Joscho. Never. I have never seen or heard such a miracle. I never tire of watching and listening to your videos. Beyond the performance there is beautiful music. May heaven protect you for many, many years...
He is one of the best guitarists of Gypsy jazz, absolutely amazing, perfect technique in two hands, fast arpeggios, power licks, palmuting, sweep peecking, improvisations. He controls the instrument like an engineering piece. He loves their instrument, and he also has sense of humor....and only 4 know him...incredible!!!!
I just found out about this guy a couple months ago and I cant get enough! Unbelievable speed and precision. His playing ability combined with his dedication to the roots and his appreciation for all types of music really opens things up to endless possibilities. He's unbelievablely good. I will go so far as to say he either IS the best guitar player in the world, or is at least in the running for that title at any given moment. Tommy Emmanuel is amazing, and so are countless others, but I've never seen anyone who consistently wow's me with seemingly such little effort time and time again like he does. Its truly a pleasure to watch, and I'm very grateful that his videos crossed my path. Of course, these are just my opinions. Everyone has them, and we're all entitled to them. To each their own, and to all a good night!
it feels good to see that true admirers of artistic excellence still are able and very well do so as to express and word their admiration through this wonderful enlightening sweet sin of technology we call the internet. Ever since I heard minor swing by Django Reinhardt and this beautiful world of gipsy jazz swing whatever it should be called passed my ears and closed full circle (at least foe me) the cultural bridge of classical harmony, slavic influenced minor, jewish- Arab- Hebrew I don't know how to describe it better HARMONY- I could feel closure in my heart as to what music can amount to, end up to, end up as, and to see it expressed by such amazing instrumentalist that never forget to give that cheeky neckish wink of their eye is truly heartwarming and for that I am thankful to be alive and make music myself, even if not to that high of an level, but still absolutely loving every second of it

I met him in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago with his new trio - “The Transatlantic Guitar Trio” w Richard Smith (2001 Fingerstyle champ - nylon guitar like Chet Atkins) and multi-instrumentalist blind guitarist Rory Hoffman from Nashville (absolute improv genius). It was one of the most amazing concerts I’ve ever witnessed. I told Joscho he was one of the worlds top virtuosos up there w Paco de Lucía. Apparently he lives right next to gypsy Flam3nco artist Rafael Cortez in Germany. Anyways, if you have a chance to see him live then do it! Thanks for uploading this gem of a concert!
Simply phantastic! What impresses me most is his richness of innovation. You can listen to him for hours and it never gets boring. And this guitar sounds wonderful - under his hands.
The thing I like about his playing aside from the incredible pyrotechnical ability is he always looks like he is really having fun playing these incredibly difficult pieces.
Hey Max!1 You know it man! Joscho is insane! Hey, btw.. How’s that deadly hair game doin these days? I love your playing too! I gotta head to your channel to see what’s good. Later dude!
I thought one can only play so fast on a piano. And so melodic too. JUST AMAZING. My mind can't understand how he can play so precise and fast riffs. JUST MESMERISING ! ! !
Man,go on youtube and find Michael Paouris performing "Django's rainy heart" or "Air" and discover what a real threat on guitar is.Joscho is excellent but Paouris is genious second to none.
@@dinkogrgat5188 Just checked him out. Really good. Master of his art. A completely different genre but Ewan Dobson is also brilliant. All these guitarists are Gems.
@@ezioauditoredafirenze1108 Please do one more check with Paouris.Find his trio@Brosella/Djangofollies 2016.Lasting time is more than one hour, but stunning experience.I've heard of Dobson.Guy's got approach very similar to Buckethead.Good but lower level than Joscho or Paouris. Thanks for recommendation.
Let's dispense this incredibly talented young man the justice he deserves to receive: beyond the impeccable skills, beyond the virtuosity, there lies a truly original and creative living spirit. JS is able to acknowledge a time-honoured tradition while augmenting the range of a set style he helps evolving. If you ever wonder about the future of guitar playing, do play this again ...
Que MARAVILHA. Tive a felicidade de poder assistir, há uns anos, a um concerto dele no Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Santo Tirso. HE IS MAZING!
I saw Al di Meola and Gismonti at Santo Tirso in 2000..... Played the blues for 30 years.... at 45 found Joscho.... and the acoustic guitar just reborn 4 me. What a privilege.! Thank U Jose. Obrigadu!!!

32:02 After You've Gone
24.44 - Joscho's own composition. Great feel
The song title is "Papillon"
Vraiment brillant ce Monsieur 😂
very fast, very clean.
Brilliant
Why did you edit out the banter he was doing in between songs? That was hilarious that whole “hot bass player” thing! 😂
depois vou ouvir, muito bom
Great live👍 What is the song that starts at 24.45?
Joscho should do a instrumental Hendrix duet with Junior Brown. That would be mind blowing.
this is what pure domination looks like.
Show!!! Espetáculo!!!!
Bueno listo, ya escuché todo el primer tema, demasiado por hoy!
YEAHHHHHHHHHH
Talent like this in a Junior High school auditorium?
Does anyone Know the model of his guitar ?
Joscho é um maestro
Es gibt keinen besseren. Man, hat mich deine Musik schon aus den Socken gehoben...BURNER
sounds like he's had lessons!
what brand/ model is Joschos f-hole guitar?
What brand of guitar is he playing, make, model? Anyone know?
