In terms of how it looks the Arcade version looks better with higher quality backgrounds on the stages, higher polygons for the characters etc... however the PS1 did have a better sound chip than the Arcade machines back then so the music does sound more high quality than the Arcade version as they are arrangements of the Arcade music... Also for some odd reason the PS1 version uses the announcer from the original EX2 not the EX2 PLUS version which is pretty strange and also the PS1 version seems to have a strange black bar at the top of the screen which is definitely not there on the Arcade version... Also the PS1 version does have various other game modes compared to the Arcade version which gives it more replayability and makes it more fun/interesting in my opinion...

Wish someone made a romhack of this game for PS1 where the in game announcer is the one from the arcade version instead of Vanilla Street Fighter EX 2. Also need to include Shadowgeist’s stage and fix the black bars at the top by adjusting the screen for epsxe users like me!
Polycount on the arcade is higher, PS1 has simpler/with less polygons a character models than the arcade, look at Ryu's head in attract mode, is more round on the arcade, alsoRyu's fist, in the arcade you can see each of his fingers while on the PS1 the fist is just a cube and the fingers are a 3d texture.
This game is the worst turd ever shat. I can't believe you wasted your life playing this garbage. Neither should exist every copy burned for the sake of humanity.

Ótimas observações! Só faltou mencionar que as barras de energia têm a parte vazia transparente na versão arcade e sólida no Playstation.

The ZN-2 sound system is badly emulated, it doesn't sound like that on the real arcade pcb.

It doesn't make much of a difference other than the loading time BUT the arranged music makes the PS 1 version in my heart.
Except the loadings, both versions look pretty much the same, but it seems to me that fps in the arcade version is better.

Es casi el mismo harwdare, para mi ambas son iguales, eso de la resolución no nos afecta nada en una TV normal.
La unica diferencia es el soundtrack, en el arcade es mejor, y el loading en la ps1, que era un poco molesto.

The long loading times kill the game on the PS1. And the PS1 screen is smaller too. The arcade (MAME) wins for me.
