Fun fact, this isn’t even the first time jaywalking was brought up during KPR. Back when Boatman played Meta Knightmare Returns, jaywalking was brought up for the exact same reason, which led into discussing if various Kirby characters would jaywalk or not.

You forget that Hyness literally decked one of his subordinates for being in his way when going to fight Kirby. He would not just jaywalk; he would walk in a straight line for miles on end, stopping only to obliterate anything that stood in his path, and then suddenly realize he had only intended to go to the store to buy milk.

I played this game when I was around 7 or 8 years old on my 3DS, and I remember very vividly practically shitting my pants during the Meta Knight fight. My brother used to make jokes about how his nose makes him look like a clown.

I swear, the best part of “Beam Attack” has to be when Waddle Doo laughs.
It’s strange to me, because it’s the only time Waddle Doo sounded genuinely scared. He cracked under the pressure for just a second, and it makes me think that, at that moment, Waddle Doo himself knew he was gonna get obliterated. Despite that, he still kept a facade of confidence up until death was upon him.
… Or, perhaps, I’m looking too deep into this.

Something that's always bugged me about kirby planet robot Is the fact that the Mech that you can give to Kirby is clearly Sentient When Kirby is knocked out in one of the final cut scenes The Mech moves on its own It pushes Kirby Towards his home planet while shedding a few tears. Robots can't normally do that.

meta knight wouldnt jaywalk, and do exactly as failboat said. pull you back so that you do it normally.
dark meta knight would jaywalk, but in the exact opposite way. hed go after you, grab your hand, THROW you back to the side of the street you started on and then continue so hes the only one who jaywalked.
morpho knight would jaywalk, stop halfway in the middle of the street, possess a car and try to run over kirby even when theres a red light. even if kirby hadnt even started morpho would be tryna hit kirby at mach 10 with whatever car he managed to possess.
galacta knight would jaywalk and if any car approaches him, hed sever them in half. and if any car dares to move hed decimate it. if someone tried to stop him hed engage in combat with them even if he was in the middle of the road.
phantom meta knight wouldnt even have to jaywalk, hed just dissapear and reappear on the other side of the street. green or red, he just phases from either side.
yarn meta knight would only be involved if the world was yarn, but he probably wouldnt jaywalk.

I did, but see, the weirdest thing happened. When I tried it the screen cracked and the DS turned off. Not to mention it shocked me. Huh, guess it only works for a few people....

I personally feel Clawroline/Carol would jaywalk if only to make some protest about 'less than flattering' fanart. All other times, she would leap building to building so roads aren't in the equation.
As much as I loved this game, the Holo Defense is easily one of my least favorite bosses besides Grand Mam
Besides Ice Dragon and it's main design being a ref to Pix, it was just a bunch of Rehashes from the previous games. since Robobot used the same engine as Return to Dreamland and Triple Deluxe the Doomers, Kracko and Coiley Rattler are basically just copy pasted from their original games.
Ice Dragon can stay, but I think it would've been more interesting to have: Holo Lololo and Lalala, Holo Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright, and Holo Wham Bam Rock (Normal Mode) and Holo Wham Bam Jewel (Ex Modes). Basically bosses that Have not been seen or used in a modern Kirby game up until now
Tbh, Holo Defence API doesn’t really bother me that much. It’s the rehashed fights against Queen Sectonia and especially Galacta Knight that annoy me way more since they both fight the same way they did in Triple Deluxe and Return to Dreamland and feel like they were only in the game for fan service (well, Galacta Knight does. We actually kinda got to see Queen Sectonia’s original form, so there’s that I guess).
Honestly the only negative thing I can say about Robobot is that it reuses bosses too much: Holo Defence API, Susie's fight being mostly reused for Haltmann, Dedede clone just being the Dedede Team from Fighters Deluxe, Sectonia and Galacta Knight being unchanged from their previous appearances
(Also as if reusing Sphere Doomers once wasn't enough, the ESP miniboss is also a reused Sphere Doomer)
While I agree hollow defense API has some missed potential I could also say that about a lot of robobot. while I'm positive this game isn't getting a switch port it would be cool cause robobot is more interesting than triple deluxe thematically and lore-wise, besides some of the bosses in triple deluxe are kinda forgetful because most of them are in robobot in one way shape or form.
Honestly, I'd go for Wiz, Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright and Dyna Blade instead. I think Dyna Blade fits the change of arena that Coily Rattler had much better than Wham Bam Rock/Jewel, and is infinitely cooler. Wiz instead of Lololo + Lalala is because two duo bosses is kinda eh, and the arena changing should be reserved for the final one. (also Lololo/Lalala are some of the most yawn-inducing bosses in the series imo.)
I wouldn’t be surprised if the sheer amount of boss reusal in this game comes from how the game didn’t have all that much development time all things considered, meaning that a lot of the development time had to have been used for everything else along with getting the Star Dream fights to work just right.
