Let’s consider the motivation behind even researching this “solution” looking for a problem.
I can think of a few other times in human history where one group of people saw another group as being “less than human”. Things like that NEVER turn out well.
Imagine if the time and resources devoted to this were devoted to actually solving real problems.
Right?! Same with gain of function research. All this money and time that could be used to cure diabetes? Cancer? Anything other than how to make a virus more deadly or how to clone a human.

Is it worth it? Already artificial limbs are highly advanced. They’ve been making organs a long time ago already so not needed for that. Again, ethics has left the scientific community.
@@ericaberry535 You do know that organic material without a brain is only mechanical, plus they state that laws need to be emplaced so people can't be unethical, even if they wanted to be ... we already do very limited organ transplant because they have to come from people who have died ... the amount of people that would be cured by a ready supply of created organs would be staggering ... you want to talk ethnics then what about factory animal farming? they have active brains aware of the horrors inflicted on to them and then pushed aware to their slaughter... then their meat wrapped prettily in plastic for your purchase & consumption.... but ethics isn't considered there, only the profit & the taste is.
