Hi Jimmy, thank you for these videos, very useful. Just to clarify, only one producer from Bolgheri DOC uses Sangiovese in its blends. All the other 65 producers use bordeaux blends. Actually it was proven that Sangiovese in Bolgheri doesn’t express so well as it does in other wine areas. Super tuscan is also a larger concept that doesn’t just rely on Cabernet Sauvignon. I hope it helps.
Hi Gav, for these two regions, because the Estephe begins with a vowel, in French you link the two words by pronouncing the t at the end of Saint. but with Julien, because it begins with a consonant you don't pronounce the T

Great content. Quick Q: why is it "Saint" Estephe but "San" Julien?

In the textbook, it says in Australia Merlot is typically found, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon
For sure - wherever you find Merlot you'll find CS - and they'll be often blended
Kindly request you to please make a wset level 2 video

Thanks!
You are wrong about Cru Borgeois. Now changed again! but its fine for level 3!
Yes - all information relevant to L3...
