Nehemiah - 9:1-37 Confession

At the beginning of Chapter 8 the Israelites weeped and lamented after hearing the word of the Mosaic Law read to them. Nehemiah, Ezra, and the priests admonish the people for lamenting on a feast day. Thus the Israelites were commanded to commemorate and celebrate the Lord with joy and gladness. However, in Chapter 9 the appropriate time for their mourning has come, so the people gather and confess their sins on mass. Join us today as we consider the Israelites confessing their sins and the sins of their ancestors in Nehemiah 9:1-38.
