoid it by restarting the game. So i guess that is the only good counter to opressors these days

I played once every few months or so and just got overwhelmed with how behind I was after i got a PS4. Rockstar really has a very, very bad strategy at releasing these stuff. It's all centered on milkin the cash cow as much as possible.
* Homing Launcher was released to "stop jet griefers" BUT it proved useless against it, and killed Buzzard/Savage pro piloting in the process (Cuz there were no countermeasures back then)
* Explosive bullets was also released to "stop jet Griefers" BUT it killed ground PVP (while combined with/without BST) instead.
* Just as we thought Oppressor MK1 was the last nail on the coffin, MK2 basically f**ked both ground & sky PVP while threatening all unarmored vehicle drivers. It forced GTAonline to become a total warzone and push the casual players out. Just think of the last time you drove a non-weaponized or unarmored vehicle without getting blown up for more than 3-4 minutes. Yeah.
Back in 2013 you couldn't lock onto players in ground vehicles, they should bring that back at the very least.

AOCLIVE EXACTLY. Free aim lobbies do not have these try hard oppressors or explosive bullets shooting at you, they’re almost always pretty chill. It’s the assisted aim lobbies that tryhards claim they’re good and when they get mad they use explosives bullets ex.
People also prefer the mk2 because you don't have to do research for the missles unlike the mk1 you can just get passed the paywalls and buy the missles

Its because it's grippy and pretty fast on city environments, you get the "bulletproof" rear but the T20 is the only car that is faster than the zentorno, besides both are fast enough to outrun Missiles going In a straight line, pretty useful when a tryhard is out for kills, I have yet to find a way to counter the savage tho, that explosive cannon is deadly.

I use my Sparrow all the time. It can be upgraded to be more durable than the buzzard, makes crate/cargo missions on the ocean a cinch, and the infinite lock-on rocket spam is so good for clearing hostile AI from an area.
However, using it effectively for grinding requires map knowledge of spawn points, and wise property purchases that have said spawn points nearby.

I use the oppressor, deluxo and oppressor mk2 equally, but recently I’ve found myself using the mk2 more because of the feature in the game where you regen passively on your most ridden bike, I might start using the oppressor mk1 again because its fun to use and I’ll stand out in lobbies filled with everyone pretending to be in quidditch on their broomsticks.
