That "#2 Q" was the only capital cursive Q that I learned in elementary school...I didn't even think to write it in the more standard looking way because I thought that was non-cursive and it would be considered wrong by my teachers.

Could you please make for us one another about the "how to hold a pen in the right way", how to allocate a paper on a table, how to move your hand while writing correctly. I'm spent a lot of time while googling these topics but mostly they are very briefly described in the books or the youtube videos.
The capital letter F is actually not supposed to be crossed at the top unlike a T. It's supposed to be written starting from left to right, then continue down, and place a short horizontal vertical midway line; otherwise it will look like a T. In fact a T is written exactly the same except without midway line. in other words a T and F are written exactly the same except for horizontal midway line. Simple and basic!
