I just turned 80 years old in March. Death is on my mind constantly. My body is worn down by maladies that will not kill me, but instead increase my suffering every day. Since the death of my wife in 2020 I live alone and cherish the interaction with my children and grandchildren. I pray for them every day especially at 3 PM daily when my cell phone sounds the alarm to remind me. I am slowly divesting myself of all earthy pleasures and goods. I have never prayed or fasted so much and attended daily mass and assisted as altar server and part time sacristan as a volunteer. I welcome death to end my suffering on earth and hope to bypass Purgatory if possible by trying to stay in the state of grace to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus, I trust in You.
May God bless you, and May you align your will to Gods will. You are a blessing to your children and grandchildren. I know what you mean about stepping up the prayer life.
Pray for all the poor souls most in need of God's Mercy both living and deceased offer your sacrifices for them. Say a Divine.Mercy Chaplet day and @ night for them. They will most certainly intercede for us when we are going home to the Lord. TRUST (Total Reliance Upon Saving Truth.)
When my husband was dying my 9 children And myself were at his bed side.We asked the priest for the Chaplet of Mercy to be said. He asked my husband if he wanted this? My husband who was dying, nodded yes. The Chaplain then had to borrow a rosary an nurse..and didn't know how to pray pray it. I told him I would lead it.. So my husband and 9 children prayed it. He. died a few hours later
I have learned that the chaplet of Divine Mercy is an appropriate prayer for those who are dying. You did the right thing! God bless you Bernadette. May your husband rest in peace.
I am so sorry for your loss. I’m thinking that hearing you and your children praying the Chaplet was a great comfort to your husband as he listened to all he loved most, praying together. May Our Lord comfort and console you and your children and May He always protect you. May God bless you.

Thank you very much Rev Fr Chris Alar for his enlightening talk. Nine months to the day my daughter Philippa Jane passed away with bone cancer, she appeared in a dream looking radiantly beautiful in an exquisite white dress I'd never seen before. She was skin and bone at death but now she had rosy cheeks and curly brown hair and looked every bit an angel. She held my hand and said, "Come Mum I'm very happy there ". "Not now Pippa girl I have to look after Dad Mimi and Vicky. I ll come later. "" "OK, Mum. "" She left my hand and I've never dreamt of her again. I know she's reached her eternal home. This gives me hope of life hereafter and I no longer fear death .
When my mother died and I had cancer right after it, I was stripped. I cried out and found Jesus. Every journal ended: Jesus, I trust in You. Jesus wants to come into your wounds. When you allow Him to do that, those wounds are united to His wounds. You become stronger. Closer to Him. Praise God. Let us each embrace our suffering as He did offering it to Him. Let us strip ourselves… as He was. When you heart is pierced, give it to our sorrowful Mother whose heart was pierced and put it in His pierced heart. Let us take up our cross, follow Him and persevere to the end which is a return to the place we came from. Pray. Pray. Pray. 🙏🙏🙏✝️
Beautifully said, Mollie! May we all fellow the example you have shown us here. Asking Jesus to enter into our wounds is key. Thanks for sharing your story and God bless you! 🙏

Father Aler, Bishop Sheen, Jennifer and Brother give all of us a very compelling reason for following Jesus' teaching to be ready for his kingdom and know that we are promised eternal life if we believe and follow His example. Mark in his gospel gives us hope as well as Sr. Faustina gives a path to eternal life. Very powerful.
I wish I knew of the message of the Divine Mercy when my parents passed. I pray daily that God had counted then, the prayers I have been offering since I have been directed to this site and to this community. My deepest sadness is not knowing sooner. Becoming a Marion Helper has changed my life. The world is in such peril right now, we need this message in the world.
Looks like we have another great series here on “Living Divine Mercy”! Death is a difficult topic because, as you have said, we are made for life. Our secular society tells us “whoever dies with the most toys win“, but this of course is false and contrary to the Will of God. As hard as it may be, we must put God first in our lives and not worship the things of this world which are temporary compared to eternal life in Heaven. Thank you, Fr Chris, for teaching us what other priests choose not talk about. I come here because I seek the truth which is always spoken here. There is a lot of promise in Br Harrison and I’m glad he is part of our Marian family. God bless you, Father Chris, and God bless all of our Marians both at the Shrine and around the world. 🙏

I do not normally say the Chalet sitting up in bed at 11pm, and Mum did die later that night. |Do you think that I have reasonable hope that Our Lord accepted my Chaplet and saved my mother?
You go out dying as you lived you life. You're MOST CORRECT! If you live sniveling and whining, that I didn't get enough, you'll die sniveling and whining. If you lived, courageously, you're last words will be courageous words, hatefully, then your last words, and thoughts, will be hateful words. Jesus said, " If I were to tell you, heaven is in the air, then the birds would precede you; in the earth, then the worms would proceed you, in the sea, then the fish would precede you. Heaven, is not in the air, nor is it in the earth, orthe sea. Heaven is within.
my guy was a secret Marian father. you can never see a full clear photo of him wearing a Marian father jacket. he always wore blue. and American shirts. Cute. I apparently did too. But now I notice it more. And I try not to. I'm a busy girl gotta stay busy, but my mom can put me in a downward spiral. Sometimes I feel my mom is the corruption of man. Not just a feeling but a testimony of living with her and having friends declare to me this truth of what I face with my mom. We must help my mom to find Christ and to let go. She sometimes follows the dark side even in prayer she can become obsessed. I avoid obsessions and run away from evil and run away from obsessions. That is why I am happy to declare Jesus Christ is always and has always been my true Lord and Saviour and King and happy to have found that totally in a man that died just recently less than 3 months ago.

I felt the desire at the time to do this and I knew that Mum was likely to die that night [Dad had warned me on the telephone earlier that evening that Mum was likely to die tat night]. I do not normally say the Chalet sitting up in bed at 11pm, and Mum did die later that night. |Do you think that I have reasonable hope that Our Lord accepted my Chaplet and saved my mother?
I am so sorry for your losses. May God console you and may your parents rest in peace. God bless you, Michael!

What's the name of the chant at the intro?
Adoro te devote
Too much advertising on that chanel is corrupting the message.
We have no control over that at all. We do not monitorize and do not earn a penny from these videos. Those are youtube ads. God bless

my guy was a secret Marian father. you can never see a full clear photo of him wearing a Marian father jacket. he always wore blue. and American shirts. That is why I am happy to declare Jesus Christ is always and has always been my true Lord and Saviour and King and happy to have found that totally in a man that died just recently less than 3 months ago.
my significant other who became my sponsor for RCIA because priests were unable to sponsor catechumens my significant other and I seem to not be able to get married because we are also bound for heaven. Hopefully much later than now. We want to stay with all the people as best as we can. Serving all and hopefully making it to worship to God alone once a week or more or on other times of our lives. We will be with God soon. Even God forgives suicides.
