This is perfect timing for SpongeBob's 25th birthday! I remembered when the pilot episode "Help Wanted" came on Nick back in 1999 (I was 8 1/2 years old). My favorite episodes are Chocolate with Nuts and Help Wanted. Have fun Jacob!
lol i've missed you every time you've been out here hoping one day i get to see you in my town that ride that was gutted at 15:01 used to be Chaos. as a former employee, i could tell you that thing had several mechanical issues and sometimes parts of it would just fall off mid ride, glad to see they finally ripped it out, the floom ride and roller coaster from buffalo bills were some of my childhood favorites, i remember going on it several times with my dad as a kid
So great to see Circus Circus and Buffalo Bills again! In my opinion very underrated hotels. You should do another legit Las Vegas trip again sometime soon. The one with Jenn was super fun to watch.
I was in Las Vegas two weeks ago and I went to Circus Circus and the painting rocks. And I went to see for the last time the volcano show at the Mirage.🌋🌋
Glad you got to finally ride the new Spongebob ride! I love Squidward so much. ♥ It's neat seeing the Bonnie and Clyde car again too. Your interpretation of them in the car had me dying 😂😂 Also, I saw Gremlins for the first time last night and I absolutely adore Gizmo! I can see why it's one of your favorite movies. The bar scene was my favorite. Lol
I am in Southern California! I always hope someday I will meet you on your travels. Love the SpongeBob ride! I rode the log flume as a kid and I loved it.
21:30 I actually went there 2 months ago on the way to Santa Monica and LA on a High school senior trip which included the pier, almost a whole day at Universal Studios Hollywood, and a Dodgers game.
Recently rode Sally Dark Ride's Treasure Hunt: The Ride which was awesome, so can't wait to get on this too (and of course tack on an adventure to the Adventuredome)!
Oh yeah, Arizona and California have been getting random monsoon rain storms recently. You have been blessed. The heat has been hellish here though. Your visit to Sacramento will be a hot one.
Hey there, Carpetbagger; love your videos! Too bad there were no penny's available @ the Shell Station for the lady? @ 34:53. I usually don't comment, but. . .what was up with THAT?!
Nice little jaunt across the CalNeva zone. Definitely want to check ouy that Spongebob ride when I get out there. Just when you think Vegas is moving from family friendly, they put this in. Guess they're catching onto the fact that the fan base is grown, but still want to embrace the childhood memories. The drive onwards was almost like a Wonderhussy video. Her take on the near dead Buffalo Bills had its own focus on room quality and the old concert venue. But Jacobs focus on the amusement side of the resort was just as fulfilling. Nothing like being indulged by two separate vids on the same property. I know Jacob isn't a collab person. But a WonderBagger video would be quite the treat!#
I have a cousin out there in Vegas when I go to see him. we will have a visit and ride that looks like a good time. Thanks for posting and being safe on your travel. Love your videos keep up the good work thus is good stuff.
Thanks for another interesting video. I visited the Las Vegas area several years ago when there were several amusement attractions . I got to ride the roller coaster at a small park that the MGM Resort had. I also rode the Taxi coaster at NewYork New York casino. That coaster is still there but I believe it has been renamed since I was there. I also did visit Prim and the Buffalo Bills casino. At that time the roller coaster was in operation and at that time claimed to be the largest coaster in the world. It was fast and did ride rather rough but was a very exciting ride. You would have liked the water flume ride. You had a gun to shot the bad guys while riding along the interior scenes. At that time the casino had many more people visiting. I did get to see the Bonnie and Clyde death car. I have heard there has been some efforts to get the roller coaster going again but it has been an off and on again effort. One other feature I liked was the unique pool. It was shaped like a Buffalo.
What fun! That Spongebob ride was COOL! I lived in Vegas for 17 years, and that ride REALLY needed an update! What a blast! Did you notice Spongbob's score was exactly double Squiddy's? :)
If you want to ride an Inverter, I'd suggest riding that one next time your back to Circus Circus. As I'm fairly certain it's the last one remaining in the US or Canada. And I actually had thought they recently removed it, but I guess not. They were a popular ride back around the late 90's/early2000's and seemed to have alot of mechanical issues, so they were removed pretty quickly. CC was also home to the very last Chance Chaos ride too which was another ride from the same era plaqued by issues. That one was finally removed within the past couple years.
So cool they let you film on the Sponge Bob ride. When I was covering the Circus Circus hotel, they asked that I didn't film on the ride. I think you found all of the pressed penny machings at Circus Circus too. The building behind Alien Fresh Jerk is going to be a hotel. Once it's finished you'l need to come back and check it out. Great video, done right in my backyard!! Safe Travels.
My son was literally obsessed with SpongeBob as a little kid. This is a cool ride!!! I always wished Universal did something with the SB franchise at the Orlando park, besides just the store ❤
Oh God I don't know what to do. I want to watch Jacob ride Spongebob's ride, but I don't want to be spoiled for when I ride it myself. Ah, I don't know what to do!
It took me 3 viewings of the moment at 35:55 to realize the woman was looking under the Benz and not in fact peeing in the parking lot... especially after all that talk about the waterfall
You didn't miss much with Desperado. It's a good thing that it's closed. It's one of the worst designed coasters I've ever ridden. It bangs you around like crazy. How more people didn't get injured on it is beyond me. It was a PAINFUL ride.
I've rode the Desperado some years ago it was the first Rollercoaster that Paramedics had to take me off. I was ok at the start was black and blue all over at the rides end and had a mild Concussion. Fun ride was badly maintained.
I feel bad for your experience on the roller coaster. I got to ride it when it was fairly new and even then it gave a rather rough ride. I did ride it twice and on the second ride I found a different position to put my body in the car and it was not as bad as the first ride. But compared to any other metal tracked roller coasters I had ridden in the past it rode very rough. Part of the problem most likely is the very high temperatures the track must endure. It must expand and contract quite a bit as the temperatures can vary from very hot to cooler at night.
That Inverter might be one of the last ones out there. Trust me though, you missed nothing. Just a completely uncomfortable, slow-paced ride. Thanks for sharing. That SpongeBob ride is a complete knockoff of Toy Story Mania, but it looks very well done.
Jacob! Have you visited Canobie Lake Park here in New Hampshire?! They have a classic haunted mine dark ride that’s pretty great if you like classics!! Lots of fun around the park too! Let me know if you ever get up this way!
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 i had to check to see if you were on, cause mine don't light up to let me know your on now, i have the bell on all the time. Happy birthday 🎂 SpongeBob 🎈🎁
Will Jenn be joining you in cali this time around ?? Sadly you missed the great northern Wisconsin state fair but hopefully you'll attend the big Wisconsin state fair this year 👍 ❤😊

BROWN AF!!!

kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Carpetbagger spent the night in Narnia
Absolutely warms my heart to know that Jacob's a WEEN fan. 🗣❗️WEEN MENTIONED🗣❗️
"Ocean Man" A Ween song from their album "The Mollusk" is at the end of The Sponge Bob movie, right?
Thank you so much taking me on your journey 🙏

YAY!!! First one today!! Always love watching good ol Jacob!!! Your getting so much more braver on the roller coasters Jacob!!!
Spongebob turned 25, won a Nickelodeon kids choice awards, and was Tommy Kenny's birthday
I think last time you were in Vegas you and Jen dealt with all that flooding have a great time ⏲
I hope that Jenn’s doing well
So fun I'm loving these roadside delights 🤗✨️
Good morning, I wish I was traveling with you today. I’m in need of a good vacation and some laughs.

Loved seeing bonnie and cyldes car, and seeing the aliens as well.
You scored big time on the pressed pennies!! Very cool 😎
Used to go to state line all the time with my dad the water ride was my favorite I didn’t know they closed it :,)
So many fun things to see, thank you
Oh Gosh! I'm usually just happy just watching but I have to take my kid there! If things weren't so expensive those days...
Yay! Been waiting & waiting for Carpetbagger to show us the Sponge Bob dark ride! ❤
I love the Ween reference! It’s so cool that you like Ween.
Your TH-cam Channel is great and so are you, Jacob! 👍👍👍👍👍 I wish you safe travels, Jacob.
Welcome back to California! Love it when your in my neck of the woods 😊
Great video
Its not really a "Dark Ride", its a game in a moving cart.
The stacks of rocks are called Cairns. I just learned that recently. 😂😂😂Thanks for the journey Jacob!

Just to be clear, there was the Desperado roller coaster and the log flume ride where you shot at the targets. 2 different things, both fun!!!

Great video, Jacob. I love aliens. Take care, my friend, and safe travels as always. Till the next.
I googled Alien Jerky & this is what it said Our grand vision includes a UFO-themed hotel / attraction, complete with a tour and amenities.
