Great sermon pastor Cody. I tried reading the Bible when I was in my 20's and not to long ago. It's feels like sometimes I'm reading Shakespeare... can't always figure it out. I wish you were closer...I would love to go Bible study...ok let's me honestly I have an attention span of a flea....I get distracted very easily. My wonders off. I hear a word or phrase and it gets me thinking on it and that leads to something else and that leads to something else...and soon I lost my original thread of thought

I think most people feel that way about reading Scripture. Certainly, that still happens to me. Nevertheless, Scripture is the primary way that God has chosen to reveal Himself to us and so we must discipline ourselves to seek to understand it.
I also wish you were closer as it is my heart's desire to help people who are looking discover God through His Word.
