I've always had trouble with capital letters, and since my school dropped cursive after one year of learning it (sorta), they became print capitals with cursive lower case letters flowing them. Great question. My eye is constantly traveling everywhere. It follows the nib, and also at the space where the letter is going to go. When I am flourishing, I am constantly looking for space to fill while writing at the same time. That is why I write fast and slow, depending on where I am looking.

Hi there, I'm improving my handwriting but still can't found the best writing method. Do you plant your palm and wrist on the paper or you let it float? Some tutorial said the best method is not plant the palm and the wrist on the paper, but I find it's very hard to do.
I am having real trouble not putting my wrist down on the desk! How do you just balance on your little and ring finger? My writing looks worse than my toddlers :'( Could you show a different angle for how you hold your pen please?

German has beautiful broad pen calligraphy which is more suitable for all the uppercase letters!

Just try to practice with your Lil Finger up and slowly move on to Ring finger. Since your comment is 2 years old I hope you figured it out
