The main prosecutor was absolutely brilliant in the way she handled this case. The judge was also someone every judge should strive to be, but sadly we all know that's not the case many times these days.

Am a trial lawyer myself and my hats off to her closing arguments. I definitely will use some of her techniques. I believe God brought her to prosecute this case to bring justice and peace to late Ahmaud families .
Her argument was strong but her presentation was a put off. It was the incriminating statements the defenders made after the incident that nailed them, not the genius of the prosecutors.

Regardless of the preparation for closing one cannot fake their commitment & empathy, it was evident you put your heart & soul to assure Ahmund Arbery, family, & the community received the justice they deserved. You are and the entire team are heroes, but your heartfelt prosecution of these three animals secured conviction. These Prosecutors have got their act together. They look at this not only from the human standpoint but they keep the mechanics of their practice front and center as evidenced by their comments about the defense having to do what they did to successfully defend their clients. You could say the lead prosecutor was holding back tears in some of those images and closing argument. It was hard for everyone. I was following from work and I will tell you, it was heavy for me to see those images for the first time closely. Thanks to these team of wonderful lawyers.
These three amazing prosecutors deserve to eat LUXURY for the rest of their life for bringing justice for Ahmuad Abrey and his family, on a trail that has gone on for too LONG. I’m so proud of this prosecution’s presentation and delivery. They explained the law clearly and it was easy enough for a small child to understand. Kudos to them for doing a tremendous job of explaining why those 3 people had no right even talking to Ahmaud let alone trying to stop him and interrogate him.

Linda Dunikoski was magnificent, Law Schools should use her cross examination of Travis McMichael and her closing as a learning resource on how to systematically dismantle a defence and for the dignity it afforded Ahmaud Arbery's memory.
Frankly it was an extremely simple cross examination. First year law (im a lawyer) covers that much. It was just that the defense had a paper thun case. She just had to ask very straight forward questions about his actions, and the witnessed actions of Arbery, and McMichaels was trapped by the truth. Almost poetry, after trapping Arbery and killing him. These aren't intelligent people. They thought the video exonerated them. She performed incredibly, but they were their own worst enemy.
@@stonehorn4641 I've spent enough time in a courtroom to know how easy it is to alienate a jury. She managed to demonstrate the racial motivation in a clearly racially motivated case without mentioning racism to an almost white jury in the face of race baiting and victim blaming.

And also if you look at the raw videos of the cops it's shocking to see how solicitous they were towards the perps, they didn't even restrain them and let them walk around. I've seen people treated harsher for asking for directions! This prosecution team was awesome. But the path this case took before charges were pressed is as appalling as the crime itself.
I think the verdict was uncertain for a few charges (mainly the ones for Roddie) but in the end of the day I like to think without hesitation they found these men guilty of murder.
Point taken -- the outcomes sometimes don't seem to be fair. But actually, America is the least biased country in its legal system. It's world-renown for fair processing and many people feel the system is too lenient as the liberals demand more and more individual rights that infringe on the majority. Believe me, you wouldn't want to commit a crime or even a misdemeanor in another country. But sometimes a jury finds according to the facts where the public 'feels' they have come to the wrong conclusion. Just like with the OJ trial -- the world pretty much feels they made a mistake. But the prosecution simply didn't make its case. As well, unknown to the jury, a similar crime took place in OJ's neighborhood 2 years before he and Nicole even lived there. The judge ruled that inadmissible and having no bearing on the case. If you ask me, that has a lot of bearing. In addition to the glove being way too small, I think the public got that one wrong and the jury got it right. With Arbery, the evidence was on film, but the prosecution would have had a strong case even without that video because the perps pursued an unarmed man without probable cause and then killed him during the commission of unlawfully detaining him. A jury wouldn't need video to apply the law to that set of circumstances. I've been in law for 30 years, not focused on criminal law but it was my major in college.
@@TheOneanjel I feel the same way about the O.J case. Alot of factors to prove his guilt just weren't there. Stabing a person is messy. Stabing two people and not leaving or retaining some kind of blood evidence is almost impossible.

You could say the lead prosecutor was holding back tears in some of those images and closing argument. It was hard for everyone. I was following from work and I will tell you, it was heavy for me to see those images for the first time closely. Thanks to these team of wonderful lawyers.
These three amazing prosecutors deserve to eat LUXURY for the rest of their life for bringing justice for Ahmuad Abrey and his family, on a trail that has gone on for too LONG. The amount of time and effort they have spent to send those men where they belong makes me so happy as a black person. Justice was served!!!

....and these three men clearly knew the Prosecutor had them pinned without any pickups or guns! They knew the outcome of this, unless they could get a dozen racist, deep old South jurors to make those fine old time, blatant decisions, & they nearly pulled it off in managing to get an all white jury from hundreds of possible jurors. That was scary to watch in itself....presto, blacks all gone, but one.

I’m so proud of this prosecution’s presentation and delivery. They explained the law clearly and it was easy enough for a small child to understand. Kudos to them for doing a tremendous job of explaining why those 3 people had no right even talking to Ahmaud let alone trying to stop him and interrogate him.
They crushed it. One of the best states prosecution I’ve ever seen (they also had a lot of damning evidence but they still had to present it to the jury)

Linda Dunikoski was magnificent, Law Schools should use her cross examination of Travis McMichael and her closing as a learning resource on how to systematically dismantle a defence and for the dignity it afforded Ahmaud Arbery's memory.

Frankly it was an extremely simple cross examination. First year law (im a lawyer) covers that much. It was just that the defense had a paper thun case. She just had to ask very straight forward questions about his actions, and the witnessed actions of Arbery, and McMichaels was trapped by the truth. Almost poetry, after trapping Arbery and killing him.
These aren't intelligent people. They thought the video exonerated them. She performed incredibly, but they were their own worst enemy.
@@stonehorn4641 I've spent enough time in a courtroom to know how easy it is to alienate a jury. She managed to demonstrate the racial motivation in a clearly racially motivated case without mentioning racism to an almost white jury in the face of race baiting and victim blaming.

In my opinion, she was outstanding. However, I agree the defense had a terrible case.

This prosecution team was awesome. But the path this case took before charges were pressed is as appalling as the crime itself.
I hope so. She deserves punishment as surely as men who killed Ahmaud deserved it. She needs to be disbarred at the very least.
The GUILT of these men was obvious! But in America where justice is bias the verdict was uncertain!
I think the verdict was uncertain for a few charges (mainly the ones for Roddie) but in the end of the day I like to think without hesitation they found these men guilty of murder.
Point taken -- the outcomes sometimes don't seem to be fair. But actually, America is the least biased country in its legal system. It's world-renown for fair processing and many people feel the system is too lenient as the liberals demand more and more individual rights that infringe on the majority. Believe me, you wouldn't want to commit a crime or even a misdemeanor in another country. But sometimes a jury finds according to the facts where the public 'feels' they have come to the wrong conclusion. Just like with the OJ trial -- the world pretty much feels they made a mistake. But the prosecution simply didn't make its case. As well, unknown to the jury, a similar crime took place in OJ's neighborhood 2 years before he and Nicole even lived there. The judge ruled that inadmissible and having no bearing on the case. If you ask me, that has a lot of bearing. In addition to the glove being way too small, I think the public got that one wrong and the jury got it right. With Arbery, the evidence was on film, but the prosecution would have had a strong case even without that video because the perps pursued an unarmed man without probable cause and then killed him during the commission of unlawfully detaining him. A jury wouldn't need video to apply the law to that set of circumstances. I've been in law for 30 years, not focused on criminal law but it was my major in college.
@@TheOneanjel I feel the same way about the O.J case. Alot of factors to prove his guilt just weren't there. Stabing a person is messy. Stabing two people and not leaving or retaining some kind of blood evidence is almost impossible.
