- I've bought an old Dualshock 2. There is a problem with the left analog stick and this stick is not working properly. Also, the gamepad is too dirty. Let's see can I fix this controller. Dualshock disassembly.
Playstation 2 restoration.
The most common problem I run into is that some of the buttons refuse to work. I take the controllers apart, clean the contacts and they still don't work. Try bridging the contacts with something metal, still no luck. Re-seat the flex circuit, still nothing. No broken traces, no bad solder joints, some buttons simply don't work and I have no idea why.
Clean work ❤️
hello, I have a problem after replacing the analog on the ps2 driver so the analog goes to the front itself and to the left and to the right when I rotate the analogs so everything is good but as soon as I disconnect the driver from the console and reconnect the driver so the same spins and goes alone as again I'll turn the analogues so everything is good I've never had such a thing happen on the ps3, ps4 driver
Hi, what can I say... Try to replace analog stick one more time. I installed one from xbox360 controller and it works.
Hi, I exchanged about 30 of them. analog on ps2 and still the same
@@michaelokooko3151 I had similar problem with ps3 controller. I took it apart and tested without the shell and I found the problem. The problem was so simple - connection between the motherboard and the plastic plate with buttons wasn’t good. So try to do it this way, maybe it will help. Wish you luck.
Do you know where to find these crimp plugs used in the main cable? Igot a DS2 with a faulty cable, shortended it and discovered that the single lines are quite fragile to soldering, So I crimped on standard size crimps, but it looks rather messy (also my connector is looking different, featuring 9 connections)
aesthetic pleasure that something is clean now 😀
Lindo el DualShock 2.
Does it work after all?
Yep, was checked on gta sa, it’s my favorite test.
