365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
180 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and the Dominican Republic
Currently I am #learntosail while #livingonaboat doing #solosailing in the Caribbean

Can punch holes in the non skid can lid to make it easier to spread it on the deck.
I'm exhausted after watching all the work again... It must be bitter/sweet for you to go over it in your heart. You've paid the price, as with most good things in life. The good times have begun.

You may have known nothing about buying a boat but in renovating Limonada you know every inch of her and so much more prepared to fix things when they go wrong now you are sailing. Such an amazing job by you and Djirke. Congratulations!

Such a lovely video Huub so good to look back at all the things you've achieved to get to where you are now, but so sad that your past partner is not still with you as she like you worked so hard to make the boat what it was and she was a lovely funny happy person we miss her a lot and im sure you do Huub. Interesting video showing what all there is that can go wrong with older sailboats. It just so happens that I 3 different sailboats moored in Whitby Harbour where your boat was built, starting in 1973. A Norborg 16, a Nordica 20 and an Eastwind 26

This is a very enjoyable but too brief summary of the building of your boat. Not to negate the amount of work that you did on your boat before Dirkje arrived or to ignore all of the work that you did after she arrived but this video shows that she did a heck of a lot of work on your boat. Seeing how well the two of you worked together and enjoyed each others company, and knowing how much Dirkje meant to you, this video must have been very difficult for you to assemble. :-(

Hi Sherry! Sadly she's not coming back. And ehh, well I dunno, once I bought a boat I knew I was gonna be stuck to it. I sure bought it in a very less condition as was promised to me. But there was no real other choice then just making her in top sail condition again to be able to be cruising this year! I had no idea what i was doing but I learned a lot and now I can make a far better choice to start with one day when I am upgrading to a bigger boat! It's all a big learning process!

Hallo Huub en uiteraard Dirkje, GEWELDIG gewoon je bootje opknappen en dan niet gelijk alles nieuw kopen maar gewoon van oude dingen iets nieuws maken, hoe bedoel recirculatie van spullen is moeilijk top. Ik heb bij alles wat gezien heb uiteraard de zeeer Nederlandse gedachte, hoe betaald hij dat allemaal en wat kost dat om een oudere boot op te knappen en dat je veilig de zee kan bevaren. Idee voor een vlog voor jou waar moet je rekening mee houden als mensen ook dat willen gaan doen wat jij doet op dit moment, wat kost een gemiddelde vaar dag met haven gebruik en hoe kan je in een ver land geld verdienen en of hoe maak je geld om te reizen. En uit ervaring van mij zelf weet ik dat het geld er snel door gaat als iets aan het op knappen bent en of reist en leef in het buitenland. Groet en hoor graag van je vanuit een warm en gezellig Grieks eiland met een veeeeeeelll kleiner bootje . Topper ben je
