Hello, first off, Kudos to your presentation and the way you explain things. I recently received my CT-2050 and it seems like it' like trying to take a sip from a fire hose. I am not a welder by profession, I am a Golf cart customizer and repair person. I have taught my self to FCAW and wanted to further my learning on how to weld. This is one of the main reasons for choosing this machine, it does most everything I want to learn!! Some carts are steel frame and others are aluminum. Most of my welding is making custom brackets for sound systems and and side steps /running boards and require very neat welds. Also can it be run without the water seperator on the onboard air as its bulky and looks like a easy to break on the go item for people that are mobile and dont run a cart

Awesome video. I did learn a few things from this video. Thank you. I have my welder on order and should receive it next month. I am a total novice beginner welder. Does the welder come with any kind of cheat sheet for the settings? This is for a new hobby hobby for me, to learn a new skill set for personal use on possible projects. I know I will have to go to TH-cam University 🤣😎 to learn how to weld. In my area, we are very limited on welding classes. The main class we do have is at the local community college.

You can run it around 100 psi .that's one of my favorite things about this welder. And u can run the volt pressure at 100 also. Just try anything, this welder is so good it will weld WHAT Eva your thinking. I hope this answers all you questions. If you have any more, don't ask this guy. just ask .me 😅

Do you have to install the oil water separator if you're using the internal compressor ? ❤
If you don't use it for a long time, it is acceptable to forgo installing an oil-water separator.😊
Hey, any idea what size of generator this thing would use? Thinking about slapping it on the back of my truck.

Just got the machine but im missing the captive nut for the air dryer
To be more precise its the piece removed of the oil separator, at 7:45. is missing straight out of the box
