I’ve always liked helicopters. I sold my mk2 because i just liked flying the buzzard and sparrow around. Now I’ve actually gained “skill” which most mk2 players are not able to comprehend.

A BIG upgrade to helicopters, especially for people who grind, would be an option to keep the helicopter on when you leave it. In that way, you would be able to land, pick something up, and fly away in seconds, and not have to wait for it to stop and start up.

I'm no pvp enjoyer but flying around in helicopters is my favorite thing in the game. weaving around the city buildings, doing unnecessary low altitude maneuvers, doing heliborne with my stealth anhilator with friends in prep mission, it just feels so good.
Keep doing that and you'll eventually love pvp

As a diehard helicopter pilot, I have never resonated with a GTAO video so much as now
I absolutely love your content. The editing has a very noticeable level of care and effort put into it. The footage itself is impressive, you clearly show time put into practicing what you preach. Your humor and references are on point have my sides killing me. Most of all though, you’ve got something that not many people have for this type of content, genuine joy in what you do. You have fun and talk just with your brain but also your heart. It makes me miss the days gone by of GTAV when my friends all played. Good luck and Godspeed in your adventures

Hey, it's something i experimented with while trying to be a friendly player sometimes after i pretty much had nothing else to grind for, and man, some of them are terrible gunners, some are terrific, but every single time, they're having a blast while they're annihilating anything that moves, including other players, which caused me to be hunted for a bit, but nothing unmanageable.
Definitely give a low leveler a ride in your tank\apc\heli, both of you are gonna be having a blast, of course, at the expense of anyone who crosses your path.

I've never really been a fan of pvp, jets, helis and everything of the sort, but more of just a casual grinder, but since i've found your channel a few months ago i've definetly started trying out more of the things you talk about, so thanks for that! I've been having fun messing around in them with my friend.
Im so glad you found how good the buzzard still is it was an og grinder dream vehical to a perfect pvp players nightmare. I have always loved the buzzard.
Was never a plane guy but PvP was the peak of gta. Helicopters were just straight up forgotten by Rockstar, the Hunter and Akula are some of the best to use and most fun to use if you're in a fight without deluxos and a mk2
Both are still good for fighting those. Akula more difficult if in sight for deluxos mainly because running homing rockets due to easy dodge and no countermeasures. But for both you have way better climb then those two makes it very easy to dodge MKll missles and out of range for deluxo lock on. Just hover above and drop bombs, tilt tail down then fully up and spam barrage/ homing rockets, or you can try to catch their circle.
im not gonna lie, when i get tired of gta, I go to you, you make the game look so much more interesting and it rekindles my dying will to play lmao. so thank you, for posting even to this day.

Akula is super fun because of the off the radar. Its ideal for sneaking up on griefing oppressors and straight up mince them to pieces with the rotor blade. Worked especially well in bad winter weather 💪
Absolutely, I myself use the akula as a taxi to take players around. But it's a massive power house in stealth attacks
Akula is the best cause its got my favorite number, I've flown mine for at least 400 hours

Yeah at peak Cayo, shooting back and fourth between the kosatka and mission areas in a closed session was such a vibe. I have genuine nostalgia for it too bc the Sparrow dropped with Kult FM always selected, which is such a banger station in-game

I just found your video on The Rogue earlier this year and found this again on my feed. Your videos are all top quality that it might even belong to high end cinemas or if there's an exclusive luxury youtube membership. I can't begin to imagine what your videos will be about GTA 6.
Watching new GTA videos make me feel so old, hearing you call the Savage OG is crazy to me, I still recall the day when Heists first came out I was on Xbox and the servers kept going down cause there were too many players trying to get on to play the update, but years went by and I lost interest in the game due to stuff like the MK2.
Im glad people are still enjoying a game I grew up with when I was in school.
Getting good with helis made me a better pilot in general. And learning handbrake turns helped a lot. Sparrow and Buzzard are good for grinding, just wish the Sparrow had skids like the Buzzard for softer landings. Or that we could use the Sea Sparrow from the Kosatka. Akula and Hunter are top tier too.
Played GTA V from launch to about 2021 I think. Buzzard was my legs in this game and I destroyed in it. What you now feel about the railgun is what I feel when the homing launcher was introduced it also completely killed dogfights for a long time. Being able to call the Buzzard in instantly with CEO at the time was incredible too and the number people I successfully chased under bridges was phenomenal

i’ve been playing online since 2014 and when the savage was originally introduced, it was insane. however the buzzard still existed, and not many people (including me) knew about the super easy trick to dodge missiles in helicopters… also it’s worth noting that while you couldn’t buy the Lazer, people would steal that thing so fast if you used something like the savage on them.
The Savage was 2 mil and good at killing. The hydra was 3 mil and fantastic at killing. The Lazer was free and even better than the hydra. In my experience most people opted for the later. Hence lazers being a problem with early gta online when the only counter was rocket spamming, getting your own lazer, or bst with the heavy sniper.

I still don't get how your channel hasn't completely blown up yet, these videos are immaculate.
I adore the annihilator. I'm sure it's classed everywhere as the "worst helicopter", but it's genuinely a blast to use. Sure, no rockets, no explosive guns, but it's durable as hell, has so many little secrets about it, and homing rockets struggle against it most times.
The hunter was my first air vehicle purchase. I have so many great memories flying around with my friends in it. The cannon is unmatched!!!

Never thought I'd hear "Meet Matt Stryker" in a TH-cam video, but it put a smile on my face, great video.
I feel like it’s an unpopular opinion but I love the annihilator stealth, it’s tied for my favorite with the fh1 hunter, but I just love how clean it looks when painted all black, and it handles very well for a helicopter and the rappel feature is actually great when you have other players that can use it. I basically just use the annihilator stealth for most grinding and use the hunter when needed
It's also fun to fuck around with, and launch military-style operations with the ability to rappel onto buildings/surfaces or very tight spaces where the chopper can't land on.
I had most fun with it too, even though akula is far superior in every way. deploying team in rappel then I hover in the air in stealth mode, provide close air support, pick them up in LZ and leave. super clean and fun.

honestly I think the sparrow is on of the best solo helis against ground targets, it is a small target its fairly easy to dodge missiles and railgun is hard to hit because of the glass. It was the first vehicle I extensively used for pvp

Liked and subscribed, you have refreshed my perspective on GTA pvp.
I played online since early days, got to about level 260 then had enough of griefers and repetition, and abandoned it, I've since came back recently and although I use the mk2 for grinding, I do not use it for griefing, I do also use the sparrow for grinding but didnt realise its power for combat although its durability sucks lol, and I previously had little interest in owning a hangar although I own almost everything else, now I see me focusing on earning them millions to start growing a collection of copters and planes.
I think this is the first video of yours that I've seen, but hope to see your next post, good luck with the job training thing.
Can we all agree we want the railgun video, because more videos to watch from you the better.

Great video, but one advantage the MK2 DOES have over the Sparrow when grinding is how quickly it takes off. On some missions, getting into the sparrow, waiting for the blades to spin, and to actually take off can be hairy. That being said I'm 100% with you, I hardly use my MK2 at all. Mostly only when the sparrow is on cooldown. Flying helis in GTAO is absolutely great, and I would have loved the game to not introduce things like the MK2 that made helis too easy to kill most of the time.
That's actually a good point on the Mk2 that I've never thought about, the instant takeoff. With almost every other vehicle, particularly aircraft, you have that startup, which encourages players to maintain distance, also giving anyone they're fighting time to prepare or stop the threat asap if they're too close. Meanwhile Mk2 is just on and woooop. Great observation!

@@alexcrisman1954 Well, apart from the missiles, the US military was in fact testing a Remote Guardian Weapon System which has a GAU fitted below the Osprey and is controlled remotely from inside with a camera. And the Thruster, yes unrealistic, but that's a jetpack not a rotary-wing
Edit: it is mounted on the VM-22 Osprey, so no longer in testing, but in-service
taking low levels as gunners is like recruiting child soldiers
they're mostly kids irl so that's actually pretty accurate. Normalize child soldiers!!!
