@NOBSBeauty It is an awful disease and yes, so very common in young women. I'm a retired Aesthetician, and now a stay at home Mama. Thank you again hun for spreading the word. Love your content and have been following you for quite some time. You are a joy to watch!❤️
After years of trial and error with so many products and all of them breaking me out or irritating my skin, I have exited the Vitamin C train completely recently. Within a week, my skin looked better than ever. I wish it worked for me but it’s a relief to be done with it. Best of luck to those of you still pursuing it. I think these are good recommendations by the way. Just because they didn’t work for me doesn’t mean they aren’t great for others. Love your content 😊.
I was sold on the Geek & Gorgeous C Glow! I heard that it will stay good for up to 3 months if it's refrigerated. So I wake up and trudge myself to the kitchen each morning and put it on after cleansing my face and...OOOOH! The coldness of the serum wakes me up immediately! And my skin looks so much better the rest of the day. Love their products!
I use the Skinceuticals but hate the associated price tag. I’ll be happy next year when their patent expires and others can copy the formula. I think I will order the Geek & Gorgeous one next to try. Great video!
Please let me know how you end up liking the G&G- in my opinion it is the best! The patent stuff is making some big money for these huge companies. Especially Loreal.
Have you tried Prequel Lucent-C? The G&G is still my all time favorite but I'm loving Prequel's version. In fact, I like that whole brand. Great list!✌️🩵🐾🩶
Sarah. I’ve not been on for a while. You are looking absolutely gorgeous ❤ your skin is amazing, I swear you’re aging backwards 😂 keep doing whatever it is you’re doing 🥰 Thanks for the video, I’m literately just ready to repurchase a vitamin c serum so this a huge help. Thank you wonderful lady. ❤
I do love the Skin Deva. They have free shipping in the US on their website and they also have an Amazon store. Best of all it doesn’t irritate my skin or neck. So overall it’s the easiest and cheapest to get my hands on
I use Timeless 20%. Can I ask if Tretinoin brought out dark spots on your skin and if they disappeared? I’ve been on it since October and yes I reapply sunscreen daily. I’m using Naturium Arbutin and Tranexamic acid also.
I like tiam surprise vitamin c 24 waterless serum. I like mixing it with a neutral serum. I can use 1-2 or more drops, depending how strong i want it to be. Really great one
Any thoughts on gold-stabilized ascorbic acid? Educated Mess and Naturium use this form. It’s supposed to be 100% stable and non-irritating but I don’t know the research/reliability behind it.
I use the Vanicream THD ascorbate serum. My skin won’t tolerate any active more frequently than every other day. The l-ascorbic acid serums go bad before I can finish them.
Geek&gorgeous is my favorite too!! I do keep it in the fridge. Its really helped my melasma. Before this one I used the 20% from timeless which I used after the Ordinary. I’m in love with the G&G!!
I love that the Cosrx vitamin C comes in two strengths, 13 % and 23 %. I believe the product is in a "vacuum" somehow in the bottle because when you get it, you're supposed to screw off a lid and then place the pipette on top, and every time I hear this "whoosh" type of sound 💨
I was loving their vitamin c. A few months ago, I received a defective bottle. I have backed off for a while. I really liked how my skin looked using that product 😊
@@MyCrownstar It's watery and thin, but with a slightly "oily" feel to it, which is good for my very dry skin. I don't think it contains oil though, but gets a little "fatty" from the vitamin E. But it dries down very quickly and is not greasy or anything like that. However, there might be other formulations that feel drier.
Hi Sarah :) Wondering if you have tried the Dear Lucy serum, which contains 10% THD vitamin C, along with niacinamide and alpha arbutin, lactic acid, etc? I've heard great things about it from Penn Smith and Claudia Glows, who both love it ^_^
Really appreciated this video. You're so well informed. So helpful. I presently use Biossance vitamin C 10%. I've had positive results. But Biossance uses 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid.😅
I'm glad you have had good luck for you- if it works nothing wrong with that! I'm interested to see what the future of Biossance is since they have been purchased by The Hut Group. I hope they keep the brand the same with some nice new releases. Fingers crossed!
I’d love your review of Prequel’s Lucent-C vitamin C serum (and the other products in their line). I genuinely love everything I’ve purchased with the exception of their moisturizers, nothing against them I just don’t get along with shea butter!
Another friend of your channel does too. Diabetes can cause it, so can connective tissue disorders. Mine is idiopathic - it's been a lot better with treatment and exercise (was really, really hard to start since i couldn't even stay standing to brush my teeth when i started)
Hi Sarah, I started my skincare routines 3 years ago. Dr. Brenners Vit C was the first one I purchased and loved it. I then switched to Timeless, but theirs seems to make my skin dryer than it already is 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🙃. I’m going to try G&G. Great video 😊
Keep me posted on how you end up liking the G&G - I hope you end up loving it as much as I do. I've tried both Timeless formulations now and I found my skin ended up liking the 10% version more than the 20%. I think the 20% was just a little to harsh for my sensitive skin.
My morning routine includes prescription strength 15% azelaic acid. I have tretinoin in the evening. Do I need to add vitamin C? Would it cause further irritation I’ve been battling from the tretinoin? What do you recommend? Thanks!
Off the topic how do you like the 15% azalaic do you feel it does great at brighting I’m doing the ordinary only wish I could get my hands on the prescription soon .
I use prescription Azelaic Acid 15% and Timeless Vitamin C serum with no irritation. Been using Vit.C since last year and AA since 2 mo.ago. After that, I use Vanicream light lotion and EltaMd sunscreen. Hope this helps! 😁
@@leslierosa9102She has mentioned in past videos that Azelaic Acid helped step up her brightening up her complexion, which is why she loves it so much.
Timeless 20% was too much for my skin. Recently, I started using Prequel Lucent-C and I like it enough to have reordered it. I also like Maelove Glow Maker, but it oxidizes faster than I want.
I used to only use the Timeless but have really been loving KindofStephens's Poems from the Lab Future Focus VitC Product. I've always been really slow at finishing LAA serums and end up throwing them out when they oxidize, but it's been 8 months and still has not changed color whatsover ie completely clear due to the airless packaging.
Vitamin C serum pH is important only if it's a very simple water and Vitamin C solution. Cosmetic chemists use other ingredients like penetration enhancers to aid vitamin C absorption in the skin. Lab Muffin Beauty is a cosmetic chemist and she debunked the myth in her videos.
I think for some people it can just be too harsh, especially with the low pH that most serums have. I'm going to work on an alternate list for next week.
Glam Girl Gabi had a plastic surgeon on last week who said Vitamin C serums are a waste and do nothing. I guess only going under a knife works in his opinion.
Wow- interesting that they are discrediting thousands of items of published research... curious if he can find any published research that rejects all of the other research. Although I guess maybe that is his way of marketing himself.
Thank you for bringing awareness to Gastroparesis! I have suffered from this disease for over 15 years. We 'gastro-warriors' appreciate you💚
I'm so sorry you have to deal with it- it is much more common than I ever thought, sending you positive thoughts and prayers.

Same. Me too.
Have you tried the Vanicream vitamin c? It’s extremely gentle and the only one that works for me is
@@LisaNix2 No, I was never convinced of the efficacy of any of the derivatives. It was ascorbic acid or nothing for me. 🍊
