100% convinced that Hugh giving Thorne another chance is 100% mistake. Can’t believe he’s putting Walker White at the very back of the line of QB depth. Going with Thorne is a 100% TOTAL MISTAKE.. You’ll see when he chokes again this year.
I don’t think we lose to Kentucky I think we beat Alabama this year too new coach lost a lot of players and of course they always play Alabama like it’s the Super Bowl even auburn bad teams played them fairly well but I think this one of auburn’s best teams
Exactly what I called. 8-4. Absolutely 9 or even 10 wins is possible. But until I see it, I'm fine with 8-4. That keeps the 25 class in tact with some possible flips in december. And then 2025 its blast off time.
Auburn NEEDS to go 8-4 or 9-3! I stress NEED, if we handle business and do that which is totally doable, Auburn lands a top 3 class next year and Auburn and Hugh Freeze will be in the playoffs in year 3 and compete for the title the following year!
@@CoryMac205 Why not 10-2? Why not 11-1? Why not win it all? Maybe my expectations are way too high especially with Peyton Thorne under center or in the shotgun but I set em this way because of the conference (SEC). I also know that Coach Freeze hates to lose more than anyone. I’ve followed his coaching career for years and he creates championship caliber teams. The one I don’t trust is this damn QB. I’d be grooming Walker White and skipping the other 3. This new signee from Notre Dame might also have something to offer if Auburn can retain him. I’m just afraid by starting Thorne it’s going to cost Auburn a lot more than a few wins. I say Walker White 100%. F$ck the other 3 QB’s. But I’m just a fan. Nobody asked me.
@@isaiahtaylor2841 I’m 100% 💯 positive Alabama plays Oklahoma On November 23 in Norman. I’m 100% positive that Georgia and Alabama play September 28 in Athens. Iron bowl is November 30th because I just accepted my ticket transfer yesterday.
Lotta comments....We play Oklahoma then Georgia, who just played Alabama, and they made Auburn their homecoming. Bye week, Mizzou, Kentucky is not going to beat Auburn. Then it is all bets are off for the Iron Bowl like they always are. Could be an interesting season.
There is an X Out Factor Here......PT. 7 wins is the CEILING. More like 5 or 6 wins with PT at the drivers seat. He is not going to progress because by the time you are a JUNIOR in college at QB and look the way he did, then it's all baked in. Hank Brown showed the problem was not the talent around the QB last year.
Here is my prediction for our schedule… August 31 vs. Alabama A&M: W 62-14. And 14 might be gracious for Alabama A&M. September 7 vs. Cal: W 49-14. This matchup last year was a defensive slug fest, but I think we’ve gotten much better offensively. September 14 vs. New Mexico: W 59-7. New Mexico is different than New Mexico State, people. September 21 vs. Arkansas: W 49-7. After we smashed Arkansas in their house last year, 7 points might be being nice to them. They might get shut out. I’ve heard a lot of people saying that this could be a trap game for us - it’s not. September 28 vs. Oklahoma: W 38-20. The more I think about it, Oklahoma has a new quarterback and a new offensive line. October 5 at Georgia: W 41-38. Call me crazy, call me ridiculous, call me delusional, call me whatever you want, but we competed with Georgia last year, and I don’t see why we can’t do it again. Besides, I think Georgia’s fixing to have a bit of a down year. I think they’ve been hiding behind a weak SEC East schedule all this time. With no more divisions, it’s gonna be interesting to see how UGA performs. October 19 at Missouri: L 24-21. I had to have us having at least one loss. I don’t think we’re as talented as Missouri, but we’ll see. October 26 at Kentucky: L 38-31. Yeah… this isn’t going to be our best performance defensively. November 2 vs. Vanderbilt: W 48-9. Vanderbilt is still terrible. November 16 vs. Louisiana Monroe: W 66-10. 10 might be gracious for ULM in this game. November 23 vs. Texas A&M: W 28-10. Not our best performance offensively, but Texas A&M is an absolute dumpster fire right now. Our defense will get us the W. November 30 at Alabama: W 52-49. Not a good outing by our defense at all, but we will beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa for the first time since 2010 because of our offense. Look, I’m worried about Alabama this year. Yes, they’re still talented, but I just worry, like, how much of that nearly 2 decade success with Nick Saban is going to translate to Kalen DeBoer? Final record prediction: 10-2. Losses: at Missouri and at Kentucky. What do you guys think?
I know we haven’t beaten Georgia at Sanford Stadium since 2005, but we’re coming off a heartbreaking loss the last time we played them, and that should be motivation enough. We will beat Georgia. Mark my words.
9-3, 8-4 floor, 10-2 ceiling. I’m the betting over at 7.5
8-4 floor is insane. they could easily lose 5 or 6 games in the new SEC
Stone cold OVER the 7.5. $$$$$$ See me in December.
JD if we go 8-4 we will have a top 3 class.
8-4, 9-3 is definitely possible though as long as they handle business against the lesser teams
