I don’t know if this is related, but when I was young I was told ‘violence doesn’t solve anything’ I get the sentiment, but I always thought it wasn’t true, especially looking at history. If you beat your enemy, you’ve won, solved you’re issue. It’s a limitation on aggression, which never has positive effects, only if it’s re-directed to something useful

You just have to look in the actual world for the answer and the debunking of that BS. The State makes people behave in certain ways under the threat of violence (aka jail, or even death). That lie works to nulify men's nature, and empower female nature, leaving men powerless against females, except for those that manage to adapt and thrive in the new environment.

    • @themightydropbear
      @themightydropbear ปีที่แล้ว +75

I was fortunate growing up in that my father was both an educated man, an independent thinker and a combat vet and one of the things that I learned from him is that while violence is very seldom *THE* answer, it is always *AN* answer and that you should always have the ability to utilize violence in your back pocket to back up your position should the need arise. As I grew older I learned that every single aspect of society is upheld by the threat of violence. Perhaps not on a surface level; typically it isn't the threat of violence that keeps us from stealing, raping and murdering (the lion's share of that job falls on internalized morality) but if you do commit a crime against another person, there are consequences and if you escalate things far enough, violence is always a potential consequence. We as a society have largely lost sight of that fact because we have outsourced most of our personal responsibility to the state and other corporate entities and because we were lied to as children about the role that violence actually plays in maintaining social order.

As pointed out, men have been putting aside their feelings to discharge their responsibilities for generations. This is one of the most important traits of which feminimism has taken advantage, essentially throughout its history. Many husbands and fathers have felt great fear of how these concepts may affect their families and loved ones, then were told that these feelings were selfish, patriarchal thoughts and would only hold their loved ones back. Men are generally used to holding back their feelings for the benefit of the group. So, too many men held their tongues, thereby implying consent for the very things they feared. Then these men were forced to watch as their fears were realized. Unhappy daughters and sons who are undervalued. Brothers paying child support and sisters who can't find lifelong companionship.

My mother told me a story about what happened to her in the 1960s. She broke down on the side of the road, flat tire. She pulled out the spare and started messing with the jack when a car full of mechanics pulled up. One leaned out the window and said "Do you need help?" She replied "Yes, thank you!" and he says "Sorry, chivalry is dead." before driving away.
She remained a feminist after that but what I didn't know until much later in my life was just how much those words bothered her. I suspect they bothered her because he was correct.

@jcrunk I'm not at all a hater of women, they're the other half of our species FFS lol... and many of them I know are awesome people. However, this video is spitting facts about something called the "mean avg".... yes there are exceptions to the mean avg and yes the top tier % of women are more logical thinkers and don't get trapped into the modern leftoid/feminist malaise and NO like the video states we don't want to go back to the 1950s...
But something has to balance out here. If the 50s were say like 80/20 maculine/feminine dominance in society... then the 70s-00s where we were more normal in gender roles but wiggle room for women to also have careers and take other paths were 60/40-50/50... we're now 80/20 toxic femine/masculine and it's breaking things apart and this vid is anything but misognyistic because it's asking for a healthy re-balance so we DONT go back to a toxic masculine world and have women's rights stripped.
Because if this doesn't naturally balance back out to something sane and feasible that's what's going to happen and btw to any self hating feminist reading this-- I'm in a healthy relationship with a woman who has a career and she agrees 100% with this video and what I'm posting now as a free thinker so kindly fuck off.

    • @englishsteel-nz6im
      @englishsteel-nz6im ปีที่แล้ว +10

A rebalance that would be feasible for the gender dynamics is not stripping womens rights away, but stripping away ALL preferential treatment as displayed in the video and not having to exist in a reality of walking on egg shells for shaming and petulant emotions. This would go for workplace and elsewhere.
A woman that can work and compete fairly in this environment keeps her place obviously, ones that cannot well back to a more traditional gender role.
This would be equality and if we didn't react or tolerate the attempts and shaming and emotional blows up, they'd take themselves out of the equation with their behaviors.... except for the ones who do not.
      It's just that simple.

    • @englishsteel-nz6im
      @englishsteel-nz6im ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @AzureWolf168 right a modern "rebalance".
It starts tho with equality meaning equality-- 0 preferential treatment or excess protections from regular workplace and social dynamics including not able to clean a man in divorce.
Then ignoring and counter shaming the emotional hissy fit in establishing this.
This is completely fair and realistic btw lol its way better than a far right insano trip down stripping away rights.

    • @englishsteel-nz6im
      @englishsteel-nz6im ปีที่แล้ว

@AzureWolf168 if they're going to explode against being treated equal they expose themselves and take themselves out of employment and favor in society.

Feminism and woke in general is totalitarian, its hipocrisy is baffling, you cannot criticize it or you will get cancelled or banned.
Morality in general, especially justice, is just to abuse it so you can be immoral yourself. Maybe people are all evil, because they cant wait to commit crimes using morality as an excuse to do it.

Personally, I believe feminists are subconsciously driving civilization towards this outcome. On a rational, individual level they may well understand this is undesirable for them, but much like certain fantasies which I will not specify, evolutionary drives often supercede rational desires where women are concerned. When you think about it, the primary downside of modernity, evolutionarily speaking, is the massive decrease in selection pressures, primarily for men. Human evolution has been effectively halted by modernity, but feminism is well on its way to kickstarting natural selection in our species once again, on a massive scale.
Consider that feminism emerged in the Victorian period, which produced some of the most high-maintenance, effeminate men to ever walk this planet. Not all of them by a long shot, but certainly greater numbers than ever existed in recent history, and mainly in the upper classes, where the movement began. Masculinity was not completely gone then but its been in steep decline ever since, arguably thanks to the many social and technological advances that have only accelerated since then. This ease of life created the very opportunities for women to complain about things that would have been luxuries for women in any other time period, like automated housework.
I suspect feminism is ultimately fueled by a deep and inscrutable biological urge to return society to the state of nature. I don't believe women can ever be satisfied by the superficial demands of feminism, which is why the objective seems to keep changing and evolving no matter how much they are given. I believe the collapse of modern society is the ultimate goal, driven by biological necessity, to restore the natural order of evolutionary forces. As most of us can already tell, this is the inevitable direction we are heading towards, after all.

The part about the most "Redpilled" guys being former romantics is so true. A lot of guys start off viewing all women as gentle and beautiful creatures and when they realize the hard way that women can be every bit as terrible as men; it really screws with their heads.
The thing is that most men like (or at least want to like) women. Even though women will often accuse men of not being romantic; that's quite frankly not true. There's a reason why so many songs, movies, and poems about love and romance are written by men. Most guys will admit the little sweet moments like squeezing a girl's hand and having her squeeze it back or her resting her head on shoulder can make you feel almost as good about yourself as sex can. Maybe not quite as much, but those moments are often a little easier to come by.
My biggest problem problem with Feminism and the attitudes of many modern women is that they don't seem to understand that actions have consequences and sometimes you have to pick between two mutually exclusive things. For example, I have read articles written by women about upper middle class and wealthy career women who are angry that there aren't enough men who make as much money as they do while at the same time complaining that not enough women are in their positions. So they want women to earn more than men, but at the same time mad at men for not earning more money than they do. I see women raging that there aren't more women in STEM or other careers dominated by men throw absolute fits when asked why they don't try to enter those careers. I also see women who will date the biggest pieces of shit because they're pieces of shit; not even in a "I can change him" way, but "Sociopaths do it the best" way, but then rant about all men need to do better and take their anger out on the type of guys they would never date or sleep with to act better and feel like they're to blame. Or women who will talk openly and graphically about sex using language usually found in, ahem, "corn" to describe sex, but who will clutch their pearls if the word "boner" is utter in their presence. I remember on Tumblr seeing young women take rather explicit nudes of themselves with captions like "Don't sexualize my vagina". Don't sexualize your sex organs?
Hey, I believe in freedom and I believe in individuality. Have as much or as little sex as you like with whomever you want as often as you want. As long as you aren't hurting anyone; it's nobody's business. Try for any career you want and you should be allowed to succeed or fail according to your ability. And even only a small percentage of women might be suitable for a certain job; you might be part of that small percentage.
But understand cause and effect. If you earn more than most men either be willing to date a man who earns less or be willing to accept you might not find a man who fits your criteria. If you want to date guys who spend their entire lives in and out of prison for violent crimes; understand that you or people you care about might get to experience some of that violence. Understand that telling guys who don't beat or rape women not to beat or rape women is not going to stop women from being beaten or raped. Understand that if you ignore nice guys (actual nice guys, not door mats or "Supreme Gentlemen" types) and sleep with douchebags; you take away the incentives for being a nice guy and give an active incentive for being a douchebag. Understand that if you go around explicitly talking about sex; some people might talk about sex explicitly in your presence. The modern world is disgusting, and I refuse to engage with it for the most part. It has been disgusting to me ever since I was a child in the post-communist Romania of the 1990's.

I saw a post on Reddit by a mother who said she introduced her daughter to feminist writings, but after her dad died she became an extremist and is constantly ranting about men to the point she’s worried if she can even have a relationship (even mentioning she made a tiktok in anger after a guy asked her to move so he could walk past her). The comments were full of “feminists” basically saying the daughter is right somehow.
Every trend seems to be leaning towards it getting worse. The pattern seems to be Young suggestible girls are conditioned into liberal feminism through media and education, it fails and they get burned, they become even radical anti-male feminists. Ex. Young women enter college, start being promiscuous due to hook up culture, end up getting burned over and over (partially because it’s a natural result of casual relationships, partially because women tend to be more attracted to men who display dark triad characteristics) then become jaded towards men in general. To make matters even worse all the corporations and institutions hire from these colleges, and though it’s usually men in the top positions they fill middle management and are actually responsible for the day to day effects on everyone’s lives.

Her thoughts on feminism were slowly becoming stronger throughout our relationship ( I attribute it to the fact that we were both in college and making new friends and stuff). Towards the end, it generally seemed like she actually hated me, not because I was a bad boyfriend, but becuase I was a white man. She would say things like “I just hate white men” all the time ( I’m a white man) 😭😭. She’s a smart girl and I think her mindset will change eventually, but it was crazy to see how quick her philosophy on things changed, and how it affected our relationship.

Young men like me are aware of whats happening around us, and the bias that is surrounding us. We all know for a fact that men tend to work harder and collaborate better because they have the responsibility of doing so. This will enable them to get higher up through the different social ladders all while they will be carrying that bitterness against women in their hearts. And once enough of these men rise to power the tides will begin to turn.
This is scary but a probable consequence of this anti-men notion going around.

There are problems with first wave feminism that a lot of people forget:
    - it was upper class women a lot of the time.
    - they have committed arson and bombings (specifically in Britain). No one died or was injured by what I could find, but that is still terrorism.
    - they shamed men into going into fighting in WW1, including minors.

People always forget that the terrorist attacks' in the first wave are only excused because they accomplished their goals. Tho ironically Id say 3rd/4th wave has caused more lives lost in the social space and good men have died for it sadly. Alec Holowka being falsely accused by Zoey Quinn and Zoe receiving absolutely no backlash for his suicide and his own sister sided with zoe blacked/red pilled a bunch of men into embracing their own gender enlightenment. Jonny dept, ONLY managed to mildly win his case because he is famous, the thousands of men going through it tho are sent to the dogs.
Also first wave feminists they pretty much promoted one sided tradionalism and despite them hating male chauvinists, any men who actually was outside a typical old school man of that time, they themselves ostracized them. A.K.A the white feather movement. Feminists tho are to cowardly to drop the equality bs and just be honest about that movement being only a woman advocacy group, and because of this ploy their man hating extremism has now contaminated ALL of the left, thus alienating most of the down to earth liberal guys who just believed in idealism for people in society, but also still had a degree of Self respect. Those men are politically homeless.
Any men who think the first wave is "perfectly fine" are most likely far left themselves and are partially why it even got to this point.
Funny thing is modern day feminists are to dumb and incompetent to see they have essentially built a perfect circumstance for men to have a similar uprising/ male revolution.
One that many good women are going to just have to deal with it. We had many chances to have this be talked through into a less unstable revolution ,but now that's not happening.
Despite naive people in these vids trying to bring meaningless pacification and Gender neutral takes that do nothing for reality, men and women are most certainly political enemy's at this moment. This is a Gender war, its about time men start acting like it's a war and play for keeps. Part of this is our own fault for never embracing the same gender collectivist mind state that women are in passively. Outside of race, politics, women naturally just serve their gender collective above anything else.
If men truly want this to be over, men gotta learn to drop alot of the labels and divisive identities that keep us from joining forces, or get crushed and dominated.

One problem (among many) with feminism: I suspect many people who were young impressionable children in the '70s or '80s decided they would crusade against discrimination against women, and found that by the time they were adults there was nothing left to fight because equality had pretty much been achieved. Instead of nobly fighting against a terrible injustice, they were left over-reacting to imaginary discrimination, much like an over-sensitive immune sysmtem stimulated by an allergen for the first time. I thought your video on America and the French Revolution was terrific, but this is even better. I agree that a brutal reaction against Feminism is coming. I cannot see how this can be avoided since women who have accepted the Feminist ideology cannot self-correct. They appear to be on a suicidal mission.
One correction. The housewives of the 1950s were much happier than today's working woman. Two big studies were conducted on this at the time--one in the famous Levitown, NJ suburb. They discovered housewives to be very active with their children, community organizations, and with other women. They also discovered that housewives used their educations (via reading groups, study, clubs, etc. ) far more than working women. As a group, they were the most satisfied demographic. It took the kook, Betty Friedan, and her completely unsubstantiated claims in "The Feminine Mystique" to begin spreading the notion of discontent. Friedan and Kate Millet got their idea of female victimhood from Herbert Marcuse. It is worth noting that Friedan's ex-husband said they lived in a virtual mansion on the Hudson River where she was free to write all day since he hired maids and a nanny.

If men were smart and organized together in a mostly unified group, they would do well to organize a man strike. On Strike, Then, send our demands which would be all land in the US West of the Mississippi, 50 percent of the the shared assets, and 50 percent share of all government assets. Also, any attempt to reach out internationally to men for help will be considered an act of war., since we are no longer needed.
The reason this is the smart move, is we won't have to fight ourselves this way. We could show the women of the world that Feminism is doomed to failure, and we could hold all the cards in negotiating a new social contract so to speak, especially because we would immediately import more traditional women from abroad, since we never made the claim to not need women.

I'm a Christian woman and I know that the world is full of evil but I also know that there are good people as well. Is that a bad thing? I respect men, unlike a lot of femenistas as I call them. Or Femtards!
There are women who do not want to hurt men or who are also not silly and pointless in their process of thoughts. I am not the same as a man and I know that! I understand that and I feel bad for women who don't know it. They think they can overcome something they were never meant to be. I can't be aggressive like men, I can't take a stand the same way, and I cant' do a lot of things emotionally that men can! I know that!
Just like men cant' do what women can do emotionally as well, it's nice to have a balance which is what God intended when he made us! Men and women aren't the same for a reason but in God's eyes they are equal. In Galations 3 it says that it doesn't matter if you are free or bond man or woman that Jesus came for us all to get saved. So the fact is if someone says in the Bible it says that all women must submit to all men. Or that we are all super evil whores out to twist you up into sin don't buy it!
There are men out there just like there are women out there who don't have a good understanding of the way the world truly is. Both are better together than seperate. This is the truth of the matter we both see it dif than each other. It doesn't make it bad for eithe rof us.

I have recently been binge watching this channel and love the content. I didn’t realize how heavily this channel skewed towards a male audience. I agree with many of your assertions about women based on my experience attending an all-girls high school and working in a predominantly female field (counseling) prior to staying home to take care of our children. I always have had a hard time with social relationships in general, but particularly with other women. It’s gotten better as I have gotten older and I now have a great community of low maintenance/no drama women that I genuinely enjoy being around in a homeschool community I am part of. That said, to your point about women openly hating men while accusing them of being misogynistic is spot on. When I worked on a treatment team for drug and alcohol rehabilitation, there were 2 lone male counselors on a team of women. Both got teased, but one became the butt of a lot of jokes. We were in a staff meeting one day and someone was making fun of him in regards to his relationship success. It was sad because he just took it. I guess he didn’t feel like he had much of a choice as he was outnumbered. I confronted all the women who were teasing him and said if the roles were reversed you absolutely would not be okay with what was just said, what makes it okay for you to say it? The room fell awkwardly silent for a while and I proceeded to eat my lunch and let it be. Another time, I had male client in group therapy who by every indication seemed to be a misogynist through and through. I didn’t personalize his remarks, just realized that was where he was and tried to understand him. Eventually, I had to move him to individual sessions to accommodate his work schedule. He did a complete 180 in individual therapy and opened up and disclosed wounds and hurts he had experienced from his mother. I asked him towards the end of his treatment what caused his change of attitude towards me as a counselor and towards treatment. His words will always stick with me, “I saw that you actually wanted to help me and were willing to go out of your way to do so.” I don’t want to turn this into a dog pile on women. There are great men and women out there and there are terrible men and women. It’s hard for either side to find a good counterpart. I didn’t date a ton (1 guy prior to meeting my husband). I met my husband when I was 25 and got married at 27. There were so many guys that I passed over, not because they weren’t good enough on a financial level , but on a character level. Lots of guys just wanting to hook up and not commit. It just wasn’t my jam due to my convictions of faith. I wanted to find a guy that would be my best friend and a great father to our children. It took awhile l, but I found him and I am holding on. He is pure gold. Going on 12 years marriage with 2 girls and a third on the way in a couple weeks. One thing that has kept me grounded is not having an instagram. I think that app breeds discontent, entitlement and competition amongst women. Our family isn’t wealthy from a material standpoint, but are truly rich where it matters. There are good men and women truly out there. It may just take awhile to find them in the midst of the cultural mess we are in.

Once you understand that f’inism is about female advocacy instead of female equality, there is no discrepancy in f’inism behavior. If you are only concerned with equality when females are being shortchanged unequally, you are only concerned when YOU are unequal. That’s not advocation of equality… that’s hiding behind equality to get want you want… advocacy.
Once you get this, you understand why women don’t think they should pay for the first date, could not care less that their college enrollments are so much greater than males and so many statistics that seem unequally towards men. They're much smaller, the matriarch retains power through personal relationships so it's limited by Dunbar's number, and only exist in remote, harsh places like the arctic or desert where the environment itself defends against invasion. The only way you could possibly go further with feminism is if you actually killed all men and invented artificial wombs to grow female clones.

Wow. As one of the apparently few women on this channel, I was super interested in this video, and I appreciated your take for the most part. I think you captured women's *general* nature pretty effectively. It was definitely expressed in an unabridged man's way of thinking, which was somehow both jarring and refreshing.
The feminist movement has in fact become sexist against women as well, and it's infuriating because I can't bring this up in most groups without getting shredded. Feminism today has attacked traditional female values and activities (at least for women lol) including homemaking, mothering, sensitivity, virtue, and delicacy. My Psychology of Gender class in college repeatedly bashed at me that if men and women want to be equal, women should "be allowed" to do and be all the things that men are. In other words, any sane woman will go to college, become an engineer or CEO, and sleep around instead of settling down. Cause that's the good life right??? When I tell people I've been a stay at home mom since I was 20, they give me sad looks and wonder why I wasted my potential. It's makes me so frikin mad. But hey if a guy wants to go do all that, let's give him a big applause! I'm solidly convinced that the simplest way to get a foothold in this world is to act like the other gender. How messed up is that...
A couple critiques. You already know this, but there are a pretty substantial number of women out there that have been raised to avoid backbiting emotional shaming. But due to being less dramatic, they are quieter and get less public attention.
Also, as to there being no large unified groups of women, there is one worth mentioning, which is the Relief Society of the LDS (Mormon) church. They've lost a lot of that spark today, but their history and founding is pretty cool for any history buffs out there.

He stated and explained how modern feminism is devaluing what historically was seen as feminine virtue, like you did.
I'm stating this, not really to correct you, but mainly to say that as as men who are critical about modern feminism, we know you exist,. We know many of you women understand what is happening to you, and some of you even understand how badly it also affects us as men, even if this empathy we would like to behold more is incredibly rare. I’m a 54 year old woman who has watched this movement become much more toxic than should be allowed as well as it seeming far more toxic than any other similar movement in the current times. I’ve never had p-nis envy, never hated men, never thought that women should be entirely “in charge” of anything. For all the difficulties involved? It’s apparent that men and women are meant to work together. That neither sex should “be in charge” exclusively. Why is this such a problem?? The hostility has become exhausting and pointless. 6:44 That map is true, especially for the upper classes, but peasant women were very much active figures in their society. If you recall, aristocratic Chinese women footbinded themselves as to distinguish them from the active Chinese peasant woman. Or the tough-working prairie women in the Wild West, in which Western states were typically some of the earliest states to give women the right to vote. Even traditional Appalachian women are pretty tough people (source: J. D. Vance's "Hillbilly Elegy"). I get the feeling that widow burning is a mercantile/aristocratic thing (it doesn't make much sense for a poor Indian farmer to lose valuable manpower by killing his wife). Basically, there's always a distinction in most societies between sequestering rich aristocratic women and commoner women sharing a similar amount of responsibilities to tending the land as her husband (due to manpower issues or the husbands killing themselves in wars or brawls that seriously injure them).

This is the first time in human history that women have been given the opprotunity to seek out their own endeavors, live financially free, have protection against the entrapment of unplanned pregnancy and live in a society that accepts us and our sexuality. For all of human history before this, women have never had this much freedom, and so it's a given that many women will use this to their advantage and manipulate/abuse men, as men have done for centuries past.
I can only ask that you give women a little bit of grace and understanding. No giant cultural shift occurs in a vacuum without any bumpy rides, and we will never go back to the way things once were, so we are at the start of a whole new future for the gender dynamic. Hopefully the pendulum will end up falling somewhere within a calm equilibrium some time in our lives. I have no hate towards men and love them very much. Only thing i disagree with is that there were feminist movements in the Roman Empire, Greece and the Islamic world. British historian Sir John Glubb wrote how in all these ancient empires eventually women gained lots of influence in fields that were normally dominated by men, the end result of all this was that those women passed reforms that made society weak and emasculated which made these once superpowers very vulnerable to outside invasions and start losing easy wars, which did happen and after that they undid everything women did and put em back in their place, and restricted them even more now that they had a good reason to not give em equality. A similar thing seems to be happening with America where these feminism reforms include things like "fat acceptance" and that is resulting in the US Army not being able to recruit soldiers who meet fitness requirements. And of course there are tons of other issues it causes like low birth rates, etc... which all those ancient empires also went through. So it seems like history is just repeating iself and America is basically dying from decadence like all those old empires. Another key point in the dissolution of the family unit has been declining respect for parental figures. Most mothers go out and work all day, then berate their sons for not showing enough feminine traits such as academic achievement, while most fathers are also working to provide for the family while also being too conditioned by the toxically feminine society to be a good positive masculine role model. Meaning most of Gen-Z looks to influencers and their friends for the things they would normally look to their parents for, further breaking apart the family unit.

She rejected this and said that over compensation would be fair and it would level out in the end. I didnt say it at the time but now i feel safe in saying that a backlash, a violent swing from an uncontrolled direction change is coming, and i think that there will be a time where women's right suffer horribly. But like one of my early motorcycle accidents, one back swing was enough for the whole thing to fall over so it may, just may destroy western culture and leave a post apocalyptic wasteland in its place.
It would be intersting to survey how women's and men's views differ on the fragility of society and the likelihood of its collapse. Im willing to bet that more women have the view that society can't be ended by their actions while most men are well aware that collapse is possible, ne probable.

*Where did feminism go wrong?* Erin Pizzey is a 2nd generation feminist, she has some of the answers. She's retired, in her 80s, has you tube videos. She knew all the feminists of her generation. Erin started the world's first women's shelter, in Britain. She was an ardent feminist.
Then she realized that sometimes in an abusive relationship, it's the woman's fault, not the man's fault. The female is the abuser, not the male. So being a good and moral person, Erin tried starting a shelter for men who were abused by the women in their lives. The other feminists hated this, because it took away from their government money from them and it placed some of the blame on women who were abusing men. That interfered with the feminist narrative of all men are bad, women are never wrong. Of course that view was nonsense from the start, but the early feminists were quite clever at manipulating men in power, with guilt.
When Erin showed some genuine compassion for men in abusive relationships, that's when the feminists turned on Erin, threatened her life. Her words, not mine.
However, once we understand a fuller picture that Erin explains in one of her videos, we should have a lot of sympathy for the pioneer feminists who turned on Erin:
I have a lot of sympathy for pioneer feminists because Erin said a lot of the old pioneer feminists in their early lives, were severely hurt and abused in relationships, by the men in their lives. That's where they started their feminist philosophy. Their mistake was over generalizing their own painful personal experience with men, onto the whole world. That's why feminists have a false sense of reality. They think their subjective experience represents reality for everyone. No it doesn't.
These pioneer feminists were incredibly smart women, but were often motivated by revenge, coming from a place of hurt and pain. We need to be sympathetic. Lots of them rejected heterosexual relationships, for relationships with women instead.
So, who started it? Men. Not all men, but a few jerks. A few terrible men.
I think a lot of this feminism actually started with, terrible behavior from some men. I have no sympathy for those men, I condemn them completely. They hurt women. That's terrible. The feminist women who were hurt the most, are even now getting revenge on men. What comes around, goes around.
Where this feminists movement goes wrong is, the vast majority of women don't get abused by men, most women rather like men a lot and enjoy being around men, and have healthy relationships with men. But the women leading the feminist movement started from a bad place, due to their personal histories. They didn't enjoy good relationships with men.
This gave early feminists a very bad and unrealistic view of male female relationships in general, based on their own bad personal experiences. Most women don't feel that way, I'd guess. The mental error of feminism is this: One person's own bad experience with the other gender does not mean everyone of the opposite gender is bad.
If you want to find out why a woman is a feminist, ask her a simple question: Who hurt you?
Personal experience of a limited kind is not a reliable guide to everyone of the opposite gender. Most men are quite decent to women, form close bonds and families with women. Feminism is based on the theory that all men are bad, based on the theory that history can be interpreted as men oppressing women. That's complete and utter nonsense.

History repeats itself unfortunately. Our own ancestors tried to warn us in writing, myths, stories, legends, art, etc, but we didn't listen. So how could we expect our decedents to listen to us? Sure we have video footage but even if that won't be lost (which it might be given enough time), there's still the chance future generations will make a "not real feminism" argument like they endlessly do with communism today.

That isn’t manipulation, that’s the truth. You can’t both feel bitter toward a representative of a group of people AND have a healthy functioning relationship in which she doesn’t feel like you’re filtering all your interactions with her by the sole fact that she’s a woman. Because if you ever actually say or do something hurtful toward her and let’s say she’s emotionally mature and wants to talk about it, will you then shut down the conversation by accusing HER of manipulation?
Your stepmom is wrong about women not needing responsibility (taking this conversation on face value, I have a feeling this is also your personal interpretation of what she said). Women can be wrong, and should face consequences for being wrong or doing wrong things.
But you’re seriously delusional if you think that women can’t pick up on your bitterness and resentment while trying to date them and hold your current views. You’d never be able to have a trusting relationship because she’d be considered guilty until proven innocent. That just creates a no-win situation that depends on you basically getting over your personal views in order for her to be considered trustworthy. So the relationship is already doomed because you yourself doom it. Relationships can’t function that way and any woman with a brain will avoid that.

That's because men indtictively know the benefits of a hierarchy and the value of co-operation. Why men have such instictive behaviors is because of evolution, from the times when men needed to form groups in serious circumstances, where constant disagreements between the group members would mean certain death.
By contrast women never had that. Every woman pretty much feels she's as much of a leader or a follower than the next person. Women don't lead and cannot be led by using charisma or by exhibiting extraordinary qualities which make one suited to be a leader.

I think a major problem in modern society is how most women don't realize they're "playing life on easy mode."
Sexual advantages aside in stuff like dating, most millennials and early Zoomers had parents who still enforced gender norms to some degree. Growing up and even to this day, I noticed most parents were A LOT easier on their daughters than their sons. After all, from the traditional perspective, a woman can just find a man and still live a successful life. A man can't do that. If he doesn't "grow up" or isn't raised right, he will fail at life. So parents were A LOT harder on their sons.
They also instilled gender norms into their sons more than their daughters. Men, to this day, are expected to have some degree of self-control and manners around women. A basic unspoken rule for ALL men is "no dirty jokes for the boys around women." If you break this rule, I GUARANTEE most guys in the room will be upset at you for potentially cockblocking them. Women are usually NOT expected to reciprocate. If you don't want to hear them talk in great detail about their periods or sex life, that's YOUR problem for being a "whiny man with male privilege." Men also keep each other in check more. If a man does anything suspicious to his girlfriend, the chances of a friend talking to him in private asking "wtf are you doing" is pretty high. If a woman acts up, most women will either ignore it or feign a "you go girl" response.
And what's horrible is that most women are in COMPLETE DENIAL about this. Whether it's indoctrination because of "muh patriarchy" or because they've just lived their whole lives on "easy mode." They think men need to just "put in the work like them and stop complaining" because after all, women have to overcome the patriarchy just to be successful!

Do you guys really believe this? I understand that this is maybe your perception, but women definitely do not play life on easy mode. A lot of girls are expected to be more responsible and behaved at a younger age than boys, and women deal with sexual harassment and assault on a regular basis. Women still have to chose if they want a family or a career; because the vast majority of men don’t pull their weight at home even when they’re outearned. If men want biological children, they don’t have to be pregnant for 9 months, and no one assumes that it’s their responsibility to do the vast majority of care. I’m not saying that mens struggles are illegitimate but if you look at any group and make claims about their life being on easy mode, you are absolutely delusional. Besides, as a woman, I’ve never felt that I could just fall back on a man to provide for me. Most men don’t make enough money to provide for a family and most people would look down on me if I decided that I wanted to stay home. Brilliant video. 99% in agreement except for one small disagreement. You said near the end that women were treated horribly by men all through history. This is simply not true at all, at least in western culture.
On the contrary they have always been granted privilages that men did not get. They were not required to do the hardest work that endangers life and limb. They had no requirement for military service. They get to decide if they want to work or not. They get to decide who to marry or not marry in the traditions of courtship. Marriage traditions and laws provided security for them to bear children and shamed and criminalised husbands who would abandon his wife.
I would not call that being treated horribly. Considering the men had to suffer in some ways that the women did not. Outside of western culture the FGM, footbinding etc are oddities that cannot be attributed solely to men, afterall both were encouraged and performed by women on women. We also see today the extremes some women will go to in order to attain the beauty standards of the culture.

I would not protect a woman today, even though I have trained in martial arts for 43 years. I would protect a female I know or a member of my family but not a stranger

Like a lot of your viewers (I imagine), this one hits close to home for me. I'm 38 & I remember the late 90s & turn of the millennium. About half the girls already had that insufferable bitch-on-steroids attitude but the other half were still feminine & sweet & would giggle when you talked to them. Those were an absolute joy to be around. Fast-forward to today & those girls just don't exist (in significant numbers at least) anymore. That naive-but-innocent sweetness of positive femininity that would just melt male hearts has disappeared. We're all lonely & angry in this cold world. I still love women, or at least I love what I know they are capable of being when at their best. But I also know that vanity is femininity's Achilles heel & for women to collectively admit they were led astray... I just don't see it happening. I truly fear what's coming for women as we millennials age past our childbearing years & men continue to be poked with the proverbial stick.

Funny were about 9-10 years apart, I'm 27 and I remember and know what you mean, in high school the girls were still sweet and they all had plenty of charm to them, women today all act like God damn, you can't even tell then apart from the butch lesbians anymore because standards for them have disappeared. Still being this young without sex, love life or even prospects for a wife is why a lot of the men my age are often seen waving or touting somekind of extreme movement, regardless of what side of the spectrum it's at.
And let me be even more frank, if it does happen I'd rather be a part of it and simply write that chapter in history than watch it as some spectator.

What do you mean by “bitch-on-steroids”?
And as a 32-year-old woman in the workforce, should I really giggle and flutter my eyelashes every time a male colleague talks to me? With all due respect, that doesn’t seem what I should do if I want to be taken seriously.
I try to be polite and talk to other people like human beings, and I expect the same in return.
