It also depends where your future office would be. If you go further away from the city center (still within Sbahn connection, but about 30 min from the center) you would be able to get 2 rooms for the price of 1 room apartment in the center, or even cheaper:)

Hi, it is definitely cheaper to rent an unfurnished place, especially for a long time. Buying the furniture could be a bit expensive and it takes long time to have it delivered, but it is still cheaper than getting a furnished apartment.
