The reason I started to watch your videos in the beginning is because you spoke about how your pre eBay business failed. For most, failure is how you learn and gain knowledge to achieve your goals. My money says you will succeed and you will be able to reflect back and watch your videos and have a great sense of accomplishment. When you reach your goals, don’t ever let someone tell you that you are lucky. Luck has nothing to do with real success-

I agree with you 100%. Luck has absolute nothing to do with it. These people just pursue opportunities until one sticks.

I really love this video. One of the best. People don't want to here the truth. It was straight with no chaser. Please ignore those who don't get what you are trying to do here on this channel. I think it's easy to show the highlight reel on social media and reseller spaces for views and clout. Not many channels speak to the business side, hustle, grind, diversification, haters/family/friends noise, highs and lows of being an entrepreneur. I remember old videos where I could tell the stress and noise was getting to you. I knew you had it to make it to the other side if you could get some rest, silence the noise and diversify. I miss your content but always watch when my notifications go off. Keep hustling & silencing the haters while living life on your terms🙌

Thank you for the kind words! I fully believe in speaking to the front of the room because that is where I need to be as well. I am not even sure if they are hating, I just think they don’t conceptually understand what I am talking about. It might be boring and not entertaining to many. But those who are locked-in, or on the same stepping stone as me, are having a-ha moments.

Oh.. I could see it in your eyes during that time. The stress was palpable. I have been there. Just got to keep on keeping on, and you don't even know the path. Terrible stress!

People make mistakes, but they dont want to do mistakes. Only real mistake is to repeat the same mistake and not to learn from it. It's easy to limit doing to prevent making mistakes, but by doing it you start to repeat a mistake. And that mistake is inactivity.

Not gonna lie. this is off the chest as someone who used to watch you that really doesn't care to watch anymore. Figured id tune in here and see what you had to say.
Ive been doing this for literally a year. I was able to bring in enough to pay the bills to replace a single full time income. This is not a failure. This is a success. Failures obviously are part of that success. No sugar coating shit. Focus on the things you can control vs the things you cant eg. economy / car issues / sourcing / etc. You should focus on accountability. Share that with us. eg. My goal was to post 5 items every day this week. Im on track! or im not on track and this what im going to do to get on track....
VERY DEPRESSING LISTENING to you these days. Everyone struggles. Success is not possible without struggles or set backs.

You didn’t watch the video. It is about how failure is good because it teaches you what doesn’t work. It is about trying new things. This year my business will gross $300k. It has provided me with multiple vacations, brand new cars and the ability to start new businesses. I wish you well, but you are off-the-mark with your comment.

@@TheJoshGalt I don't agree sir. I watched about 35 minutes and that was good enough for me. Your overall demeanor is low. There's no passion or positivity. To each their own though. I've been your supporter and this what I'm seeing through my lens. Take the criticism or don't that's on you. Every day is a grind, every day is an adventure. Cheers dude.

I like your content, Josh, though you're increasingly veering into areas I think are problematic. The heart surgeon analogy is wrong. Not everyone can be a good heart surgeon. Even given the opportunity to kill an infinite number of patients, it's not a process of rote learning like riding a bike. You're equating effort with aptitude. Lots of re-seller content now preaches effort as being the key that unlocks re-selling. Trying enough ways to re-sell will eventually lead to success--I agree. But will that success be enough to pay all the bills and fund a retirement. I think someone who nets $65,000 a year re-selling is a huge, enormous success. I can't stress that enough--that's amazing success. But that success might not be enough given the financial climate in southern Ontario. Either way, I wish you the best.
