The sheep were kind of like people; they all looked the same so they wanted to all flock together. When the shepherds finally sheared the sheep to reflect which ones belonged to which shepherd, the sheep realized that they were no longer the same as each other and warred against each other, killing all of them. 🥺Excellent work! ❤
And since killing was the agenda they began to turn.

This animation is like reality, people draw boundaries between themselves and ethnicities. And we also think that we are separate, but it is not so and we belong together.

weird how the shepherds get more and more friendly as the animation goes on, and the sheep get more hostile
Moral of the story: Separating individuals is never a good idea. If you put up rules (fences) that restrict what some of them can/can't do, they will always harm themselves on them. And if you convince them of being separate groups, conflict is inevitable.
Sheep are the result of thousands of years of domestication. They were once wild goats capable of surviving by themselves. Today they could not survive a day without their masters. Their body and mind has been damaged to much that they are incapable of thinking for themselves. Sadly freedom can only be achieved almost individually in a very small scale.
Best explanation on this comment section. If you think about it, mankind was separated just like theses sheep's or we wouldn't have language barriers. I feel as though life is a means that recycle. Like earth doesn't live forever according to science. Big bang is bound to happen once more. But what I'm thinking if their is a god, and every continent was once whole, how did we manage to make different languages? It's like the smallest change within creation makes a huge outcome. But if we think about it most could have been avoided and not even seen as a barrier. People from one country traveled to the next for trading. If language barrier was really a huge factor they wouldn't be able too. But I guess money is a language everyone can understand

Separating the two groups was the whole purpose of the sheppards. Ironically the sheep intermingled from the onset of the encounter and were impossible to separate back into the group they came from. The whole exercise was pointless.

Remarkably, as a shepherd, i found this very accurate! Sheep can be very self-destructive if they are not well controlled. I just had to give tetanus and antibiotic shots to a couple of rams that had smashed through a welded steel fence because I opened a gate that led to fresh grass in a pasture over 400 feet away. Incredibly they were not even interested in the grass once they got there…they wanted only to keep each other from eating grass! Half day fence repairs, medical treatment and making visual blocking walls so they could not see the grass.

My step-dad is a dairy farmer, he rents some of his land out to a local shepherd over winter each year. A couple of years ago a brook burst it's banks and the shepherd lost 5 sheep to drowning. All they had to do it walk 10 feet until they reached a hill, but they all decided to stay where they were until they were cut off from the hill by the flood. Not a lick of sense in them.

This story has nothing to do about sheeps even though the sheeps represented the human race. This is how the leaders and the people controlling the world do to us and they always try to separate us by using different strategies and at the end of it innocent lives are being lost. Just want to give the sheeps some grass to eat, dont want to get the sheeps to be mixed, ended up killing them

They try to separate them but in the end it doesn't work. The more they try to separate them, the more they got killed.

About the shepherd, it's like leader of rivals. It's like USA & USSR, North & South Korea, etc. They r rival but actually not that rival. But in the process of their rivalry, they get lot of casualties. Their own ppl.
It's about religion. The shepherds are religious leaders. The sheep wanted to commune until their shepherds "branded" them. Then they attacked each other over their "differences." Religion or politics, take your pick.

Yep, exactly. I didn't like the film, violence and bloody mess and didn't even care so much for the symbolism behind. I just know that the film made me 🤢 to my stomach, i wast entertained or amusement the slightest.

Well I'm not an animator, I'm only one of the viewers and i just didn't like what i viewed.🤷🏽♀️ I can appreciate the hard work, but i don't have to appreciate the content. Isn't that what art creations are supposed to do, allow and provoke all kinds of feelings and reactions? I happened to love watching good quality animation films. But this one just pi**ed me off. 😒
