Didn't know they were British but not surprised whatsoever. That entire island and the one to the west make *THE* best music in the entire world and it's not even close.
Alternative rock is in an insanely healthy place right now, you've got nothing but thieves, royal blood, catfish and the bottlemen, sam fender all leading the way with bands like the amazons, yonaka, HIMALAYAS, blue stone all supporting from a little further back. I'm sure there are also hundreds of less good and less known bands working things out being inspired by these bands (including my band... I'm stupid excited to release my first songs). All in all it's a great time to be into music.
I maintain that a band is good when the art they produce is greater than they are - they truly transcend which is really the function of music. This band does the hard work: they still carry their own equipment to set up a studio; on an emotional level they can make plans when they burn out on tour instead of going further along the downward spiral; their live performances reflect their intelligence; they are really present whether they are on stage or producing new work and they are able to make a connection through the music and in person. That is why I also love Foo Fighters. Young bands like these guys graduate early from their drug induced stage stupor or skip it completely and are focused on their brand as well as their art. I would like to see NBT reach out to young artists more. Reach one - teach one.
Thanks Declan, I really appreciate it, I put loads of time and effort into refining the process of making these videos, and I think this is the culmination of it thus far.
Got to spend some time with them and know one of the members of the band more or less closely. Met them without knowing all the predators' rumors. I was new even to their music much less to all the talk. They are not sexual predators. pretty sure about that. If you ever talk to them in real life (and I am good at reading people, got Master's in psychology) you will see nothing predatory at all.
They have an uncanny knack of never clearly resolving into pure major or minor keys which builds tension in every chord. There’s no one quite like them

introduced to NBT in 2015 by my daughter who was press photographer for one of their early tours. Have seen them live about 12 times since (with another 2 gigs already lined up for this year). Incredible band, watching them on TH-cam doesn't come close to showing just how good they are live.
I've been a big fan of theirs since 2015. They played at Summer Well in Romania at 4 in the afternoon with the not so well-known bands and I just fell in love with Conor's voice and everyone's energy and passion. They came back last year and headlined the festival. It was pouring rain and everyone was singing word for word alongside Connor/ Poor lad was so stunned he kept saying in between songs how amazed he is we know their songs. At some point he started crying and had to pause for a second. They invited the Bucharest Simphonic Orchestra to play live with them and it was pure magic. The entire show was just magical. They were for me way way better than Arctic Monkeys. I'm grateful I've found them randomly on MTV 8 years ago and had their excellent music.
Never thought some would think a band that came in the 2010s to dethrone Muse as I see people make fun of Muse and underestimate their music a lot. Good thing is they dgaf and keep going.

I remember first getting into them and listening to broken machine. I was listening to all the songs and then I watched a video of particles live and I was just like wow, I can’t believe I haven’t heard this earlier and why the fuck are they not popular in the US
I love their old sound, I'm getting further and further away with each new album. DCC was just okay sound-wise, I would still appreciate the artistry If the album really catches the cyberpunk criticism, it could be a politically full album like their latest stuff.
Been listening to them on and off since 2016 after I discovered Trip Switch on the FIFA 15 Soundtrack. Got tickets to see them in the fall. Should be a lot of fun.
Each album has moved away from their initial indie rock roots, wish them continued success but they have moved from what I liked about them on their debut album
I had the chance to see them live last summer and it was the best experience of my life. I cried for half of the concert due to the emotion and passion they put into the performances and I wasn't the only one who did so ahah it was amazing

Watching this honestly took me back, I still remember the day when broken machine first released ughhhhh I love nbt
aren't they just so great
favourite band to see live. saw them for the second time last night and the energy was just something so amazing. today they were announced as head liners for one of finlands biggest festivals next year, cant wait :) been a fan since 2015 and every single album is just banger after banger after banger.
great video on them!
Thanks so much, they really are great, and are continuing to grow, which is great to see.
This is a super well done video! Love this band! Def gonna sub and keep watching these!
I saw them back in 2019 and loved their energy. grandson was opening for them. theyre fucking rad too
They've come on so far since then as well
I remember first getting into them and listening to broken machine. I was listening to all the songs and then I watched a video of particles live and I was just like wow, I can’t believe I haven’t heard this earlier and why the fuck are they not popular in the US
Yeah, I feel like they've got it to break the US, I just feel like guitar music isn't having a moment in the US like it is elsewhere rn
this band really in the future gonna be hugeeee.. the power of vocal of conor love em all
so good
Good to know an excellent band, could have done without the clickbait "dethroning Muse" though.
hey... it's just my opinion
I love their old sound, I'm getting further and further away with each new album. DCC was just okay sound-wise, I would still appreciate the artistry If the album really catches the cyberpunk criticism, it could be a politically full album like their latest stuff.
I like it, it feels like an elevation
Been listening to them on and off since 2016 after I discovered Trip Switch on the FIFA 15 Soundtrack. Got tickets to see them in the fall. Should be a lot of fun.
Overated band. Compared to Muse 😂 ?
Each album has moved away from their initial indie rock roots, wish them continued success but they have moved from what I liked about them on their debut album
deffo
Muse is the most over rated band of all time. Do not have a single good tune and should not be able to sell out a gig at my local they are that bad.
I couldn't agree more
I had the chance to see them live last summer and it was the best experience of my life. I cried for half of the concert due to the emotion and passion they put into the performances and I wasn't the only one who did so ahah it was amazing
yeah so good, so emotional, so talented
The coolest band in rock
just banger after banger
I'm not familiar with them, but from what's shown here, I'd be very hesitant to call them rock.
how on gods green earth can you justify this statement
I'm always recommending NBT to everyone I meet
smort
Absolutely love NBT been a fan since 2015 they’re class live and will remain a favourite foreverrrr❤️❤️❤️
so good
