I became a fan because of how "real" life appears for you Huub and how you share with your viewers. Finding Daniela was a stroke of fortune for you both...you are her happiness as well. She is very beautiful, yes, but also she is what binds you to happiness in the daily adventure of life. Her real beauty is inside. She brings out the best in you and the life of today. You seem to be that for her as well. Happy for both of you.
My house is up for sale. I sold nearly everything else except my truck and I plan to find a sailboat and hit the November season in the Bahamas on my own boat!
Watching your relationship develop is just as enjoyable as seeing the places you go. Take care of each other and take us along for the ride. Nothing more is needed.
Been following you for a few years now, you seem very happy and comfortable with the sailing ⛵️ adventures. Dani's a pure soul and she seems to be a great companion in your life as well as a fine boating apprentice. Happy trails ⛵️!
Hi. I normally don't like to comment however, you seem so happy with this girl that it is obvious you enhance each others lives at this current time! I hope it continues, but if it doesn't, each, be happy for what you are getting out of this relationship now. So happy to see you flourishing in your new adventures. Previously married, am single and loving it, am from Puerto Rico raised in Massachusetts, U.S.A. love all!
Outstanding rainbow. Beautiful drone, scenery, and water footage as usual. Not only is your first mate an anchor master it looks like now she is an apprentice sail-marker as well. Thanks for sharing.
Also, I forgot to add. If you have a storm jib, have you thought about hoisting it up the back stay, provided it's not too long on the luff. If this fits ok then you need to tie it hard back by the clew to a strong point near the foot of the mast. This also worked superbly for me on a 30 ft boat in the '70s and on a ketch I had too, although the ketch had a small custom mizzen sail for the job All these ideas cut down rolling in an anchorage. Hope a solution there for you. Happy nights!! David
Hey Huub & Daniella, I have been a fan for years now Huub, but as Daniella becomes more confident in her English it’s been fun to see her personality come through. You guys are a great team! To answer your question Huub, I have a 30’ Albin Balland which is not ready for your type of sailing yet, but when it is I have to try to see Dominica personally. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us! R/ Jim Grigsby Virginia Beach
Love seeing you guys. You both show such a genuine joy together. It’s heart warming. Personally I hope to join the sailing life. Destinations such as New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Svalbard, Norway, and the Pacific Islands are on the list.
For the roll Fill your dingy with water and hang it 90° off the boat with the boom. Or there's "rock n roll stabilizer" or the " flopper stopped". I believe project Atticus used one for a while in the Mediterranean
Huub, sail to Panama, san blas, bocas del toro and Almirante where I loved in the 1950's. Then around the world. Glad to see Dani getting more comfortable on camera and her english improvement and I love the Spanish mixed in. God bless you both
Hi Huub and Daniela, nice episode getting more and more professional at it each time. My dream is to rent boat for 3 months and if all is well buy one. Tip for next video; I suggest Daniela you talks more Spanish in the episodes when you talking about how you feels. Especially muy interesante y también puedes poner translaciones en inglés. Gracias para todos. I became a patreon to support you2. Saludos and favorable winds, Jan
hey huub , that was cute and endearing capturing Daniela's PDA ( public display of affection) . Great sailing partner who's not afraid of hardwork and quick learner with a sense of humor. Huub lucky to be sailing with a " Real Boat Girl" - "Danny" ( lol ) .
My future plan. Next year I retire at age 67. Then I will start sailing again full time. And as I travelled the world on business for the better part of my live so far and never really explored my home country, I will sail in Holland. The lakes, the islands and the coast.
I wish those options had have been available when I was your age Huub. I should also mention what a lovely partner you have, shes a lovely girl. Well done.
This was very beautiful. I enjoyed this video. Such beautiful scenery and the bubbles under the ocean floor and the sound they make so interesting and beautiful enjoy life together. You guys are really cool 👍🌞🏖️❤️🤟🤟
Asia please. I love the channel. My wife is working in Malaysia. Last year we went on an island tour off Thailand and I've wanted to live on a boat ever since. She's warming up to the idea and we're saving
Hi to you Both, great videos......so, you don't like rolling at anchor. Well, I have a simple answer for that, and easy to make-------flopper stopper(s) I cruised in company in Med with a young guy on a 28ft Vega who had made some simple flopper stoppers and he just suspended them from the main boom and spinnaker pole once he'd anchored. It worked superbly and his rolling was greatly reduced. I now have a trawler yacht (in Turkey) but spend several years with her in Asia, travelling probably 25,000 miles and made up a set of flopper stoppers and poles in 2011 and used them everywhere an anchorage was rolly and they work superbly, usually I only need to deploy one though. To make, cut out one or two equal triangles in 18mm ply about 500mm on each side, with your boat 400mm would probably be sufficient. Drill a hole in each corner, and attach about a equal metre of rope from each hole to a swivel. This can then be suspended from which ever boom you want to use. However, this triangle needs to dive each time the boat rolls (in the direction of the side the flopper stopper is deployed,,,,and plywood floats!) so it is necessary to attach a weigh to (any) one corner to make the board dive, in the early days of my experiments, I used a one kilo dive weigh, screwed to one corner of the board. I now have a really nice set made from marine aluminium, with fins which can be towed, but you don't need this. Once the boat tries to roll the other way, the board will "flatten out" and resist the roll. Make sure your halyards are in good condition as you will be surprised how much force is applied to the gear in rolly conditions. Also, ensure the flopper is in the water at least a couple of metres, you certainly don't want it coming out of the water in rolly conditions. To make these a (jig) saw and a drill are all the tools you need. I know this set up will cut down your roll greatly and hopefully give you a better nights sleep----------I assure you they work. David
Huub, bedankt voor weer een leuke video. Ik volg je al een hele tijd en kijk iedere zondag. Ook ik wil gaan zeilen, heb al een geschikte boot gekocht en vertrek over 1 of 2 jaar.
Huub & Danielle, you 2 are as 1 !!! The only thing that I'd like to see is you guys buy a yacht with enough room for us so that we can join you 2 & see the world as you know it & maybe find someone like you did along the way! Love Boat # 2 !!!
Hello Huub... Greetings to both of you to the rhythm of Caleña salsa. I tell you, if you are interested I have three boats for sale for you in Mexico, Pacific coast, the first: Alajuela 33' beauty. 2. 39' Cruz del Sur another wonder. 3. 39' Vagabund Landfall...another marvel. 4. 46' Morgan is not bad at all, but I don't like him personally. I am very far away, Argentina, but attentive as a bald eagle. 💯👌
Hey Huub, check out your very rapid tongue movement when you were using the outboard in shallow water at the river mouth...... hilarious. Suggestion: Get Daniela to do the tricky stuff 👍
You found your solution to your small boat problem.... To find a girlfriend that you could have a relationship with and live on the small boat you currently had and not have to sell it and get a bigger one at much expense.... you went smaller and shorter. lol Chears guys !!!!

Since my 1st view of a vid from this channel, I have binge watched only these 2 Loving Angels.
Build an outrigger type system that can stay attached or be attached to fight the role 💯 😊
Daniela is really gaining confidence your growing as a team beautiful to see. Your going to need a bigger boat for a family young man!

Ive been there! Its not on the planning yet to return...
Is Daniela the most famous Columbian girl now? I still think you need to be thinking about the next bigger boat. Life happens.
Good question!!!
I dated a Colombiana, she could sleep anywhere through anything!
Can't you hang a hammock in there somewhere? No roll in a hammock.
😎
I am amazed that you haven't been stopped by the police or immigration for child trafficking. Daniela looks like 15 yrs old 😀
