I used the ordinary copper peptides for a long time and I didn’t see enough results. skin texture improved but that’s about it. I’ve moved on to better peptides.
If you could compare Maeloves new peptide serum with Geek and Gorgeous vs Stratias peptide lotion. All small businesses, cruelty free with awesome products.
I’ll play chemist too by mixing the G&G peptides, the cosrx peptide booster, both reviv serums (same as you have), and my calecim professional serum all together and slathering my face/neck. Feels like a hydration bomb.
Ive been using C-Glow & Power peptides for about 3 weeks now and im absolutely loving both💕 I switched from Timeless 10 percent. I was nervous but my skin absolutely loves the C-Glow! And I'm hooked on the peptide serum, definitely keepin this baby in stock!
I wonder how it compares to the The Ordinary Buffet + Copper Peptides. I am always worried about usinh copper peptides with ascobtic acid so i tend To use the standard buffet serum only
I just turned 50, and I use this wonderful serum morning and evening, and I love it! 😊 Will continue to use. I also use the vitamin C serum in the morning from G&G, but I wait half an hour or so in the before applying this one. The ph of the skin will normalize after a while, so that is how I use it, and my skin looks more plump, hydrated and healthy 😊 I also use a retinal serum in the evening a little while after applying the peptide serum.
I just received my package from G&G too with 2 bottles of this serum. Have not yet opened it, but really want to. Need to finish one other peptide serum first. I am trying to grow my backbone and not open too many products at the same time. It is difficult :D
Would love to see a comparison between G&G and the new Maelove peptide serum. I couldn't decide between the two and ended up getting the G&G because it's more affordable. Loving it!
Woooo hoooo!!! Would love a comparison with The Ordinary. But looking forward to trying this!! Thank you, again for another great video! Many blessings!!!💖💖💖
I'm interested in trying this and also the one from The Ordinary with copper peptides. Which one would you say is better? Or worth checking out both of them?
Hi Sarah, great review of the G&G peptide serum. I’ve yet to try any of their serums and I don’t know why. I use Medic8 liquid Peptide Serum and was shocked at how it is smoothing out wrinkles and no more texture. But soo pricey for my wallet. Would you Please do a video sharing with us : if you could only have 5 products of skincare, what would they be regardless of the price? 😮😅
@@NOBSBeauty lol, you can do it Sarah. Can’t wait to see what you choose. Oh, I ordered the Skin Medica TNS Serum. Cannot wait to get it and get it on my face. I will be so disappointed if I don’t see drastic changes for the good in using it.
Excited to try this. I think you mentioned in the newsletter that you recently bought the Alpyn cloudberry moisturizer which I think has Snap 8 in it: Will you be reviewing that one soon?
Hi Sarah, hope to hear back from you as I just ran out of my pm serum and am on the fence about this, depending on your reply. Your review is the only one I’ve watched out of numerous ones, that doesn’t mention it leaves behind a tacky feeling on the skin, it sounds like they didn’t do that with your skin? (Or did it originally feel tacky dried down to smooth?) Something that leaves skin feeling tacky, would be a deal breaker if they kept my products that follow, from applying smoothly, (I follow peptide serum with a layer of thin moisturizer, Azaleic acid gel, Altreno lotion, followed by a final thicker moisturizer.) Thank you, as always!
Oh thank you so much! You are too kind! So in this video I used my moisturizer (the Jin Jung Sun Hybrid Face and Eye Cream) and I mixed it with a small drop of the Pacifica Glow Bronzing Drops and it gives the skin a really nice sheen and glow. I really like this combination and it works great under sunscreen and foundation. Highly recommend checking out the Pacifica Glow Drops - super affordable and you can mix them with almost any moisturizer.
@@NOBSBeauty thank you. I have the Versed glow drops. Maybe I'll give that a try, it's still sealed. ☺ I grew up in MN, all of my family are still there.
I've been using this 2x a day for 2 weeks around 1 eye to see the direct difference to the untreated eye. I use it for dark circles but haven't noticed a change yet and probably won't in the future as i'm 28. Thought it might help with thickening the skin. I'll just stick to actives that have given me immediate and noticeable results like glycolic and salicylic acid.
Sarah, I know you ❤peptides & have tried many. If you had to pick 1-2 peptides to take on a deserted island, which would you choose? I trust your guidance as I’m drowning in peptide options. I haven’t seen benefit from Timeless’ Matrixyl Synthe 6 & Coenzyme Q10 but it’s only been a few months so I’m still giving them a shot. I will try the Theramid Copper Peptides serum; I prefer ones that come in pump vs dropper bottle. My Timeless 20% Vitamin C has lasted 7 months without changing color which I think is in large part not just of it being kept in the fridge, but because it comes in a pump bottle vs G&G dropper bottle which constantly exposes the product to light and air.
I know Alastin skincare does skin biopsy and some other tests to prove their peptides go deep in the layers of skin. So it is possible. Too bad there line is so expensive ugh
You are looking more beautiful every day ❤❤ girl keep tell I g us ur secrets .. the mail box lunch time same for me at Walmarts pharmacy.. ugghhhh there lunches do not fit our schedule 🎉😂 Ps I had a friend that had a photo memory as well he became a Duggy houiser ER Doc
How are you testing the peptide? I remember on a few occasions you mention you love copper peptide - I can't imagine you dropped copper peptide to try another peptide serum! 😋
I've skipped out on my copper peptides for the moment, now I've added it back in, I just did some microneedling with my esthetician and am using it now to soothe and calm my skin down. I'm going to stick with the G&G and will be adding in my other copper peptide serums now.
In their website page write that it Can be used around the eyes and in the same routine with any other active ingredient (incl. acids & retinoids), either in the AM and/or PM.
I saw zero effects from using peptides. In fact the only products that made a noticeable difference in my skin are a good basic moisturizer, a retinoid, and salicylic acid. If a moisturizer I like contains peptides so be it, but I've gotten over my skincare fad phase and my wallet is very happy.
Could be that your skin is already healthy (and perhaps you’re on the younger side?) so your skin is like “…thanks but what am I supposed to do with this?” 😂 I’m in my late 20s and have only tried the Peach & Lily copper peptide serum, and I haven’t noticed anything revolutionary with consistent use either EXCEPT for when I have a fresh blemish or scratch, it seems to heal more quickly. Otherwise I agree-retinoid, azelaic acid, gentle salicylic acid cleanser, with good balanced moisturizer 😊 and for me a brightening treatment of some kind for my PIH (Rx of 4% hydroquinone currently)
I feel like I never notice any difference from most skincare. It’s over years I notice it but hard for me to pinpoint which ingredients made the biggest difference… I’m not sure if I’m the odd person 🤣
I would love to know what is your favorite vitamin C powder to use or do you prefer G & G serum instead? I am trying to remember which powder your suggested and order some.
She did a versus between G&G, one & Timeless Skincare’s 20% Vit C & E Ferulic. She said she loved them both but G&G won by a few points due to price & the 15% (since some people’s skin is irritated by 20%.) Id’d be curious to know which she’s using now, too. I love Timeless because it comes in a spray bottle so I don’t have to open the dropper & expose the vitamin C to light and air. Mine has also lasted me a very long time in the fridge. I will probably try the. G&G next as it gets great reviews. Its also cheaper.
Hi, I have been using this product for a month. I like the texture but so far, I see no skin benefits. So far I think that the Ordinary copper peptide is better.
Glad you liked it and that it's affordable. Please consider doing a "Versus" between this product and The Ordinary Buffet w/Copper Peptides. Thanks!
