Nice setup!! Some of our Conder Overlands had struts which were too long and this caused the top shell to open too far and "pull" on the tent fabric to keep the fold out floor slightly raised. We have the correct size struts and can ship them to you - just email support@roofnest.com. thanks for the great video and hope you're enjoying your Condor Overland!!
HI, THANK YOU FOR THIS REVIEW VERY GOOD ONE..... ABOUT YOU RE PROBLEM, IT IS EASY TO FIXE IT JUST TAKE A RATCHET STARP FROM THE MIDDLE BETWEEN THE LADDER AND STRAP TO YOU RE TIRE... WITH THE RATCHET YOU GONNA PULL DOWN THIS PART OF THE FLOOR....
Thanks for the tip! RN actually commented on this video saying they sent "some" tents out w the wrong struts. They sent me the correct ones free of charge just need to contact them
@stevelewis5783 hi I did, I'll get u the # when I get home. But I put it back to stock recently, adding the "correct" struts makes the tent sag in the middle, there is too much fabric with the shorter struts. We had a big problem last time we camped in the rain
Thanks Joshua, we got it from syneticusa.com (also on amazon) it's the cheapest retractable cover I could find. I bought two pairs of their bed racks. It's solid
Great video. I am running into the same issue where I can’t insert the awning pulls on the side of the tent facing the truck cab. How did you end up resolving that?
I have the issue (with a different tent and truck). I ended up tying paracord to the rain fly grommets and then tying them off to the truck. Works great.
Wanted one of these, but once we roll up to the site, we stand up in the truck bed to get stuff out (tossing wood to the fire pit; extra duffels, or shovels, for example). Not willing to crawl underneath the "tent floor."
Only new issue I've had other than what was mentioned is that the seams leak when it rains, they sent me some seam sealer to apply, haven't done it yet. Also the struts started rusting, but I'm sure it's just cosmetic.
@@HappyRockOffroad in this day and age, you'd think the mfg could tape the seams. Thank you for this information, I will wait before purchasing and see if these 3 flaws get corrected.
The problem with this tent @10:51
RN says the tent will break in eventually

Great review! What kind of tonneau cover are you using with the tent? Looks like a solid setup.

Thanks jeff I'll report back when I figure out a solution, probably have to move the insertion points a little further out

Doesn't hurt

Where was this campground at? It kinda looks like Camp Edison @ Shaver.
Hey its in idyllwild. CA
What bed rack do you have the tent mounted to?
Hi we bought it from syneticusa.com
@@HappyRockOffroad I see you have the matching Tonneau cover too. Can you do a review on this setup. Thanks
Did you buy extra crossbars?
Yes I have two sets
is this the XL?
Not the XL
What cover is that for the overland?
Hey It's a custom cover from coversandall.com , Just plug in your tents outer dimensions
How's it holding up?
