Fun video, guys! Those bao bun looked delicious! We would definitely give them a try. I like the “is it worth it” game, but it’s definitely hard to decide when you know that everything is going to be expensive at the fair
AE Dairy is the best! Years ago when we lived in Des Moines, they would bring by a welcome sampling of dairy products....it was fun and they brought a LOT!
Hello and thank you for this video! I really like it. I did my research before going to the fair this year so I planned on getting certain new items to eat and drink so I'm glad TH-cam recommended your video! I am surprised lobster corn dog got worth it at $20! That made me want when I wasn't as interested. I went a couple days ago and I got the cheeseburger egg rolls and dough chos like cookie dough sundae. For drinks I got the Iowa Ade and Mango Bliss. I main wanted Dough chos and I loved it and wished you rated it and that you got to Mango because you show it in this video. You also showed the peppermint ice cream block. I am pretty sure I got that a few years ago as well. Awesome video!
I wish so badly your audio wasn't distorted. You can never be too low (because you can bring up the volume in the edit) but when you clip the audio, there's no fixing it.
I think that the wind plays a big role in that...sadly even with the mic covers, it still affects the sound. Using DJI Mics if you have any specific tips Thanks for watching!
If you take the context that $1.25 in 1963 is now worth around $13… Which is fairly comparable with the current minimum wage. And that $.10 hotdog would basically cost about a dollar now… I’m sure a basic hotdog at the fair probably cost about $3.50 now You certainly got a lot more for your money back then didn’t you? Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
I think at a normal restaurant… I would agree with you However, we take into account that there’s an additional expense that these vendors have to pay in order for us to have all of these culinary delights clustered in one place. While you’re trying, lobster… I hear that the candied bacon gnocchi at the same place is excellent. And the cheeseburger eggroll in that same area is pretty darn good too. Have fun at the fair and thanks for watching!
The Vietnamese chicken bao was the best. Also the mango mango

I view the fair like going to Disney....it takes a few days to "accept" the prices. Then I'm good.
Thanks for watching!
This was fun! I am from Indiana and had to Google AE Party dip. Lol.

Thanks! There were other things that we wanted to try but could not find them

I remember when minimum wage was $1.25 per hour, and you could buy a hotdog for 10 cents at the Flanery's stand at the SD State Fair.

I think the only the first one you ate worth it. I am going to try tomorrow.

I’m a Iowan and super offended that you didn’t have a foot long corn dog it’s like the best thing there and the most popular
I love corn dogs too....but you will never see me eat one on video :)
I would never pay those prices. Eat at home.
