- If the throttle or pedal assist is not working, the bike is not functioning properly, even though the display is on. The issue is most likely due to the brake sensor, which requires adjustment.

I hit throttle on wet wood surface and spilled my brand new bike! I had to walk the bike home. Sure enought the spill loosened off the sensor on the rear brake resulting in the display saying "BR" this Inow know indicates the brake is engaged (even though I have no brake light and have only mechanical bdisk brakes. The sensor in the handle was made loose by the spill and was cutting power to motor. Tighentend up the brake assembly and its running perfectly. Pretty cool safety feature I didnt know about until I watched this excellent video. Thank you sir , it was a great service.

The brake light is on .. removed both sides, but the light never turned off. So, is it still the brakes or my controller
which bike you got? because if you disconnect the brakes sensors the light will not be on . You probably got the tail light not the brake light on. What issue do you face even before you took those steps?

Yes! This helped me fix my Himiway Cruiser! Just pulled on these connectors and pushed them tight and it works!

I just got a Super73 R Adventure in the mail and it doesn’t work right out of the box. Battery is charged to 100%, display turns on but throttle, peddle assist, front/back lights, and horn doesn’t work. Can you help?

wow, that sucks! I thought they have better support team. You might want to check all the connections unplug and plug back while bike is off, check wires from controller if connected as well. I am not familiar with super 73 so can not really help much
