  • I've been absolute with everything Fred has put out in the past 4 years. pre-album 1, all the way through Rumble.
That Bolier Room set is already iconic, album 3 is one of the best of 2022, and he's single-handedly reshaping modern dance and electronic music.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

I discovered electronic music composition after leaving it for 20 years, and I discovered Fred. I can't remember what track it was, I just paused it, shut the blinds and danced. This mid 40s male, moved like a mid 20 year old again. I looked at where he came from and it all made sense. It isn't easy to do what he does, he's an incredibly special talent, and I absolutely adore his music. The Roots Manuva stuff is very cool, I wholeheartedly agree.

Broski, I’m right there with you. Fred is my absolute favorite artist ever, even though I had never heard of him 8 months ago. His music is responsible for digging me out of a 6 year long deepest depression you can imagine. Unbelievably, he’s responsible for allowing me to feel happiness again. Which you can’t put a price on.

The actual life albums are so genuine and pure and you can relate so much to them, but in addition, you have songs like jungle and baby again, or even leavemealone that was recently released and these songs are just perfect for massive parties. everything he makes is just a total banger.

***FRED AGAIN =1X IN A BILLION!**** How AMAZING is it that every now and then, amongst all the artists and music in our etha (Note - They say on the Googles that 120K songs are released on DSP streaming services every day - That is 43M per year....WTF) Someone with a rather plain name is SO FAR from plain. As a music lover and in the industry for two decades, you seem to over analyze music and not actual kick back and absorb without critique. I am sure peeps who are in the industry have the same struggles. SUPER ANNOYING - It's also not often that something or someone gives you that WOW factor. Newness, and pure originality! But the kicker is - It's across MULTIPLE genres with cross-pollination within those too. WTF! One may even say Fred is a genre within himself. (Hmmmmm) The rawness, the emotion, the visuals, and his ability to perform shows in various formats just BLOWS MY MIND. I know he has touched me and you as we connect with his music journey. Bold statement to make, but I'll take the punches....Fred Again feels like our modern-day Jimmy Hendrix. An ICON in the making! @FredAgain - Don't stop being you amongst all the chaos in the industry - Go with YOUR heart and not what a SUIT says! @JackWebb Keep up the epic work - & BIG LOVE to those who agree on the above! X

There are plenty of people with money, and plentry of people with money that try and make it.
But, there are few people that manage to actually make exceptional music.
The realities of it are that he had an entire career as an exceptional songwriter problem by multiple No1 records. And then organically went and made beautiful art.
Quite frankly I couldn’t care who is parents are, or how much money they have.

Currently at 00:54, before I watch the entire video.. man please, adjust the compressor on your mic, and give the sidechain on music more sustain. It is extremely hard to listen to, and distracting, both the sidechain and the fact that only accented syllables can be heard clearly, the rest gets lost.
EDIT: Okay, fortunately just the intro is scuffed, the rest of the video is okay. Really cool vid tho, thank you :)

there's no way you could be a fan of fred again unless you had little to no knowledge of underground electronic music, a man based off of the work of countless others, a rich toff who's father is not only a lord but his grand father started the daily mail, he is arguably (pretty far) in line for the crown. Go do your research on where his influences are coming from and don't just be a mindless tiktok sheep buying his over hyped nonsence.. if you want mindless dribble please just go listen to avicii or guetta or something.

Thanks for your comments, but I'd ask that you check the 200+ other videos that cover both mainstream and underground artists before asking me to go and do my research.
to quote the great Chuck Roberts - "In the beginning there was Jack ... and Jack had a groove
..... Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house!
You may be black, you may be white, you may be Jew or Gentile.
It don't make a difference in our house. And this is fresh!"

Whether you like it or not, Fred Again has made a lot of people very happy, and brought a lot of people back to the dancefloor. I also love Joy Orbison, Burial, Four Tet, Caribou, Overmono, Salute, the list goes on and on I’ve loved dance music since I first heard ebineezer good by the shaman at 3 years old, i’ve made 50+ videos about dance/electronic artists and DJs, and have likely spend a lot more time “researching” that scene than you have.

@@JackWebbMusicClub I'll try not to hate so hard but it's tricky, he's taken the music i care about the most, the stuff i grew up with and obsessed over, bastardised every single factor of it from the production, to the image and in my opinion has made it probably impossible that we will ever see a sophie, autechre, burial, aphex twin or any music centred around the ideals of being anti clout and social media/ instagram friendly centred
      ever again.
I genuinely pray for his downfall because it means that a future artist with a way higher skillset and way looser ideal of image first promotion will be able to make it in what's turned into a very ugly industry thanks to him and his completely ignoramus fans who have absolutely no idea what he's taken everything from.
