We love to watch!!! Clay your knowledge and Stephanie’s sense of humor is amazing. The fact that you guys make a wonderful team really shows in the quality of your show. Keep up the great job you both are doing. Love Stephanie’s recipes !!!
Clay, you are the quintessential teacher my friend. This was an awesome video that kept me interested and entertained from beginning to end. It took me back to the day we all went out on it! What a day! Keep making these videos!
Great Job Clay! Maybe while the fishing is slow you could have a show about why you use the equipment you use, what you bought before that failed you. How to tie the knots you use. Why you use the rods and reels you use etc.
Great boat Clay. Thank you for teaching us how a real fishing boat should be built. Ocean boat. I never knew about the areas around the Keys. So very cool!
Gus is a good guy and I know he has helped Contender come up with some cool designs (i.e. integrated fwd seating, etc.); unfortunately Gus's territory is only for the Keys and service of your boat has to be an essential element in the decision of buying a boat of this caliber. Enjoy your boat, the 39st is one of the best in her class.
Love that contender and hope Stephanie loves real estate my wife owns a real estate company in south Ms and we spend a lot of time in the water here and around the pan handle but plan to run into you guys in your waters real soon.thanks for all you guys do.
Thank You for all your videos I always dream of one day too, I used to live in Hialeah and we went down to the Keys in the 60s fishing on the bridges and renting boats now and then, things have come a long way but fishing thrill still seems the same. Thank You 😎
Awesome vid. It really helps people new to boats narrow down what we will eventually be looking for once we make our way down to the Gulf. We wish you continued success. God bless.
In My Opinion The 39 ft Contender running 3 400hp Mercs is the perfect boat. Running 70mph in a 39 foot boat is flying‼️⛴ I'm jealous, You take great care of your boat, GOOD LUCK AND STAY SAFE ON THE WATER‼️‼️. Vinny 🇺🇸
I wish I could have mine in my house to be able to keep it that clean (live in a condo). Two things I noticed. If those are extra life jackets then disregards but, if those are primary then you might want to use another hatch as if you were to be sinking and your electronics fail then you won’t be able to retrieve them. The other thing I noticed and I’m not 100% sure about it is that the guy that does my electronics mentioned that you should not have the transducer on if you are out of the water as it will overheat and fail. Just my two cents. Love the boat, love the channel. Keep it up!
Excellent boat, great tutorial. So much information. People, add you “algorithmic” words to pump up Life By the Bow!!!

Yes! I loved the part where I was seeing the waterline showing when moving halfway underwater and the waterline was moving up and down and sometimes even higher! I also love seeing the waterline showing the second time when halfway underwater and above water and then slowly moving all the way underwater from halfway underwater and above water! Stephanie I also love the way you hold your breath and swim underwater at the same time! You look pretty nice and beautiful on that video wearing a bikini swimsuit! Life jackets under the electric actuated coffin box may not be the best spot. Need quick and easy access. Gorgeous boat and enjoy the vids. Keep up the high quality work!
Hey guys! Love love love the boat and best of luck with it! My husband and I found your channel a few weeks ago. Inspired by what we saw, we booked a week in Key West this March. I want to rent a boat for a day and was looking for some recommendations. TY!!
Very professional and complete review Clay. In keeping with your ocean fishing smarts’ we see in all your videos.. your logic and sound choices in kitting’ out this beauty were well reasoned. The way you take care of your gear, she will serve you well for years and fuel a ton more great videos. Really well done! Thanks.
Yeah bro...every gunwale and transom rod holder on my boat is also a cup holder. This makes sense as we are not always fishing...but we always have a crew of drinkers on board. LOL. Also the pop up cleats. My boat is a 1996 Marlin 350 SF and these came from factory with the same exact pop up cleats. Also the Marlin boats have no wood in the construction, this is rare to find in boats built in the 1990's. I think Intrepid was also one of the few builders that used no wood back then. My boat is 26 years old and the deck is as solid as concrete.
Oh clay oh Stephanie,,, I so did not do something right lol, nice video, I guess I can still live vicariously through you guys lol til next time bye 👍🙏❤️😎
I noticed the pin/stick anchor @15:15. Do you find it helpful in shallow water with the Contender? Getting ready for our Blackfin 272cc and are looking at shallow water solutions for the sandbars (other than the stern anchor). I contacted motorized pole manufacturers and they said their products would not work for the size and weight combo.
Amazing boat and great layout. You have both worked very hard to get where you are today so congratulations to you both. Hope y’all continue to enjoy the boat. Safety, success and prosperity for you both in the new year. Micky C
Could do a video on how to do an install on marine audio systems? And give us your perspective on Best quality Amps and speakers? Oh yeah by the way we made it out to the sandbar on Friday awesome weather!
Have you considered running a Sharrow propeller? Would like to see them on used long term by someone other than a testing boat. Supposed to offer huge mpg increase and lower speed to get on plane.
Bro! That’s an awesome rig! We are getting a few boats together and buddy boating over to the Bahamas this summer! I’m bringing a 2019 26’ CC Cobia with twin 150’s so you would need to take it ez on me with all that power your pumping out! lol 😂 Would love for y’all to join! 😎🤙🏼
Clay, this is a beautiful boat. Perfectly thought out. I'm not sure if you mentioned the hours on the engines. I know you have serviced as needed. Also, if still available, approximate price to purchase.
do you keep the boat on the water or trailer it back home? also, i was told open bow boats tend to take in more water which leads to it sinking..is that true? love your boat BTW!
Love the boat. Love the house. Love the channel. Enjoy them all in good health. Just curious about the approx price of this boat as shown if you don't mind saying.
What was the cost of this boat to have it on the water 💦 Just to let you both know, I enjoy watching your TH-cam videos very much. Thanks for all the details information that you both provide.😊
Thanks for sharing the video of your beautiful boat. I am a future offshore fisherman. I have been wi down shopping for my first center console. Any suggestions for a first starter boat? Unfortunately I can't afford a Contender like yours, but if I win the lottery you would have a twin boat brother....
Amazing - you guys make me want to get a boat and move south - any recommendations I have no idea about boating - where should I start? Or should I just stay away leave it to the professionals
Depends on how you like to fish, how often you are going to use it. If you are only going out a hand full of times a month then pay for a guide/charter. If you are going to party it up every weekend go out fishing during the week after work then buy a boat.
hello my friend I like to watch all you videos !!!!! Hey Clay, wanted to know why you guys sold this boat? I watch all your videos I didn’t see any info if you guys were planning on getting a newer one etc. thanks!!
Nice boat but I could never do a long stay anywhere without at a minimum a small bathroom down below. I am way past squatting over a hole on the beach or a bucket on deck.
This guy comes across as a real professional that knows what he's doing. Beautiful boat man 🍾🍾
Thanks so much! Much appreciated
Yes, that's the video I have been waiting on, my new 32 has twin merc 400s..your boat is beautiful...here's to many years of catching fish, thanks

Our transducer for panoptix live scope turns itself off when you pull it out of the water. Not sure what his is but maybe it does the same.

I like the sticks when it’s calm and no current. But in the heavy stuff I suggest an anchor.

How much does this boat cost?
The charts from Florida Marine Tracks are the best!!! I run on Simard. FYI...does not work on Garmin.
do you keep the boat on the water or trailer it back home? also, i was told open bow boats tend to take in more water which leads to it sinking..is that true? love your boat BTW!
How many hours have you put on the merc's in a year?

Can only imagine how much it cost
Great walk through Clay! Would love to have a boat that size, but not within my price range. Do you fish boxes drain overboard or into the bilge?

New $800k, used right near 600k.

Great boat!!! What was the price as is configured ?
Levente the way his is equipped, he is probably in the $450-550k range would be my guess.
I’m curious to know the reason of the 4 blade prop in the middle motor
Probably to combat cavitation from the outside 2 engines, gives the middle prop more "bite" in turbulent water.
Awesome boat! Am I the only one that was expecting a toilet under the console?
Are the console screens the Garmin 8622 or 24s ?
Thanks for the video

Hey George you can certainly have a portable installed.
thats a nice boat... It this one in 300-350k price range as I just found on google? One day I'll join your team! One day soon! :)
Much more that $350K I am afraid...way north of $500K these days.
@@hectorallanrivera9334 on their side its says 350K but since this one is custom build it might be more :)

Buy a cabinncruser
I noticed that the 2 outboard engines have a 3-blade prop, and the center has a 4-blade prop. What is the benefit of that??
Just better performance 👍🏼
