This was truly a brilliant video. I’ve put together more than a few teas- including a mammoth one for my sister’s bridal shower, but I’m always so wiped out. This actually might make it something I can do more often. Btw- one shortcut that I HAVE done is add a bit of curry and a bit of mango chutney to store bought chicken salad and voila! Curried chicken salad sandwiches!

Large scones can be reduced to pretty rounds w/ a cookie cutter, if you don't mind an open crumb edge.

Lovely alternatives for a no fuss tea.
I host a tea party as the time changes in Autumn. For years I did all the work and had success. But I was tired. Last three parties, I let my guests bring something….but only if they have been before. (First timers bring a clean dry dish towel for cleanup.). Now all I bring is the table settings and the tea. Much more enjoyable for me.😊😊. Invited 28, sitting 18 today, November 5.
