I feel for the truck driver. Can’t imagine what mental state he in after this. He looks lost and bewildered. I am a truck driver also and this could end your career.
@macforme i dont think he meant in terms of being in trouble, more so for the mental trauma. Wrecks like these really puts it into perspective how easily you can blink someone out of existence just by doing your job. Train conductors go through similar experiences.
22 years driving a tow truck in the Inland Empire Southern California and in Orange County never once have I seen a CHP officer with a push broom that's pretty cool it's also cool that you don't show fatals I didn't either great job
Good job on this recovery. The video quality was excellent. It was nice of you to let the driver hang out for a couple days. I'm sure his world was temporarily turned upside down after the accident.
No doubt. He looked like a lost soul, just kind of wandering around in the background. Was this an owner/operator situation? If so, there goes his livelihood until the insurance kicks in.
You do a fantastic job of describing all the details of how you are going to handle the recovery. You are such a great professional and show great concern for the people involved in the accident. I watch all your videos and often share them with others. God bless you, your family, and your company.
On vacation from the UK last Sunday 09/10/23 at about 9am, we drove up to the Boyle Yard. Took some photos and then went to the Target on Sunset via. 101 & Western. Came back home and this was the next video to watch. Spooky coincidence.
Retired living in Thailand. Love to watch you figure out how to do the job. Most happy to see a successful fellow Mexican with a good business. Raised in San Gabriel valley. Would like to see short video to introduce your work crew. Continued safe success.
I really enjoyed this video, Josh. A lot of work done and all by yourself. Amazing that the car caused so much damage to that tractor. You did a great job, Josh.
Very impressed with the trucks (Pete's) and the equipment Y'all carry for every job. Right equipment certainly makes the job easier. Great camera work, even in the dark. Thanks as always, stay safe guys
New camera did good afaic. Wow I think that is the most messed up recovery I have seen you guys do. I can't believe a small car did that much damage. It's a miracle that no one was hurt or killed. I think the truck driver was in shock.
I couldn't believe the damage to the truck and the car with major front end damage did seem not to show a lot of damage to the cabin area. Wow, it seemed that every time you turned your back something new came in sight to prolong the recovery. I enjoyed the video coverage a lot, the DJI was quality and the result was up close and personal. As a side note, huffing and puffing at the beginning might indicate the need for AM runs with Alex. Thanks guys for the video.
This one was very interesting because of all the twists and turns! I love the way you explain your thought processes while you keep working hard to clear it up as quickly as possible (while being safe too!). Amazing video right here.
Hi from Australia. I just found your channel. Awesome job. The poor Trucker, I feel so bad for him. That wrong way driver really did a job on his Truck. I am absolutely in awe that nobody was hurt - what a miracle. Great video quality and commentary. What an awesome unit you have. It is so versatile and well fitted out, not to mention really pretty to look at.
Josh, she sure tore up that tractor. How did she get in the wrong way lane? Good grief!! Good job Josh and Alex. Stay safe out there guys. Just fortunate no one was hurt. I felt so bad for the poor driver guy.
Made it all the way through the video and the quality was awesome!! Really enjoyed it. Yeah, the poor driver looked totally lost...was great of you guys to let him hang at the shop (I think his tractor was based in British Colombia). Really enjoy your channel! Thanks😊
The technical ability of you and your crew is absolutely amazing. And your magnificent equipment and abilty to use it is incredible. God bless you and your crew, i pray for your safety on these dangerous jobs.
The quality of the video is excellent ! When you pair this with your commentary it makes watching the recoveries seem like I was actually there. I'm glad there were no fatalities!
All new stuff for me! I've never seen rigging like this or the endcaps for the chains. This is what you get with someone with your experience and expertise.
I have no idea why I watched this from beginning to end and found it so weirdly entertaining. I know nothing about your line of work, but from what I saw, it looked pretty incredible! The camera was great, IMO. It's amazing the truck was that destroyed and everyone walked away from this accident.
Hey Josh !! Great camera work & NO Complaints !! 🙃🙂😊👍👍👍👍👍 Lucky for both drivers for NO serious injuries !! Hope the truck driver was able to get a ride back home !! 🤔🙄
Wow! Great job and great video. I enjoy your ongoing monologue describing what you're doing and why. Thanks for sharing your work w/ all of us. I hope all is well w/ the big rig driver as well.
Great video. I like the explanations and the ingenuity you had in dragging the pieces out while still holding the tractor in the air. The rotator really came in handy on this one. All done with one man.
I value feedback a ton and love my fans. You guys are the reason I invest so much time into making videos. I stay so busy so I don’t reply as much as I wish I could but I try my best.
The new camera did a great job. I was particularly impressed at how well it handles the dramatic swings in the amount of available light when you're going between facing the wreck in the dark and facing Hulk with its eleventy billion candlepower of lights.
My late 20 I thought about trying hauling over size load or a hook 🪝 for the challenge. I saw a tow truck with a 2x4x5( 3 stick truck) he let me ride when he pulled a truck out of the mud. He shifted 5 times in 10 feet. 😮 crazy low hears and never spin the tires. You did amazing job. Respect
Awesome job, Josh...and Alex. Gteat hustle as you thought through this tecovery quickly and efficiently. Great video quality, and yes, you can back! Thank you for letting the Driver hang with you guys for a couple days, that was a helluva wreck, he had to be shaken by it. I'll recommend you to our company.
I am amazed that even though everything from the frame down got ripped free there wasn't any anti freeze or oil spills...that by itself is a good thing for you guys and those that cleared the shrapnel from the car that got scattered on the road. Crazy lucky that no injuries... great to see too. The extras at the shop and your narration was great Josh and the video and audio overall was fine...no glitches at all. Stay safe out there!!
First time watching you. You kept my attention start-to-finish because of the excellent camera work and color quality and of course your brilliant job! Can't believe one car could do all that damage do a semi! It must have been going 150!
Thank GOD NO One Was Hurt & The Quality Was GREAT We Thought, & YA NICE BLIND SIDING Especially With A BIG BIG LONG RIG Like That & Don't Sell Yourself Short Your More Than HANDY AT BACKING ☆☆☆☆☆ 👍👍👍👍👍😉
Pepe's Rules! Between Josh and Alex if they can't get it done it just can't be done! Josh cleared that semi in half the time the CHP officer thought he needed! Great camera work at night! You have a keeper in the new camera! Go Pros usually suck in the dark!
Enjoyed the video. What a mess. Poor driver was probably partly in shock and so displaced by what had just happened. Liked that you included the yard footage.
Good job brother I like the videos a lot I used to tow myself for about 9 years until 2007 when I was in a collision, car took a red light onto me and hit me on my driver's side. I was driving a chevy tow truck from the accident I suffered a broken vertebrae and 2 slid discs. Now I have 12 screws and a braket on my lower spine a spinal fusion on my L4-5 . I always wanted to learn heavy but was unable anymore. Love your recovery videos always watching you till the end. God bless you brother and take care out there. 👍🙏
If you have the broken hose like that, you can pinch it off with a pair of Vice Grips, the sheet metal ones for body work, work the best. Then you put air to the back axles with the valve on the cross member, usually above the front drive axle. You could always cage the tractor brakes instead and run your air and service lines to the trailer for their air and brakes on the towed unit. Hope that helps for those in the future. Over 10 years in Heavy Duty towing and recovery here, I love rotator work the most!
OMG ! Dude , You are AMAZING you really know your business and you really do the videoing like a top notch camera crew all by yourself. And you keep your equipment in top notch showroom conditions. I’m so glad I came across you on UTube 🎉. Thank You for such a High Class Operation.

Good work there sir. Job well done and I am hoping the negative keyboard warriors see what a professional gentleman this operator is. High class respect….
Great work guys! Just goes to show, at first glance the damage to the tractor didn't look too bad, but the closer you got, the worse it got! 😮. Superb video quality, especially the smooth low-light movement. 👍
Just like restaurant advertisements. In the ads, they always make the burgers look so amazingly delicious. Then you go to the Mikcy D's, and you get served a sloppy burger with tomato and lettuce hanging out, and a lopsided bun arrangement. Then your like, I paid 6 dollars for this? HAHA!
Holy crap Josh.. As always “Mad Skills 🇮🇪🦅🇺🇸“ Really felt it for the driver.. Really hope he is doing ok.. And as for your yard.. That is one Massive operation that PePe’s has has going on.. Best video! I love the fact that you taught along the way. So thankful that everybody is OK. I was very surprised that a passenger vehicle did that much damage to a big boy. Never have I seen an 18 wheeler with so much damage. Just to let you know I watched all the way to the end and have totally enjoyed this video. It was a Enjoyable and thanks for such a clean speaking video God bless you
There is a Freightliner factory on the other side of town, Mount Holly, NC and they always seem to have a good inventory of all types of trucks awaiting delivery.
That wrong way driver was one lucky lady! But she tore the heck out of that tractor! Good job Josh getting everything rigged up so you could tow it and Alex coming out to help things up!
Oh don't you worry, no way in hell will that lady get to just walk it all off like it aint no thing. She broke the law, went the wrong way, and risked other people's lives, and destroyed a semi-truck. Whether her going the wrong way was accidental or not doesn't matter. What matters is she broke the law, caused property damage, and could have killed both herself, and other's, including the truck driver. If I was a court judge, I would be pulling her license, I believe that is the correct course of action, as well as making sure she pays all applicable fines and damages.
Nice work bro I work for Caltrans out of Long Beach special crews I’m on a bridge crew we work on Vincent Thomas bridge and Gerald Desmond bridge keep up the good work stay safe out there on the roads.
So first of all I would like to say that the quality of the camera is as good as if I was seeing it with my own eyes, like I too was present. I sometimes caught myself trying to look in a different direction than your point of view and then I wondered why I was looking at my wall next to me,... it was so real at times... completely forgot that I was watching a video! Then I would like to say that there is nothing I love more than watching other people work, especially when they obviously know what they're doing. Big praise also to your colleague, very attentive and with a helping hand, whether it was little things or things like the air pressure - great teamwork and the way it has to be! The last thing I would like to say is that your truck is frickin' nuts. At times it reminded me a little of ambulances or fire engines, but only when it comes to the nicely tidy and sensibly organized side compartments. Your lifting devices will hardly let you down in any situation, the cockpit looks like it's in a small airplane, the lighting is awesome and otherwise the truck looks extremely cool. Amazing piece of work man! Kudos!
Yeah, I love Pepe's for sure! But I consider Ron Pratt the best, mainly because of his many years of experience, and how professional and respectful he is. But it takes all kinds in the industry, and team work makes the dream work.
@@stellarproductions8888 I gotta disagree with you there. Yes, I was watching Ron long before I found Josh's channel, but over time I began to realize that Ron's experience was not as absolute as I used to think. But I'm not really talking about knowledge or experience, but the content of the videos themselves. It's far more interesting watching a rollover get righted than it is watching a combine get dragged out of a field. But more importantly, Josh's videography is stellar. EDIT: Oops, I just now noticed your name. Using the word "stellar" was purely coincidental. I'm a professional writer, and it was just the word that fit.
@@powertool64 Actually, what you said makes sense to me. I think you might be right about that specifically. This is why it's great watching multiple recovery channels. I just got done watching one where a small company tow operator had to deal with an entitled karren, who was complaining about him blocking the road with his wrecker, because of the job he had to do, all because a dumb trucker who should have known better, took a semi down a narrow one lane road and then took a turn to short, putting his trailer tandoms in a ditch. Once he got rigged up, really only took like 15 minutes to get him lifted up and out of there. But you know how them karrens gotta be, make a seen to make my blood boil lol. It's great watching all kinds of recoveries. I will say this, I did get tired of the 15 minute off the road car recoveries on Ron's channel. I was like, dude, you got a rotator, let's get some real stuff done, you got other workers to handle this basic stuff. Lol. BTW, good luck dude, this writers strike has been brutal in the industry.
@@stellarproductions8888 Many years ago I watched Ron Pratt, and many years ago I dropped him! He is the second most narcissistic person I have ever known or watched! These guys here on this channel show and tell the story without having their faces in the camera while trying to show you something. I'm very happy to have found these guys and their content!

@dennis: Why would he lose his job...he wasn't the wrong way driver, right??? 🤔
Poor guy.
@macforme i dont think he meant in terms of being in trouble, more so for the mental trauma. Wrecks like these really puts it into perspective how easily you can blink someone out of existence just by doing your job. Train conductors go through similar experiences.
Only because of the mental strain, it all depends on his medical test that would be required in province he’s from

Can't leave in the middle. Always got to see how ends, like this time, it always ends with hard work and tons of talent and success.
