"The USS Voyager. She made her name farther out than... any of those other relics had ever gone. I was reborn there. She was my home. Her crew were my family." -- Seven of Nine
Voyager definetly punched above her weight class. I always figured there were two original hull plates and a self-sealing sten bolt left from the original ship by the time she made it home.
Same. It always had a mixture of practical, yet functional, and traditional (Star Trek theme) while futuristic - type of look, if any of that makes any sense. I never liked any of the original Stark Trek designs because the set designers were limited by what they considered to be "futuristic" according to 1960s and 1970s standards (not their fault). So that the original Enterprise ship design and interface always looks dated from my perspective. However, Voyager still looks futuristic by 2024/2025 standards, even though the TV show is more than 25 yrs old.
yeah Sovereign necels were the best at the time. Effecient design which lended itself to higher continuous running times AND didn't need the variable necel pylon geometry to be less damaging to subspace
But how much trouble would it have been to film a 5 minute ceremony in Nelix’s mess hall to promote Harry Kim? Seven got to fight the Rock and get into a mind game with George from Seinfeld but they didn’t have a minute for the fresh out of the Academy Ops officer? Tom Paris got demoted and promoted back in the 7 years. Tom and B’Ellana got together, got married, and had a baby. Seriously that was the worst thing about the show. They really should have promoted him at least once but really twice in the 7 years.
Considering the suffix J was used in the 32nd Century, I can only assume that either some Voyagers had a long service history or there were some gaps between each one. Because 11 Voyagers in 800 years doesn’t seem many.
Personally, I think that they didn’t give a lot of thought when they named Voyager-J I don’t think they needed to go that far into the number of ships, but it is what it is
Pathfinder class is just gorgeous. I especially like how it has an actual physical change indicating the Slipstream drive. The desginer are sos cared of changing things up, showing technical progress.
I wish we'd seen the ablative generator on ships I mean it's been enough time to advance it enough to fit any ship new or old. It can't be that difficult if voyager could do it alone in a week. The generator would be perfect if the shields were failing and a distress call had been sent then it could fight back till it was rescued
WHEN VOYAGER WAS BRAND NEW ALL THOSE YEARs AGO , I said YES to myself FINNIALY they are going to be ALLOWED to Break that Magic Warp Ten of Course ! IT NEVER F ~ HAPPENED , not nearly as much something else that Bothered Me Series 1 Season 1 Ep Story Heros and Demon WHY WHY WHY only a U grading ;
Voyager har a great premise the execution was done poorly. Some of the episodes were great such as Year of Hell which is what the show should have been like all along.
I’m sure there are NEVER any power outages on the Voyager J….ever. Imagine the hull and nacelles colliding into one another if this were to occur. The designer simply ripped off ship design tech from Jupiter Ascending-super lame and super dumb in my opinion.
I found Voyager-A to be a very disappointing design. Nothing about it makes me wanna call it Voyager. It looks more like an enterprise Voyager B on the other hand I think does a better job at sharing the design language of the original.
Did ent Tom Paris Call it an Edsul ! OR Completely useless I think Seven of Nine Run a FEW JUST a FEW Holo Simulation ' s OR are you talking about the time Tom made a SOLO flite and Broke Warp Ten then Kidnapped the Captain for a Quick 69 !

Voyager is my fav ship, I think it's great that there's a legacy now.
USS Voyager (no Bloody A, B Or J) is my favourite ship.
My favorite USS Voyager design is Lamarr-class(Voyager-A)
I love Voyager!
I've always loved the look of Voyage over other designs. Just my personal preference..

Voyager A looks like a Sovereign… just shorter and with a thicker secondary hull 🤷♀️

I know most fans prefer DS9, but VOY will always be my entry to the franchise.
Someone hand me a coffee!
I do feel like it got more hit-or-miss in the later seasons, but the Voyager crew is my overall favorite of the classic 90's Trek shows.
Same, I wasn't actually a huge fan of DS9. It was entertaining sure but it's more in the bottom tier of Star trek shows than top tier.

The Enterprise G IS NOT MY ENTERPRISE!!!
I like how there’s a running theme with each Voyager having the latest and fastest warp drives so it can get home faster 😅😂
Tie for my favorite class of Starship. Excelsior class & Intrepid class. Close 2nd was the Sovereign class
Great video. However i can tell someone isnt a Les Miserables fan.
Nice!
If there's coffee in a nebula, a Voyager will be there to find it.

Lovely video
Thanks 🤗

Love to see Voyager C and beyond until the J to see at least what they looked like.
I will never like the blutooth nacelle designs. Not on Discovery and not on Voyager.
voyager-J looks like a low res poly of the original
@@draconightwalker4964and with that weird open ring in the aft section, kinda resembles a bottle opener.
RIP Jeri Taylor.
we don't talk about the Enterprise G
this isnt a queston about Voyager but What ever happen to the Xindi and why havent we seen them in any other star trek shows etc .. really weird

They did get Slipstream.
Did you hear about Jerry Ryan turned down her own series. 😮
Was there any ~ thing wrong with the Ep Story the Good Shepard ;

Other than rhode island, did harry kim commanded any voyagers during his entire career? As captain or admiral? And not ensign! 🖖
USS Voyager is my favorite with Voyager-A being a close 2nd. B and J have nothing special about them.
I’m sure there are NEVER any power outages on the Voyager J….ever. Imagine the hull and nacelles colliding into one another if this were to occur. The designer simply ripped off ship design tech from Jupiter Ascending-super lame and super dumb in my opinion.

The only “legacy” is that Voyager went all the way to the Delta Quadrant to find the absolute worst writing in the Galaxy.
That is a harsh statement....and true
