Do not put Alabama as an automatic loss moving forward. Nick's magic is gone. Auburn should have won that game. 4th and forever was a lucky blown coverage play for Bama or it was a win for Auburn.
Not an automatic loss, but remember that Deboer has a .890 winning percentage all time...about the same Nick had at Bama for all but his first year at Bama. Plus Deboer took Washington to new heights with mostly 3 star athletes. It might be just as hard for Aub to win the Iron Bowl. Aub had 8 men in coverage. That's two defenders for each receiver.
Deboer was in the PAC 12! No defense playing conference. Let's see how his style of play translates to SEC. Not hating here, but truly questions need to be answered. Nick will be there to help assist. He doesn't want to say here are the keys and walk away. What I am saying is time will tell. But the .889999 or whatever from PAC12 means .000001 to me. He inherented a decent roster in a top program. Let's see what he does with it. I personally remember what Bama looked like before Nick built the program. Not saying it's going back to where it was before, but will losing one of the greatest coaches of all time. Do you really thing they will be better? Auburn should have won last year with Nick on the field coaching. No longer is Bama an automatic L on the schedule. Will Bama be favored sure as of now. Lots of games will be played Let's wait and see.
@@user-ee8yh1pf2z There's really no such thing as an automatic L outside of cupcakes. Even most of Saban's National Championship teams lost a game. And I think it's fair to expect a bit of a step back from Saban. But Bama is still Bama. Recruiting hasn't slowed down at all. They're going to remain an elite program for the foreseeable future. And Auburn (while being a solid program) will remain little brother. Yes, they will win some Iron Bowls, and yes they'll have a good season here and there. But they are not what Bama is and that's just the truth.
Lets not count the chicks before they hatch. Auburn might f around and lose to cal or something crazy. I have lost all hope as an Auburn fan. I am not taking any games for granted.
Tired of hearing Cam did it by himself...no he didn't. Darvin Adam's Ontario McCalleb Michael Dyer Mario Fanin Emory Blake Phillip Lutz (Savage Thorpe and Mincy) all play in the NFL along with Powers. Nick Fairly won the Jim Thorpe award Josh Bynes was a heck of a linebacker Isom Sullen and Zeimba was studs on the Oline Wes Bryum was chutch place kicker And Clark was the best punter we ever had besides Daniels
Hugh Freeze is the worst coach in college football and it’s pathetic that Auburn hasn’t fired him already. Rushing 2 players vs Alabama on 4th &33 lacks any critical thinking skills and is a fireable offense. Auburn is a punch line to a bad joke with Hugh Freeze at the helm
What?! Delusional. Factually and hypothetically. He’s won everywhere he’s been and had 2 top 25 teams at Liberty. Recruiting better than anyone since Tubbs. Out of your mind! Fire him already? After one season with garbage on the field? Wow. Historically Freeze’s teams have been flat year one then 9 plus wins in year 2-3 everywhere he’s been. Absolutely insane to fire the man that has us leaps ahead of last season already. He came in an assembled a top ten recruiting class his first cycle. We will have 2 back to back top ten classes which hasn’t been done at AU in a decade or more. Gus got a couple but not back to back. The cherry on top is we have upgraded everywhere and built depth where we’re already solid. Great roster management. He flops this season to less than 8 wins then he’s on the hot seat. 8 wins and he’s firmly in the driver seat. This season is going to be one of the most fun we’ve had in years.
A fireable offense in year 1 when Freeze was clear he had to run recruiting if Auburn was to get on track. He had his coordinators running offense and defense and defense was outstanding. You know what sucks? This take sucks. It's a cheap shot born of hating Auburn and hating Freeze rather than any real understanding of football and where a complete rebuild must begin.

We (Auburn) need to beat Bama before we remove it from automatic loss.
We can really go 10-2 if we beat Mizzou WDE🦅
I agree

One thing we don't talk about enough is cornerback and safety play

How much different is this Auburn team then the one that got beat by Maryland and New Mexico State? A few upgrades and receivers. Anything else?
It’s a completely different team. Everyone is on the same page and the guys that didn’t want to work or put in work are gone.
are we getting a video talking about the oregon unlimited NIL 😂😂
working on setting it up now!

So , I guess you are the strongest candidate to replace him ?
Dumbest take I’ve read yet.
WDE
I don’t know man. Will believe when I see
Auburn and expert is oxymoron
Alabama and sister effer are redundant.
How can you be aligned with Hugh F. He is an awful person.
aren't most millionaires?
Why’s that
His coaches and players disagree. You know the people that actually know him and work with him? Past poor decisions makes someone an awful person? 🤔
Because he called a whre?
