BEST car fishing video EVER!!!! The best thing about this video is how well it shows dozens of people from multiple agencies working in perfect harmony to recover the driver and the car!! And then if all of that wasn't enough, dude runs out of gas and you just happened to be there to tow him to the gas station. Behind the recovered car. **PERFECT**!!!!
Alex did a fantastic job. And Vicente too for that matter. It is hard to believe the man survived bouncing off the rocks. Great recovery and video. I want to add that the first responders were in top form too.
Great job Alex. Naration, video, rapelling down the hill. First time on the rope and calm as could be. I would guess that the trip down might of been a little bit white knukle. Enjoyed this very much. The LAFD SAR who helped Alex down was great. Agencies can pull together when it is needed. Thanks for posting Josh. I forgot to say how cool it was for Vincente to get the out of gas car to the gas station.
Josh one I'll tell you your very lucky to have Alex on your team his so kind so polite and most of all he's a professional again your lucky to have him, what a recovery, great team work, love your videos Josh 👏👏👍
That was insane... coming from the standpoint of an Eagle Scout who hung from more than one rope during his teen years, very very few would attempt a decent like that in full daylight. Mad props to all of you doing it in the dead of night. Amazing job! How on earth the driver survived that is a real testament to the safety designs in modern cars. I doubt there is a single salvageable piece of that Fiesta.
Good to see Fire & Rescue partner with Alex on Cliff climb. Good community service given to driver who ran out of gasoline on wait time - gave him a 'Lift' to gas station
Interesting hearing you two trading information back and forth on the way down the cliff side. We know about your gear. 18 ton shackle. Platinum Slings, etc.. Hey, what's the working range on that rope, 5 to 1? Nope 15x Wow. Good video showing two sides of rescue/recovery work coming together.
I loved the conversation between you and the climb guy (cant think of a better title) about your shared experience with rope/cable and just professional discussion on load limits/ratios.
This is my favorite video y'all have put out. I'm a former arborist and an avid climber (rock, trees, caves) and would've loved to have been in on this. Thanks for having us along. I think it's pretty funny that they just put you on a prusik tied to the main line and lowered y'all down at once. Again, great video!
Well Alex & Vicente !! Great recovery on both ends !!! 1st the recovery & then the good act of taking the car out of gas to the gas station !! Glad ALL workout with the driver !! 👍👍👍👍👍
Alex, that was very brave of you to repel down to the wreck when you had no training. Now you have a new skill! But my ancient heart was in my mouth the whole time.
I sure hope Alex gets a Sherpa bonus for his climbing skills! That car also deserves a kudo for saving that guy! Another fantastic recovery for Pepe's! Thanks!
INCREDIBLE to say the very least. Talk about cool, calm, and collected under pressure!!!! Whow. INCREDIBLE 100 times over. Amazing Grace in pure in action.
Nice job Alex first time rock climbing 👊. Josh would probably have been like hook me up to hulk I’ll lower myself down 😂 and use an auxiliary to bring me back up just like that one video.
Man, if you could get that rotator safety certified for lifting people its reach and rotation would have the rescue teams calling you alot I bet. And you could lower someone to hook a car with it.
Watching this i was just waiting for Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe to pull up and go get the guy. This took me back about 50 years. Thanks for getting this for us it took me back to a happier time in this world. I was waiting for a Cal Worthington commercial about 12 minutes into the video. You guys are the best.
We're so used to and take for granted the resources we have. Look at all the different jobs that perfect their own craft come together and complete a common mission. From the firefighters rescuing the patient, the helicopter crew coming in and taking the patient to the hospital, Mr Josh and his crew recovering the car, and the State Patrol assisting with traffic and doing their investigstion. All the different pieces that came together that made a great puzzle. The only negative thing i seen in this video was a man being seriously injured, and it sucks that, that had to happen for this masterpiece to be displayed. To everyone in this video, thank you for what you do. It was a pleasure to watch.
Ahha! Been over that highway a few times. Tough Terrien. Nice shot of L.A. and San Fernando Valley at night. Another great job by your Towman in action!!!
What a great recovery, the drone footage was very good too! I hold a part 107 UAV Certificate. So the drone footage meant a lot me. No buzzing around rock solid. 😁🛫
Alex and to whom it may concern. Y’all are one in a million. Great Skills, Great Courage. I tip my hat off to You Guys. 😮😮😅 Dangerous Job. Y’all wear it well. They would have had to put me in that Helicopter. Thanks a million. 😅😅😅😊
Absolutely fantastic job. Love the car recovery and the excellent cooperation with the fire & rescue services. Best wishes from a fire-fighter 🚒 in Australia 🇦🇺 Please keep up your great videos.
Hey Alex great video! I subscribed a month ago. I towed for 5 years, so I've been also watching other towing channels. I like Ron Pratt. I also miss towing. On another note, send this to the white house, supposedly there is a president, and Gavin. I didn't see a electric tow truck, fire truck, ambulance, police, or a helicopter. All diesel. I have a diesel truck, but now I have to sell it. Peace ✌️
Great video I would have figured big flipper to have had harness in her every wrecker I ever run had harness in them guess maybe California different I don't know anyways great video guys
Great job as usual. I wonder why the rescue people didn't use your boom to lift the injured party to the surface. You must have their smaller system beat in load limit.
Pepe's recovery videos are some of the best content on You Tube. Keeping them coming Josh!
I agree I think imp the best!
Awesome recovery Alex , it was also nice to to see all these first responder agencies working together
Glad the driver was ok. Alex did an Awesome job as always
That in and of it self is a minor miracle
Bet you didn't see that coming when you started your shift. Alex, you're a rockstar.
I know it goes without sayin, but I have no doubt that y’all have the utmost respect from the law enforcement an emergency services community
The fact that the driver survived a 250 foot drop is a miracle in itself.
Unbelievable almost
That was the best recovery that I have ever seen. Well done and kudos to all of the first responders.

I've never seen a rescue hoist on the back of a fire truck like that. Pretty cool piece of gear.
Alex you got a bit of rock climbing in this recovery. That was a very lucky driver. Thanks to the rescue squad for their help too. Great job Alex.
You deserve a medal for that Alex! 🥇A hard enough job in broad daylight, but at night??? Wow!😰 Abseiling in the dark! Vicente to the rescue too! 👍
Another rotator coming to the fleet😮. You guys are killing it🤟🏾
Hulk 2.0 ☠️
@danieldeen1770 me of course
Will Hulk 2.0 be another 50 ton or will it be 75 ton ???
She-Hulk!
@@desertrat8322Alex said in the video, 50ton

It’s really humbling to see so many come together to save this man’s life. It’s a blessing he even survived that fall.
Nothing like a little shop talk on the way down the 250 foot cliff. Excellent and as usual interesting recovery.
I loved the conversation between you and the climb guy (cant think of a better title) about your shared experience with rope/cable and just professional discussion on load limits/ratios.
Impressive recovery. That is going above and beyond. Had no idea you would have to go down there and get it. Great job!
Man what a recovery in impressed with the Fiesta surviving that kind of fall.
Agree, awesome recovery. Great help from the rescuers to get down.
I don't know what Alex is getting piad, but it's not enough! Awsome job as always!

Perks of being in Los Angeles. We see all the crazy 😂
Well Alex & Vicente !! Great recovery on both ends !!! 1st the recovery & then the good act of taking the car out of gas to the gas station !! Glad ALL workout with the driver !! 👍👍👍👍👍
This channel and Ron Pratt are two good tow truck channels
Alex awesome recovery! That was a long ways down! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Alex, that was very brave of you to repel down to the wreck when you had no training. Now you have a new skill! But my ancient heart was in my mouth the whole time.
WOW! that was insane. The teamwork was awesome. Again a masterclass in recovery and rescue! Great Job to all involved! #pepe'srocksAGAIN
One of the Best in the US. Great drone filming. Keep doing your professionalism and keep safe out there
Great job Alex and Vicente!

Awesome recovery!! Guy is lucky to be alive after that.
WOW! Your work blows me away. Much needed service and well executed. Be save out there.

What an amazing recovery. Alex did a great job on this recovery.

Dixie would have started an IV with D5W and 5mg lidocaine drip. Oh, and ringers lactate! 😂
There are some experiences you can't pay enough money to have! Cool Vid!
Doesn't look like it was much of a "Fiesta" for the driver. Bummer.
Nice work. Thanks for sharing.
Alex your the man! Great job!
Awesome recovery But the most important thing is that the driver lived great job to everyone involved
Wow, that was crazy. Repelling down to the wreckage. Better get more danger pay for that job..
Another amazing recovery job. Alex is defo a superstar full of humour too.

Okay that was cool, great job Alex. A little bit of everything in this one.
The SAR guy was so wonderfully calm and patient, and explained everything clearly when going down the cliff to the vehicle.
Nice job!!!
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Josh, it is not being cocky to be proud of your work ... I agree with you 💯‼️ 🎯🎯
Ahha! Been over that highway a few times. Tough Terrien. Nice shot of L.A. and San Fernando Valley at night. Another great job by your Towman in action!!!

Hey Alex great video! I subscribed a month ago. I towed for 5 years, so I've been also watching other towing channels. I like Ron Pratt. I also miss towing. Outstanding work you guys rock can’t wait to see the new rotator😊😊
Great job as usual. I wonder why the rescue people didn't use your boom to lift the injured party to the surface. You must have their smaller system beat in load limit.
Alex and first responders did an awesome 👍 job
Great job Alex like when you expand what going on 💯💪
The lights on the truck are absolutely stunning. Pepe,s really takes care of their trucks. They are beautiful, shiny clean.
That was unfortunate for the driver but you gave us 1 hell of a video. Thanks for taking us with you down the mountain.
Hmmm...a little Bondo and some paint, and she'll look just like new.
