I remember a priest preaching about how we should never give up praying for the souls of those who are deceased who might have died in mortal sin, because God hears our prayers from the foundation of time and can apply our prayers to that person at the moment of their death and save them. So if we have any loved ones that have died and we’re not sure about their salvation, keep on praying for them!
A friend from work died from a massive heart attack at home and at the moment of his death, I was at home and got a strong feeling that I had to say the Divine Mercy Chaplet for him and I did. I found out the next day that he had died and what time and I believe that saying that helped his soul as St Faustina said it would. 🙏🏻
We are in a space in the world today in which our dedication to God is of paramount importance. Stay in step with our Lord Jesus Christ with the passion of pure love and faith.
My brother who died on the 21st who was 32. He was a non believer, however he had made ammends with the people in his life. He did sin but he was a great person and cared about people. He was accepting and forgiving. For the past three years he clothed and fed the homeless. He was a biker and was killed when a guy made an illegal turn. I hope Jesus came to him in his death and offered him a place with God.
t believe that God has special mercy towards those who are murdered. Plus, as Catholics, we can pray for the victim's soul after their murder, and those prayers will help at the murder - because in God there is no linear time, only eternity.
Dear Fr Chris, you’re such a blessing to our world. May God continue to increase you in wisdom, knowledge, understanding and of course continue to bless you through Christ our Lord amen.
My deepest condolences on the passing of your mother, Fr Chris. We know how much you loved her and that she cried for three days when you entered Seminary! Praying for your mum, you and your family at this difficult time. Love and God's blessings from Australia 🙏🏻 ❤
Fr Chris, my condolences for the passing of your mother. God rest and bless her soul and give you and your family comfort. Blessed Christmas and peace be with all of you. God bless you.
Thank you Fr. Chris! We are grateful for your teachings and prayers! I always thought to myself that my little NICU patients are Holy Innocents and that I am truly blessed to be with them because of God’s grace! I have assisted in many baptisms. (I have been fortunate enough to donate altar clothes in memory of the Holy Innocents too!) May God bless you, those who are dear to you, all of the Marians and Marian Helpers abundantly always.
How blessed are your little NICU patients to receive your care. I did have a college instructor who taught us to baptise when a miscarriage occurred, but I never worked in that field. God bless you for the work you do. How many little souls have you saved?
thank you. My parents were no saved. I started praying for them at 12. They died without me having any hope. What you said has given me some comfort. Thank you.
God bless you father Chris! The amount of souls you and your crew are saving! I pray for you through the tough times ahead morning your precious mother. God and Mother Mary will help guide you and your family through all the pain and grief. We love you and pray for you everyday. Gail S
I was sickened when I realized how our innocence has been perverted under the guise of human rights and acceptance. The devil is crafty. Who would dare say no to acceptance and human rights?... then wrongs are slipped in a little at a time until they're normalized because noone wants to be the one to speak out against anyones rights or worthiness until it becomes a complete mockery of what it claims to be.
A Blessed Feast Day of the Holy Family to all our brothers and sisters. My deepest condolences to you dear Fr. Chris on the passing of your beloved mother. Eternal rest grant unto her soul and let the perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace.
Praying today for those babies who have died without baptism, being mindful of the knowledge that God, in His infinite mercy, is outside of time so all our prayers are listened to by our Father. Thank you for sharing diary passage 1698. What’s your opinion Father Chris on the age of reason being seven years old? To me, that seems like a young age, especially if it is a child who has not had a lot of guidance and exposure to sound moral teaching. God, please give me the strength and patience to continue to pray for family members who have fallen away and worse are resistant.
Very grateful to you Father Chris for you speech about the Holy Innocents. I truly hope God repossesses their souls after an abortion, still death, and young children that died through sickness at a very young age because they have no sins but I would agree they need our prayers to see God’s shining light in Heaven and walk towards it. God bless you Father Chris.
Lord hear my prayers being a single parent is one of the most difficult job in the world especially because both of my sons have special needs. Lord I will lean on you to renew my spirit each and every day grant me courage while I struggle to provide for my sons. Every month is a battle to pay my bills. Take away my stress and anxiety. In Jesus name I pray.💕
I’m from Australia and I listen to you all the time. You are amazing fr Chris . May I ask that every one please pray for my family my husband and two boys because what you are talking about right now sounds like how my family are I’m not sure if they believe or not my youngest shuts me down when I speak about god my oldest seems to believe and pray but will not go to church at all nether will my husband so may I ask for prayers so that they may all convert and come back to Christ. Thank you so much and may god bless each and everyone of you amen 🙏
I have hope that unbaptized babies are in Heaven because Jesus says, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Since God is not limited by the sacraments, I have hope that they are with Him in Heaven❤️🩹
Thank you, Fr. Chris, for your informative & encouraging talk on the Holy Innocents. May God bless, strengthen & protect you in your ministry. God bless the Marians.
Thankfully, we have been given the grace of this Jubilee Year to leverage the grace of forgiveness. We also have the annual grace to leverage forgiveness every Devine Mercy Sunday! We also have Purgatory! Being Catholic is AWESOME 👌

1:04:48 Dear Father Chris and Divine Mercy community, this is Father Shannon Collins discussing the Partridge in a Pear Tree. Wow amazing, I have never heard this one that I can remember. He is one of my favorite priests, next to you, Father Chris!!
Thank you, Father Chris, for this lesson today. You may never know but God knows how much your words have meant to me. Praise God for the wonderful gift of your priesthood 🙏
Father, this is only 27mins on your podcast on Spotify. just informing you for people like me who listen there instead of watching here on TH-cam. and thanks Father Chris for being strong, teaching us in the midst of mourning. God bless you!
Thank you For Chris, for all the powerful talks that has inspired so many around the world. I am grateful been inspired by your talk. From Papua New Guinea
Many thanks, Father, for always presenting us with information and truths that inspire us and embolden our faith. May God bless you abundantly. (Australia)
Thanks for your explanation on limbo and problem of unaided babies. Today my rosary will be for all unaided aborted children, whether deliberate or not.
It was easier before, now the church asks us to have parents, godparents to assist a cathecism each time you baptize. In the Parrish it’s highly complex. I’m 77 years old, I do not accept the responsibility for being a godfather. In the other side of town it’s a two hour drive and it’s not once. I remember baptizing my daughter in her incubator as a premie.
I would imagine God in His infinite mercy only expects from us that we give Him our best effort in our efforts to bring souls to Him. He. He knows what is in our hearts.
Thanks Father Chris! I really appreciate your preaching here, all the insights you brought to us this Holy Day, man. Thanks brother! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025! JV Johnny ⚾⚾
Very well done talk, Father. Have you considered using Spanish sub titles for your talks? You could educate even more!!! Thank you and keep it up! God bless!
My 18 year old son just came to me and agreed to be baptised if we get a kitten! We shook on it, I'll believe it when I see it, of course, but it might just be an answer to my prayer. He asked, "What would we call it?" and I said, "Mary". Lord, if I'd had him baptised sooner, I wouldn't be worrying over how to toilet train a kitten😮
Thank you Father Chris for the session on the HOLY INNOCENTS, I learned so much about the whole situation that I had never known before. It was very interesting and explained a lot of mysterious things that were great to learn about. I hope your Christmas was Merry and wish you a very HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR, in 2025. I love to hear you explain the Faith, you do it extremely well and very informative. Thanks, Maria.
Thank you for this inspiring talk Father Chris. My mum lost two babies who were stillborn in the 60s, when the belief was that they went and remained in limbo because they were unbaptized. Now I realize this is not the case. I wish I could share this with my mother but sadly at 89 she suffers from dementia and would not understand this. But it’s brought a huge sense of peace over me. Thank you!
My birthday is tomorrow so I've always felt a closeness to this feast! ❤ I'm so excited you did this talk! As always, looking forward to your work with Daniel O'Connor!
Amen‼️ Thank you Father for another great and informative talk. May God continue to Bless you as you continue your journey in teaching Gods’ children. Peace ☮️ be with you and with your Spirit 🕊️
Thank you, too, Father Chris for explaining what is limbo, etc. I remember hearing about limbo as a child and never knew what it is. I understood it as a temporary place before the birth and death of Christ. Now, it’s clearer than ever that limbo was not now what I understand as “ the noon of Abraham” where Jesus went to to those who were not condemned to hell.
Thank-you, Fr. The truth is ALWAYS refreshing, if painful for some, and those willing to directly state it rare. Don't think people realize theses of all the books of 'The Holy Bible' to be about GOVERNMENT/POLITICS from the view of God as directed to humanity. Seems odd how such simplicity is missed in this modern time.
What a fantastic talk-Fr Chris !! But where have you been-I have watched lots and lots of these videos, but you seem not to do so many nowadays ?? As a big fan of these talks-I have missed you !!
Thank you Tony and God bless you! Unfortunately as the provincial Superior I do travel a lot but whenever I am in town I will do these talks. God bless you and stay tuned for more coming!
I read a lot on early Church history and can't remember just where I got this. Apparently, Armenian history says that when Joseph took Mary and child to flee to Egypt, he put safely outside of town but had to return for supplies for them to travel and Joseph witnessed some of this. Whoa!!
Dear father dont know the whole story but a man approched me and asked me why did a priest not want to baptise his still born son he is very angrey and does not want to have anything to do with the church dont know what to say to himgod bless from ireland❤❤❤
Long time ago my mother had conjoined twins at home assisted by a midwife the babies suffered trauma and they didn’t last long the midwife baptized them before they died 🙏
Merry Christmas and a happy New year. Fr. Chris. How would I buy the bracelet am from Thika(outside Nairobi)Kenya? I have had 3 miscarriages, pls pray for my unborn. Thank you for the great lessons.
I watched a video with Fr Joseph Iannuzzi, Theologian, on Divine Will Era, he was asked a question about Limbo. I don't want to quote him, in case I get it wrong.
The desire of the parents to have their child baptized is dispositive, not causative. The parents’ desire for baptism for their unborn child doesn’t infuse sanctifying grace within the soul of the child. The desire of the parents is dispositive in the sense that it’s necessary for the Church to agree to baptize the healthy child so that they’re not going to be raised in heresy. I don’t mean in any way whatsoever to offend anyone who’s lost a child without baptism. My point is that God doesn’t owe heaven to any of us. We won’t be able to tell God with any sort of truth behind it that it’s unfair that so and so didn’t make it to heaven. My response to the statement that we entrust them (unbaptized infants) to the mercy of God holds very true. They’re not going to Gehenna (the Hell of the damned), so God certainly is merciful. They don’t go there, but to the fringe of Hell where the flames don’t reach and they have perfect natural beatitude with a level of happiness greater than Sts. Adam and Eve had before the fall. The distinction with the Holy Innocents is that they were specifically martyred in hatred of Christ. The overwhelming vast majority of aborted children are murdered for the sake of convenience.
Yes that is correct. We were referring to God's accepting the intercessory prayer for the grace to be given but we did not say it was guaranteed Grace. God bless
Hi father Alar. I am not a reader but would love to buy your books. Especially the one of Devine Mercy. Are your books audiobooks? If not would you consider to do Audiobooks please. 🙏🏼♥️
Personally, I believe in Limbo. Even in Exodus 13:13, God the Father implores the Jews that every firstborn of man, and some beasts, even - like the donkey which served man - be brought to the Temple within 40 days so they may be “purified”, and that they “may be mine”. That, is a clear distinction between those not yet free of original sin and those who are free, and those who, because of original sin, are (sadly) still under the domain of Satan, because original sin has not been removed. It also kills dead the idea, from some Protestants, that we should wait until we are older and can decide whether or not to be Baptised. Tho those Bible Christians I say - go read Exodus! I’d like to think we don’t know everything, and that perhaps, at the last Judgement, those unbaptised may have a Baptism of desire, but we can never know…
Thank you but somebody previously answered that in good detail. Purgatory is for detachment and purification of the soul and preparation for heaven. Limbo is an unofficial Doctrine as a place for the unbaptized
I'm glad that Limbo isn't Church doctrine and we don't need to believe in it. Unlike Purgatory, the Catechism does not teach anything about this mythical place. It seems fitting that our All-Merciful Savior would have a way to cleanse the souls of unbaptised children upon their death. Perhaps he baptizes them himself at heaven's gate and then sets them on his lap and makes them feel safe and loved. Limbo is nonsense... and the Catechism doesn't say we can't deny it.
Limbo isn't Church doctrine and we don't need to believe in it, whereas Purgatory is Church doctrine. Purgatory is a purification process that is within the realm of heaven, while limbo is supposedly separate from heaven and hell. Souls in Purgatory will eventually see the Beatific Vision, while souls in limbo will not - they're stuck there forever. Purgatory has Scriptural basis, while limbo does not. Limbo is supposedly this nice place for unbaptised children who can't enter heaven because they still have the stain of original sin. The Catechism does not teach anything about this mythical place! It seems fitting that our All-Merciful Savior would have a way to cleanse the souls of unbaptised children when they die. Perhaps he baptizes them himself at heaven's gate and then sets them on his lap and makes them feel safe and loved. Limbo is nonsense... and the Catechism doesn't say we can't deny its existence.🙏🌹
Fr. Chris, before Jesus rose the young girl from the dead, He said she was not dead but asleep. Since dreaming is a part of sleep, why won't Jesus meet them in their dreams, in this Limbo state of being, to allow them to choose to grow closer or further from Him? This would be why we must pray for them during this encounter with Jesus Who is not limited to time and space and can meet any soul where they are at.
Father Chris, my mother had a miscarriage once and I don’t think the fetus (or whatever human parts of a fetus even just beginning its growth 45 was baptized. So what happens? I know that time does not exist beyond life as we know it here on earth, so could I pray for such babies so they can have an opportunity to go to heaven?
Here's my question. I am in state of grave sin and won't be allowed confession because I have to get married first in the Catholic Church. If I am to die without confession would that mean I go straight to hell? Thank you and God bless.
How can you be a Chtistian & not have your children BAPTIZED. EVEN if you are under the mistaken idea that you want uour children can choose for themselves. Go to church, get your chrildren baptized & when they are adults if they turn away from God, then you must keep praying for them & you will not be held respondible.
The church does not believe in double predestination which would mean God has already determined the soul will go to heaven or hell. God gives everybody the grace for salvation but it is up to us to cooperate with it. That is free will
I remember a priest preaching about how we should never give up praying for the souls of those who are deceased who might have died in mortal sin, because God hears our prayers from the foundation of time and can apply our prayers to that person at the moment of their death and save them.
So if we have any loved ones that have died and we’re not sure about their salvation, keep on praying for them!
O , how I pray this world comes to the Catholic faith...we all will be in heaven
Soon, it will happen.
A friend from work died from a massive heart attack at home and at the moment of his death, I was at home and got a strong feeling that I had to say the Divine Mercy Chaplet for him and I did. I found out the next day that he had died and what time and I believe that saying that helped his soul as St Faustina said it would. 🙏🏻
Bless you Father Chris, I am discovering your videos after rediscovering God's love after a long hiatus. Thank you, from India

Prayers for you and your family
My birthday is tomorrow so I've always felt a closeness to this feast! ❤ I'm so excited you did this talk!

God Bless you, with your very busy schedule you always give us very beautiful episode of explaining the faith.
Thank you! You too!
Thank you father Chris,HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thank you, too, Father Chris for explaining what is limbo, etc. I remember hearing about limbo as a child and never knew what it is. I understood it as a temporary place before the birth and death of Christ. Now, it’s clearer than ever that limbo was not now what I understand as “ the noon of Abraham” where Jesus went to to those who were not condemned to hell.
Amen Fr Chris
Super helpful Father! Heard the conclusion but never heard the rationale behind it. Thanks so much!
Thank you for the teaching of the truth. This gives us hope.
Ty
The video clearly states the father should have done the baptism.
Public comment was added to the comment section of this video, just for the engagement.
Long time ago my mother had conjoined twins at home assisted by a midwife the babies suffered trauma and they didn’t last long the midwife baptized them before they died 🙏
For my baby lost for abortion and their momos and daddys🙏😇
Fathet chris. I wish you can also talk soon about why is there an easter. Church. How they become separated from us?
Yes, thank you 😊
I am more confused now than I ever was
Personally, I believe in Limbo. I’d like to think we don’t know everything, and that perhaps, at the last Judgement, those unbaptised may have a Baptism of desire, but we can never know…
Father Chris what is the difference between limbo and purgatory?
Father Chris, you’re God sent. How can an ordinary person give baptism of desire to to aborted babies who died years ago?
Thank you but that is more of an intercessory prayer asking for God to give them the grace that they would have gotten at baptism
Thank you Fr Chris. I am a bit confused about Limbo. What is the difference between Purgatory and Limbo? Are there 2 places between Heaven and Hell?
Definitely. Human life begins at the first moment of conception
Go to church, get your chrildren baptized & when they are adults if they turn away from God, then you must keep praying for them & you will not be held respondible.
the declining population is mind blowing.
Thank you but that is the declining growth rate not the actual population itself. God bless
@@DivineMercy_Official i see thank you father!
philippines is below replacement like 1.5 instead of 2.1
Wouldn't God working salvation in someones soul be predestination?
The church does not believe in double predestination which would mean God has already determined the soul will go to heaven or hell. God gives everybody the grace for salvation but it is up to us to cooperate with it. That is free will
