Properly interesting folks they are.

I never thought I'd like a romanceable Githyanki until I saw Lae'zel's eyes. Those alone had me looking twice. I love the part where they share the sunrise. It felt like an extra extreme fantasy epic in that scene.
Friendly reminder that Lae'zel had no obligation to help you after you and the rest of the party escape. Shows that even before her developement she was more kindhearted than she let on.

I have no idea how anyone got 'Dommy Mommy' from that blazing teddy bear. She may be 80% muscle and 20% burn you alive ability but she is 100% soft. Karlach is "Sweetness and light." Lae'zel is more "Fake laugh, hiding real pain." Minthara is "Fifty Shades of Underdark." Shadowheart is "Pure devotion." Non of them struck me as DM.
I had a different ending with her. I chose the option for her to save her people, but I convinced Orpheus to live (persuasion), this made her stay with me and triggered a final cutcene with her. she asks if we wants to stay with her even knowing that she would be chased by Vlaakith, I answered yes and it was game over.
I'm human and I didn't use any larvae. The two appear in a room and she tells us that Vlaakith will chase us, that it will be a life with long battles. We can answer yes or no. I wonder if it could have been a bug.@@chadwick7408
I just finished the game and had the same thing happen to me. 1) selected option to save her ppl 2) persuasion to save Orph and she stayed with me and I got the Vlaakith assassins dialogue. anyone know if this was a bug or actually supposed to happen?

P.S.Karlach will be very happy that she no longer dies and that she can stay in Faerun and live, albeit in the form of an illithid. P.P.S. The result is a happy ending for Tav and Lae'zel :)

P.S.If you feel so sorry for her and you don't want her to become an illithid, although I repeat, it was "HER" choice, she wanted it herself, if you have a romantic relationship with her, you and she may return to Avernus together, she will not be alone, you and she will be together , you and she will have each other, love, fight together and support each other and maybe one day you will find a way to return to Faerun.

Kids: "Dad, how did you and mom meet?" Him: "She was about to kill me until we shared a vision." Son: "Mom, dad is not telling us the truth. How did you both meet?" I can see how horrible it would be for them to explain stuff away. Overall, she is worth the romance yet it is full of rage.
I ended up saying I'll sacrifice myself, but selected I'll do it later. He gave the tadpole and it was in my inventory. I got to the part you climb up. At that point, when I went to take the tadpole, karlach stepped up and made her argument. I let her take it, it allowed me to stay normal keep her alive, and let Lae'zel and I stay together, Fighting Vlaakith's assassins for the rest of our days 😍
Great video❤👍 Kinda wish the Dark Urge story was included in your BG3 romance. It kinda adds a nice touch to for the both partners having their own dramatic baggage to deal with on top of a growing romance.
Remember, people; make sure she has the egg from the Creche in her inventory (she must be carrying it!) before the final fight, for extra adorable epilogue goodness!
There was no way I was gonna become a mind flayer because I knew Lae'zel would reject being with me forever and I didn't have Karlach in my party (finding out later she can become one instead of you or Orpheus) so Orpheus had to take that L for me and when he asked her to lead the charge for him I wasn't about to go to the Astral Sea and fight in some big ass war so I convinced Lae'zel to stay with me and Orpheus was like "ok then I guess githyanki freedom is dead" as if he didn't tell Voss to spark the seeds of rebellion with his story, like if Lae'zel being there would magically convince people more than Voss could himself, I gladly chose that githyussy over liberating an entire race because if they can't break free without Lae'zel that's on them, not on me 🤷♂
i am surprise you didnt release the prince, let karlach become iltith, defeath the brain and have everyone alive. prince goes to war against vlaa and laezel decide to stay with you instead.
When I sacrificed myself to become illithid to let Orpheus live, in the end Laezel left me and flew away with Orpheus just because I became a squid (she swore she will be with me forever a day before the fight). Heartbreaking... And if you fully neglect her wish for the good of githyanki and let Orpheus become a squid - she suddenly stop caring about her people at all and stays with you. You give up everything for her and get nothing, or vice versa. Quite strange and IMO unfair outcomes.
@Xxsorafan but if u sacrifice karlach, she eats orpheus. Does laezel stay after? U can convince her to let orpheus get killed but not sure about staying after the fight
If you become an illithid, then she will not stay with you in any case, but about why she doesn't stay with you if you become an illithid, I think because her race hates illithids very much for being slaves to illithids for so many centuries, githyanki just have pure hatred and aversion to illithids, they are pure blood enemies,so that's the reason why she doesn't stay with you.
@RoxN7 Even if you decide not to release Orpheus from captivity, for example the Emperor to eat him, you can persuade Lae'Zel to stay, 3:04:08 All you had to do was select the second line of the dialogue.
I’m still waiting for my first romance scene to happen. I have exceptional approval with her but everytime I take a long rest some plot thing happens. I’m already at the moonlight tower with no laezel scene lol
This is strange, most likely you did something wrong, you messed up something or made a mistake or you had a bug, because after I helped the tieflings and they came to celebrate the victory in the camp, I talked to Lae'Zel during the celebration, she said she wanted to spend the night with me, she wanted taste my sweat, so I don't know why you didn't succeed, or you made a mistake somewhere or missed it, or you stumbled upon a bug.
After she said it and i agreed, i went to sleep in a sleeping bag to rest and then started playing a romance scene with her, so i have no idea why you didn't succeed.
If nothing happens after a few rests u just need to progress more in the game. I didn’t even know I was in a gale romance until he randomly asks to choose between him and astarion 😂
Happend to mee to i missed the sex scene because i rested 4 times in act 1 now in act 2 before moonlight tower i rested 5 tines to try it. And i get the fighting scene. Sadly the 1st sex scene happens at the very start so you can miss is easily
NO, most likely she will fly away with Orpheus, I think that the only option where she remains with the protagonist is to "CONVINCE" her that the Emperor will complete the work himself, then she will no longer associate anything with her "people", she will be an exile, but she will become free and can choose her ownfate, start life from scratch, from scratch in a place with the protagonist.

Indeed. Just finished the game and did this. Karlach is happy about getting to live on, even if she's a mindflayer. And you can convince Lae'zel to stay with you. Great game this was. I am however greatly dissapointed with the rushed and unrewarding ending. No epilogue to speak of. We know nothing of what happens after we killed the elderbrain. And all we get with Lae'zel is a converstation about staying together, not even a fucking kiss. Fuck sake Larian.
You get the option to ask her to stay or let her go with them. If you have romanced her she'll just stay but if you haven't you'll need to pass a persuasion check. Apparently a Gith Tav is able to tag along with her and Orpheus though to help free the Gith.
i had to kill her at the very end because she never turned on vlaakith and she wanted to kill squid orpheus. I persuaded him to stay alive, but now there is no leader to rebel against vlaakith and laezel kinda died for nothing, but i couldn't let injustice happen and see vlaakith get a massive W. A very sad ending for laezel's storyline in my playtrough either way, and all because i progressed too far in the underdark by accident, without ever going to the githyanki creche lol.
there is, but this video did not show that for some reason, also one ending where karlach becomes mindflayer and laezel and tav stay together, like someone else said in the comments.

Yes there is, but only if you play as Gith, if you Orpheus turns into a Mind Flayer you and Lae'zel Ride The dragon together to fight for Githyanki freedom. The best ending in my opinion.

Oh i thought karlach had to eat orpheus after but u can save orpheus and get karlach to transform...i may do this. I didn’t want karlach to die, and she seems ok with transforming. I didn’t want laezel to just leave.
I wish there was a way to keep Orpheus *and* the Emperor alive. 2:20:56 2:28:56 Ngl, the writing in this game is amazing, but it doesn't make sense for the Emperor to join the Netherbrain if you free Orpheus imo. He should still want to be free from the Netherbrain. If anything, he should just try to kill you there and take the stones for himself.

That's so weird! My sunset cutscene had more dialogue and one of the most romantic lines ever. She said something like "As long as you are, I am. As long as I am, we are." Which I took to mean: "As long as you exist, I exist. And as long as I exist, we (as in a couple/soulmates/etc.) exist." Fucking heart-melting sentiments from the badest Gith babe on any planes🥹🥹🥹
I've been watching a friend play through this game and nearly every cutscene they have has been slightly different to mine. The amount of pure detail and choice in this game is genuinely incredible. Sunset scene was way too fucking adorable. Lae'zel ALL the fucking way.
You either get a different party member to turn mind flayer and you persuade Laezel to stay, or persuade Mindflayer Orpheus that he doesn't need to kill himself
At some point in Act 2 I got a dialogue where she tells me that she wants to have a "gentle" night with me but never acts upon in. I thought there would be another sex scene, but maybe I bugged and missed it...
No bug - every romanceable partner only has 2 sex scenes one you see and one you don't, all the rest are somewhat "implied" and left to your imagination as to whether they happen or not and how.
Was it the romance scene where you have the duel with her? That one is KNOWN to be buggy as hell, & not work for a lot of people. If it's just a regular one though, then the comment above me would make sense in that regard, but I have a problem where the duel scene gets set up, & doesn't show the rest of the scene, even though it's supposed to.
I'm really torn between Shadowheart and Lae'zel both women are great in their own way. My character is already starting a relationship with Shadowheart but at the same time Lae'zel wants to sleep with my character. I feel bad for sleeping with Lae'zel behind Shadowheart's back. 😂

Yes if u betrayed the queen laezel still stays with you, need to succeed the persuasion check i think. After that voss will appear and you need to convince her to side with voss also to proceed romance
If you betrayed the queen and laezel is still in the team. Just be patience and do some other quest, a couple long rest and voss will appear. For me it happens when i travel to shadowfall. It counts as long rest too i think.
So do I need to fight the gith at the pass to trigger the first romance scene with her. She did the “I’ll enjoy your sent” thing but nothing has happened after that

Lettin laezelle go first was a mistake, she will get a permanemt debuff for rne rest of the game. She is already bad at hitting things if she has great weapon master, and after this debuff sne will become useless.

Hm, I find all the romance scenarios in this game suck. Everyone except Minthara behave like boring virgins who've never romanced a day their life. Saying goofy high school phrases like "Tell me your mine" "Submit to me". I personally find Lae'zel and Karlach to be brutally hideous and Shadowheart to be easily forgettable. The voice actors are very good, but romance part is a snooze, ill skip them for now on, total waste of time. TH-cam should start exposing people's age because allot people talking about the romance sound like basement dwelling teenagers

The "endings" to bg3 are at best sloppy tbh.. they are incomplete disasters. Honestly a fully romanced Laz and freed Orpheus should NOT give the laz "I will be hunted by my queen forever" dialogue... Orpheus and his kin are going to kill Vlaakith and he will become King - no one will be hunting Laz much less the Pretender "Queen". They really should have accounted for that as an ending.

I ended up saying I'll sacrifice myself, but selected I'll do it later. He gave the tadpole and it was in my inventory. I got to the part you climb up. At that point, when I went to take the tadpole, karlach stepped up and made her argument. I let her take it, it allowed me to stay normal keep her alive, and let Lae'zel and I stay together, Fighting Vlaakith's assassins for the rest of our days 😍

Kinda wish the Dark Urge story was included in your BG3 romance. It kinda adds a nice touch to for the both partners having their own dramatic baggage to deal with on top of a growing romance.
Remember, people; make sure she has the egg from the Creche in her inventory (she must be carrying it!) before the final fight, for extra adorable epilogue goodness!
There was no way I was gonna become a mind flayer because I knew Lae'zel would reject being with me forever and I didn't have Karlach in my party (finding out later she can become one instead of you or Orpheus) so Orpheus had to take that L for me and when he asked her to lead the charge for him I wasn't about to go to the Astral Sea and fight in some big ass war so I convinced Lae'zel to stay with me and Orpheus was like "ok then I guess githyanki freedom is dead" as if he didn't tell Voss to spark the seeds of rebellion with his story, like if Lae'zel being there would magically convince people more than Voss could himself, I gladly chose that githyussy over liberating an entire race because if they can't break free without Lae'zel that's on them, not on me 🤷♂

When I sacrificed myself to become illithid to let Orpheus live, in the end Laezel left me and flew away with Orpheus just because I became a squid (she swore she will be with me forever a day before the fight). Heartbreaking...
And if you fully neglect her wish for the good of githyanki and let Orpheus become a squid - she suddenly stop caring about her people at all and stays with you.
You give up everything for her and get nothing, or vice versa.
Quite strange and IMO unfair outcomes.

If you become an illithid, then she will not stay with you in any case, but about why she doesn't stay with you if you become an illithid, I think because her race hates illithids very much for being slaves to illithids for so many centuries, githyanki just have pure hatred and aversion to illithids, they are pure blood enemies,so that's the reason why she doesn't stay with you.
@RoxN7 Even if you decide not to release Orpheus from captivity, for example the Emperor to eat him, you can persuade Lae'Zel to stay, 3:04:08 All you had to do was select the second line of the dialogue.

I’m still waiting for my first romance scene to happen. I have exceptional approval with her but everytime I take a long rest some plot thing happens. I’m already at the moonlight tower with no laezel scene lol

This is strange, most likely you did something wrong, you messed up something or made a mistake or you had a bug, because after I helped the tieflings and they came to celebrate the victory in the camp, I talked to Lae'Zel during the celebration, she said she wanted to spend the night with me, she wanted taste my sweat, so I don't know why you didn't succeed, or you made a mistake somewhere or missed it, or you stumbled upon a bug.
After she said it and i agreed, i went to sleep in a sleeping bag to rest and then started playing a romance scene with her, so i have no idea why you didn't succeed.
If nothing happens after a few rests u just need to progress more in the game. I didn’t even know I was in a gale romance until he randomly asks to choose between him and astarion 😂
Happend to mee to i missed the sex scene because i rested 4 times in act 1 now in act 2 before moonlight tower i rested 5 tines to try it. And i get the fighting scene. Sadly the 1st sex scene happens at the very start so you can miss is easily

NO, most likely she will fly away with Orpheus, I think that the only option where she remains with the protagonist is to "CONVINCE" her that the Emperor will complete the work himself, then she will no longer associate anything with her "people", she will be an exile, but she will become free and can choose her ownfate, start life from scratch, from scratch in a place with the protagonist.

New information, I checked, if you let Karlach defeat Absolute and keep Orpheus safe and sound, he will offer Lae'Zel to fly with him to fight together for the freedom of their people, against the tyranny of Vlakith, but you can convince her to stay with you and she will agree, say that her place with you and that "YOU" showed her what it means to be truly "FREE", Orpheus will accept and understand this and say that she will always be part of "their" people and fly away.
P.S.Karlach will be very happy that she no longer dies and that she can stay in Faerun and live, albeit in the form of an illithid.

Indeed. Just finished the game and did this. Karlach is happy about getting to live on, even if she's a mindflayer. And you can convince Lae'zel to stay with you. Great game this was. I am however greatly dissapointed with the rushed and unrewarding ending. No epilogue to speak of. We know nothing of what happens after we killed the elderbrain. And all we get with Lae'zel is a converstation about staying together, not even a fucking kiss. Fuck sake Larian.
You get the option to ask her to stay or let her go with them. If you have romanced her she'll just stay but if you haven't you'll need to pass a persuasion check.
Apparently a Gith Tav is able to tag along with her and Orpheus though to help free the Gith.
i had to kill her at the very end because she never turned on vlaakith and she wanted to kill squid orpheus. I persuaded him to stay alive, but now there is no leader to rebel against vlaakith and laezel kinda died for nothing, but i couldn't let injustice happen and see vlaakith get a massive W. A very sad ending for laezel's storyline in my playtrough either way, and all because i progressed too far in the underdark by accident, without ever going to the githyanki creche lol.

You might need to be a Githyanki to do that. Kinda an oversight on my part, I might redo this with a Githyanki protagonist eventually

Yes there is, but only if you play as Gith, if you Orpheus turns into a Mind Flayer you and Lae'zel Ride The dragon together to fight for Githyanki freedom. The best ending in my opinion.

That's so weird! My sunset cutscene had more dialogue and one of the most romantic lines ever. She said something like "As long as you are, I am. As long as I am, we are." Which I took to mean: "As long as you exist, I exist. And as long as I exist, we (as in a couple/soulmates/etc.) exist." Fucking heart-melting sentiments from the badest Gith babe on any planes🥹🥹🥹
I've been watching a friend play through this game and nearly every cutscene they have has been slightly different to mine. The amount of pure detail and choice in this game is genuinely incredible.

You either get a different party member to turn mind flayer and you persuade Laezel to stay, or persuade Mindflayer Orpheus that he doesn't need to kill himself
At some point in Act 2 I got a dialogue where she tells me that she wants to have a "gentle" night with me but never acts upon in. I thought there would be another sex scene, but maybe I bugged and missed it...
No bug - every romanceable partner only has 2 sex scenes one you see and one you don't, all the rest are somewhat "implied" and left to your imagination as to whether they happen or not and how.
Was it the romance scene where you have the duel with her? That one is KNOWN to be buggy as hell, & not work for a lot of people. If it's just a regular one though, then the comment above me would make sense in that regard, but I have a problem where the duel scene gets set up, & doesn't show the rest of the scene, even though it's supposed to.

Yes if u betrayed the queen laezel still stays with you, need to succeed the persuasion check i think. After that voss will appear and you need to convince her to side with voss also to proceed romance

Why does voss never show for me?
If you betrayed the queen and laezel is still in the team. Just be patience and do some other quest, a couple long rest and voss will appear. For me it happens when i travel to shadowfall. It counts as long rest too i think.
So do I need to fight the gith at the pass to trigger the first romance scene with her. She did the “I’ll enjoy your sent” thing but nothing has happened after that

Lettin laezelle go first was a mistake, she will get a permanemt debuff for rne rest of the game. She is already bad at hitting things if she has great weapon master, and after this debuff sne will become useless.

Hm, I find all the romance scenarios in this game suck. Everyone except Minthara behave like boring virgins who've never romanced a day their life. Saying goofy high school phrases like "Tell me your mine" "Submit to me". I personally find Lae'zel and Karlach to be brutally hideous and Shadowheart to be easily forgettable. The voice actors are very good, but romance part is a snooze, ill skip them for now on, total waste of time. TH-cam should start exposing people's age because allot people talking about the romance sound like basement dwelling teenagers

There’s also a cutscene with her where she said Vlaakith would be hunting her and asked us to stay by her side. Idk if it’s a bug or not but sometimes the cutscene shows up sometimes it doesnt

The "endings" to bg3 are at best sloppy tbh.. they are incomplete disasters. Honestly a fully romanced Laz and freed Orpheus should NOT give the laz "I will be hunted by my queen forever" dialogue... Orpheus and his kin are going to kill Vlaakith and he will become King - no one will be hunting Laz much less the Pretender "Queen". They really should have accounted for that as an ending.
